Basic black tea with peppermint. Not sure the candy cane pieces add anything to the flavor but still fun and festive.

Tasty! Smooth and minty. It's not like peppermint herbal tea at all. It's got a nice black tea taste with a smooth and not over+powering sweet mint flavor. I will buy more of this!
Holy cow. Holy. Cow. I cannot believe how good this tastes!! I am not a big peppermint fan and I took a chance on ordering this- the reviews on this were enough to pique my interest so I figured if I didn’t like it I’d give it to my mint- loving husband or mom. But I was blown away by the yumminess of this cup! The mint isn’t too overwhelming which I appreciate and there is a hint of vanilla/butter/cream taste that reminds me of a sweet mint. The minty part is apparent as an aftertaste, so if you’re looking for a prominent mint flavor, this may not be for you; however, I’d highly recommend you try it because it is an amazing flavor. I added milk to my cups and it is a very satisfying cup. I don’t think it needs sweetener, but it would be dessert in a cup if you did. This will definitely be reordered. Update: I have blown through my three oz bag and have reordered it. This is such a great tea!
Minty, creamy, and delicious! This is one of my favorite minty, holiday teas, and it doesn't taste artificial like some other brands I've tried.
This tea is really good. Certainly tastes like the Holidays. I don't think it will lose its allure after them though. I am at altitude where water boils at about 203F. I have played around with steeping time and 5 minutes is still about right.
There is no more delicious Christmas tea. The limit exists, and it s this tea. ACTUAL CANDY CANE PIECES. It s creamy and minty and delicious.

I’m not a fan of how this tea smells prior to being brewed but with a splash of milk afterwards the scent mellows out and it’s a tasty holiday tea.
This tea does teste like candy cane. I can recommend it to candy cane lovers. For me, it s just a bit to peppermint-like.
This is a good change of pace tea. When I really want to kick start my morning in a different way, this does the trick. I couldn't drink it every day though. The flavor is pretty strong with this one.

Instead of crushing candy canes into my tea, this tea does the work for me. The candy cane deliciousness is no doubt included and there's no aftertaste. With a splash of milk, and a bit of sugar, I recommend this tea, especially around the holidays.
This quickly became a favourite mint tea. a little milk added and it was like drinking a candy cane, which was perfect around the holidays. (Update with a trick, go with me, it sounds weird, but you'll thank me later: Add steamed eggnog to this tea. Just try it. It's Christmas in a cup, friends. :))
This tea was not for me. I though the candy cane flavor was kind of fake.

Yup, it tastes like candy canes. This is a fairly simple, straightforward black tea, but sometimes that's all I want-- something hot, soothing, and candy-like. Is great with a tiny bit of milk and sugar, and, let's face it, a sugar cookie.
This tea hit the spot got it for our traditional Christmas tree decorating and it smells and tastes like candy cane.
It s a bit surprising. A touch sweeter than I was expecting, but that s probably because I was expecting it to be more peppermint-y. It s good, but I think I need to be in the mood for it in order to really appreciate it.

I’m still new to tea and normally add milk and sugar. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that I liked this tea just fine without either. A bit of sugar elevates it but it’s not necessary by any means.

This is my absolute favorite mint tea, no matter the season. I love it hot with a few teaspoons of milk (soy milk works too) and a generous helping of sugar.

I LOVE this tea. It has the sweetness and spice of a cinnamon black tea with the kick of an herbal mint tea - it is both calming and energizing. I love drinking it during my morning commute! Will definitely be reordering a larger package.

This tea feels so delightfully balanced to me. A little sweet, a little creamy, a bit of a minty finish. Nothing over powers the next flavor. It's not just for the holiday season. For me, it's an any time tea.

I love mint teas. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I did not find this to be overwhelmingly minty. I think it was mellowed out by the other flavors. Overall it's an okay tea, and very appropriate around the holidays.
This is delicious! Great peppermint taste and aroma combined with a sweet creamy aspect that rounds out the peppermint beautifully. One of my favorites from Adagio and one of the few that I enjoy without my typical additions of sugar and skim milk. I drink this all year round but it's a wonderful tea for lower temps and lifts my spirits on days when I'm feeling a little puny.

I simply adore this tea. So often any teas that taste of peppermint are herbal blends, but I love the mix of mint and black tea in this blend. a Simply divine wintry blend.

Yum. Has a lovely flavor without being overwhelming. Similar to Celestial Seasoning's Candy Cane Lane but not quite as sweet and with greater body.
This is EXTREMELY minty. When I tried it with the recommended ratios of water to leaf, it was overpowering for me. It's not bad, but it is surprisingly strong.

Candy cane tea doesn't quite have the overwhelming senses of sweetmint that you imagine with the name and the candy cane pieces. It's probably for the best though, as the tea is quite good, with not as manic and tacky taste as you hoped/feared.

I really love the mint punch this tea gives. It is a wonderful switch from my normal mint options, and it does a good job of waking me up between the caffeine and the candy cane flavor. I love the smell as it is brewing, I can never wait to pour it. I like it with just a dash of sweetener. I feel the tea is perfectly balanced with the candy cane. Love this tea - all year round.
