Wow, this peppermint tea has a great flavor, you can make it stronger or weekend based on how long you steep it.
Peppermint leaves blended with tea is a popular combination, think Moroccan Mint. This goes a step further adding candy cane pieces to the mix.
Read all the positive reviews and was expecting more. The peppermint was too overpowering and made the tea taste more bitter than anything, kind of like hot mint water. I definitely did not overbrew it as well (212F at a bit less than 3 min).
Wonderful tea with a taste of candy cane. One of my morning go to's, especially when I need a pick me up with my morning tea to get ready for a long day. One part candy cane and one part chocolate make a great chocolate candy cane taste.
Love the flavor of the mint with the black tea, great all year round and very natural tasting - some other minty teas I have tried have had a strange flavor at the end.

It has a very strong, sweet candy cane flavor. Good for winter months.
This tea smells amazing, just like candy cane. I sweetened it with some rock sugar to bring out more of that flavor. The tea initially is smooth, almost buttery. You definitely get a peppermint aftertaste, like you've been chewing gum. That being said, I feel like black tea is an odd pick here. You can't really taste it and it just adds unnecessary caffeine to a tea that would be wonderful as a relaxing minty drink. Adding rooibos or some other herb as a base would make more sense. If you just want a pepperminty drink and don't care about caffeine, try this one out.

The candy cane peppermint flavor comes through wonderfully. On it's own I wouldn't say it tastes 'just like a candy cane.' But with this one I get a bit naughty--a touch of Italian Sweet Cream coffee creamer sends you straight into Candy Cane Lane territory. If you're looking for subtlety turn away, but as a dessert tea it is LUSH. The black tea adds a dark, almost chocolatey flavor that you wouldn't expect from a candy cane. But I'm not complaining. Let it be what it is and it's a beautiful thing.

I bought a sample of this just to try. I think you really have to be a peppermint fan to like it and I guess I am not.
Great for a chilly evening, but I'll drink it anytime and I especially enjoy it if I'm under the weather.

Was expecting to taste a burst of Christmas-y peppermint, but after a sip or two, I gotta say, I did get that buttery richness that people are talking about in the review section. The aftertaste has the peppermint, sure. It's not my favorite, but it at least it's something my grandmother enjoys.
I much prefer dried/fresh/real mint in my tea, but this is a fun idea for the holidays.
Love this stuff, was hesitant at first but this has become my go to tea. Mild mint flavors which aren't overly strong add to the flavor of the tea making for a refreshing and delicious cup!

I love this tea so much. I tried a sample bag from the holiday box set that I got to distribute to friends and knew that I had to get a large bag for myself. It's a lot sweeter than plain peppermint tea, and the fact that it's caffeinated means that I can basically drink dessert in the morning. I usually add a bit of milk to smooth it out.
What a treat! Not only is this tea delicious on its own, it also pairs well with other teas like chocolate and strawberry, if you are a mix-aholic tea blender like myself. Sweet and perky.

I was suprised by this tea. I have loved anything and everything mint that I've tried from Adagio and this was the first one I wasn't just head over heels gaga for. Don't get me wrong, it's really good and I love that there is a nice strong mint flavor that I can taste and smell. I think I didn't love this because it's made with black tea and I don't overly enjoy black teas. Maybe I need to play around with my steeping times because even at the recommended 3 minutes, the black teas I've tried are still a little harsh and in need of sweetners. I would still recommend trying this, you get that minty candy cane flavor, I just hoped for a little creamier, smoother finish

Pretty good. The peppermint flavor isn't overwhelming, which I like. It's not my overall favorite tea, but it is good. I would probably get this one around the holidays as a 'festive' tea.

The peppermint flavor seems like it will be subtle when you open the bag, but it is very strong once steeped. the candy cane pieces give it almost a creamy flavor and smell. Pretty nice little Christmas tea or for when you have an upset stomach. :)

This tea is lovely! It has a buttery peppermint aroma and a crisp peppermint flavor. I bought it for the holidays but have continued to drink it well after they were over.
