Yummy flavor with nice flavor. Enjoyed with milk and sweetener.
A taste reminiscent of the carnival favorite with sweet caramel and fresh apple notes.

Yummy flavor with nice flavor. Enjoyed with milk and sweetener.
This was a very enjoyable tea. The scent from the bag was strange. I wasn’t sure at the beginning. However the apple notes came out as it cooled. Great tea. It was what I expected from a candy apple tea.
This tea is one of the most well balanced that I have had in awhile. The apple and Carmel intertwine..neither overwhelming the other...excellent blend!
The tea was fine, not like something I will drink everyday but it has a nice kick
Fabulous blend of tea. Carmel forward very warming and fall like.
Sweet, apple flavor, but mostly candy and slightly astringent black tea. Benefitted from some sweetener.
The strong caramel and apple flavorings in this tea blended well together for a pleasant caramel apple effect. I brewed it at a lower temperature than recommended to reduce the bitterness that I've been experiencing with a lot of Adagio's black tea blends. This helped a great deal, although it did still have some bitter undertones that detracted from the overall tastiness. This one may need a bit of sweetener to reach its full potential. (4 min @ 190°F).
I really enjoyed this cup. The caramel really comes out and overall it’s a really strong cup of tea. I would not mind drinking this again.
A nice, autumn treat that I was happy to try as part of today’s CommuniTea. Very sweet and cozy, warm. I added a little cane sugar and appreciated the apple flavor.
It had a great smell and good caramel taste. At first I was afraid to try it, as I am usually not an apple tea fan. However, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed plain. It is a great choice if you're looking for a caramel taste.
When I read candy apple. I expected a sharp candy cinnamon apple taste. Then opened the CommuniTEA Packet, and I got a strong caramel aroma. The caramel is what I found the strongest flavor in this tea. Although I had quite a few apples pieces. However, they were not enough to give me enough of an apple flavor to make this be considered a candy apple tea. I do think this would make a perfect tea to blend with sour apple.
One of my favorites! Love the flavor! Delicious apple taste.
This candy apple tea tastes more like a caramel apple, especially after adding a little sweetness. Definitely needs to be brewed at a lower temperature to avoid being bitter and not necessarily one to enjoy iced.
A pleasant black tea with a subtle apple and cinnamon finish. A very strong cinnamon and apple nose when in the pot, not so much in the cup. 3⭐️
Got this for CommuniTEA and really liked it! I added sweetener, brown sugar, and milk, and it reminded me of hot apple cider. Great for fall!
Wow oh wow. This is an amazing autumn tea! Both the apple and candy notes were present. The apple is slightly tart, and the caramel is very mild. One of my new favorites for sure!
Smelled great...hints of apple and slightly toasted caramel. First steep I added 1/2 teaspoon of Adagio honey for black tea and the flavor was very tasty reminiscent of a caramel apple. My second steep, I added cream and sugar instead but did not like it as much as the first steep. I felt that the cream overpowered the caramel apple flavor. (4 minutes at 195)
This was ok. I did get some if the promised flavors but they didn’t Really come together for me.
I brewed 5 mins at 212 degrees. I added some honey which really brought out the apple notes i love and cinnamon. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA October box.
This tea smells fantastic and has a beautiful color, but the taste is very underwhelming to me. It just has a vague apple taste that seems kind of watered down. Not bad, not great.
This was just okay. I'm not a huge fan of artificial apple flavoring.
I usually don't like the 'natural flavors' type black teas here...but this one is pretty good! It has some apple flavor, but might need a bit of sugar to bring it out more.
A very enjoyable cup. I had the first few sips plain, and the astringency of it was a bit much. However, a bit of half and half helped tone the astringency down. It also brought out the caramel flavors a bit better. It's not quite like biting into a candy apple and then taking a sip of black tea, but it's close.
Loved it with sweetner and a tad of cream but did not get much caramel mainly apple. Will have to add more cream. Excellent brew 💗💗💗💗💗
It's a good thing I slept in on this lazy Sunday morning, because I woke up to very important reviews from other communiTEAers on how to prepare this tea properly. The scent in the packet was banana-fruity, but I had been forewarned that the candy apple flavor with Ceylon tea could turn into a carbonized sugar taste easily. After an even lower steep than I usually give black tea, the resulting cup is fruity, sugary, and a bit tart. It's good enough that I can drink it quite happily without sweetener, although I might go back for some just for funsies. (3 mins @ 190 F, no sweetener or cream)
Its a fine tea, and I am sure it is right up some peoples ally! Its sweet, I don't really taste any Carmel, or any apple for that matter, but it smells like a candy apple flavor cough drop. Its a good tea, just not the kind I like.
Yummy fall tea! Tastes like a caramel apple with a bit of sweetener. Adding creamer takes the caramel goodness up a notch!
Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA box. This is a real comfort tea - wonderfully sweet and familiar!
Definitely not my favorite tea. There is a strong artificial candy apple taste, I was hoping for a little more real apple flavor. I didn’t taste the cinnamon at all. It really reminded me of one of those caramel apple suckers that you get around Halloween, but without the caramel. Definitely not a tea I will seek out, but I also don’t hate it.
This was just awful. The smell when I opened the package was so bad that I didn't even want to make the tea. I did make it and I took one sip and it was disgusting.
I did not get a candied apple taste. I did like it and it was light and not bitter. It was a good tea, but didn't live up to the name.
Reviewed as part of the communiTEA. Delightful. Added sugar and it really brought out the caramel apple flavor!
Wow, this tea is delicious! I wasn't sure about the smell when I opened the packet, bit the flavor is great. I don't really get a candy apple flavor, though. It tastes like apple cinnamon oatmeal to me instead! I put just a bit of sugar in it and no milk.
This is one of my favorite black teas, add some stevia and its almost like there's a Jolly Rancher in the cup!
Exactly like a candy apple! Tastes like one of those suckers I got from football games when I was little. I’ve been trying to watch my sugar and I think it’s perfect without anything added. Might not be everybody’s cup of tea but i really enjoyed it!
I wonder if I might have gotten a bad batch in my CommuniTEA packet today because it smelled a little...off? Not exactly burnt smell but that's as close as I can come to describing it. The flavor I'm experiencing is very artificial. I love apples and candy apples are amazing but this just has that super artificial flavor that reminds me a bit of those cheap candy apple lollipops. More negatively impactful, even, for me though is that VERY dry mouth feel. All in all, this was pretty a unpleasant experience for me but I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume that my batch is no good.
This tea smelled great before and after brewing, but had a lingering taste like stevia- natural by definition, but my tongue knows something's not right. I suspect the 'natural candy apple flavor' is the cause.
Out of the packet this totally smelled of candy apple. After I brewed it I barely got an apple flavor, but I still did enjoy it.
I came into this tea via the Communitea (which is the most awesome thing on this whole site) and I was expecting to not like it. So... it’s better than I was expecting, but not something I’m sold on. There apple and caramel Ian flavors were the right ratio to each other, I just don’t really like either very much. The flavor changed a lot when I added half & half, this one takes other flavors very well.
Perhaps my review is anomalous. My sample smelled and tasted 'burnt' - very clear 'food spilled on the burner' odor - the candy apple over-heated? burnt sugar? Not pleasant, but bitter.
Oh yeah, caramel, apple, combined!?!?!?! What’s not to love?
I wasn t sure what to expect flavor wise when I brewed this up. I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldnt exactly call it candy apple but it had a good flavor. I ll be happy to finish the sample I bought but doubt I will reorder a larger size of it
Doesn't taste like a candy apple but it still a great tea to have.
Perfect for fall. Slightly sweet with good apple flavor.
Candy apple without the caramel sticking to your teeth lol 😃
The Candy Apple is a great flavored tea. I look forward to enjoying the tea during the upcoming holiday season.
Lovely apple flavor that is not overwhelmed by the black tea base. Apple is one of my favorite tea flavors and this is definitely one of the better ones I have tried over the years. The balance between a fresh apple flavor and a mild black tea is delightful. I was a little worried this would be too sweet, but it was perfect.
More candy than apple. A good tea, but a little bland for my taste.
It has an odd after taste, like the flavoring is off. I don't really know how to explain it.
Deliciously sweet and robust. Reminds me of fall hayrides, changing leaves and cool nights. I have had a cup on my porch every morning. Brightens my day!
