Really just okay. The tea smells overwhelmingly sweet in the container, but doesn't taste like too much when brewed. The most prominent flavor is cinnamon, followed by caramel with apple lagging behind. It really needs more apple to both sweeten the brew and to live up to candy Apple.

Really really mellow, I put in just a smidge of cinnamon whipped honey, and it really upped the flavor

It was ok. Not the best tea out there but it hits the spot when you want something candy appy but trying to stay clear of extra sweets.
★★★★★
This is really sweet flavoured tea for those who enjoy black tea
★★★★☆
Really tasty! A bit cinnomony, a bit sweet. A cozy wintertime sort of tea.
★★★☆☆
I really like the nutty addition here. I enjoy apple teas to begin with though. The hint of cinnamon I’m not a big fan of.

Love the smooth texture and sweetness. Wished it were a bit stronger.

I love this tea it’s one of my favorites. So much flavor. I could drink this year round.

I was a little concerned that this would be too strong/sweet, but it was a nice balanced flavour. I think adding sugar might put it a bit over-the-top, though.

The sweet and tart aroma of apple excites your senses. Then as soon as it hits your tongue it is like biting into a candy apple at the fair. I recommend this tea to everyone.

It has a very odd taste. The apple is subtle and there's a caramel aftertaste but overall it's just very bland.

One of the first Adagio teas I tried, from the 2020 advent calendar, and it was a winner! I tend to let my tea steep for a long time (by not timing it) but found that this tea (and other black teas from Adagio) really require following the directions and limiting the steep time to what was suggested. When you do, it’s absolutely delicious. Both the caramel and apple came through when I purchased more and made it right. But even with that first over-steeped bag (which made it heavier on the black tea flavor, and tannins) I could tell I wanted more. It’s been one of my favorites. Discovered it is also delicious with a teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk! That brought out the apple flavor even more.

I will say, I enjoy the black tea that makes up the base. But the caramel flavoring is so overpowering. I've finally starting doing half and half of this blend with another black tea. Not my favorite.

Get ready for the fair; very reminiscent of childhood trips.

enjoyed this with agave and ice, brewed longer than usual.
★★★★☆
Very good, the smell is awesome. It is actually so sweet I can only have it occasionally. I use stevia to bring out the flavor
★★★★★
A wonderful Fall tea! It s not a heavy 'sweet' taste, but delightful! Loved having this in October and November <3

I got the Halloween sample tin and my favorite was the Candy Apple Concoction. When I realized that it was a limited seasonal flavor, I was really excited to see that Adagio made this Candy Apple flavor year round. It’s very similar. It’s the perfect amount of caramel/apple combination of flavors and has quickly climbed to the very top of my favorites list.

I don't know if I really get candy apple from this, but it was a good cup of black tea with what I would describe as 'fall flavors' (since it didn't really taste distinctly like any one thing to me). It was pleasantly sweet without having to add anything else to it. There was just enough cinnamon to barely taste it on the finish, but not overwhelm things.

Not good. Very weird. I expected sweet but it was like musty old apples. Sugar didn't help.

Really nice flavor. Good combination. But what is natural candy apple flavor?

My wife and I love this tea. Love the sweetness in this tea.

I love this tea. I got it as a sample in the Christmas Teas sampler and this one is by far my favorite of the bunch. For me it is reminiscent of a fall morning with apples and a bit of an oat flavor with brown sugar. It is amazing. Highly recommend.

This was a really fun flavor! I think it definitely works best as a hot tea - I tried it cold and didn't enjoy it as much. I enjoyed sharing this with my small niece.

This is a satisfying cup of tea. Spice is pleasant and apple flavor is surprisingly present, but I wish there was just a touch more caramel. A little honey does bring all of the flavors out more, but I don t always like to add sweetener.

This tasted less like I was expecting to based on the name. I do not get the candy portion of the flavor profile, but it still tastes good.

Excellent. My husband absolutely loves this one. Will be buying more.

It is forward in apple, not getting any sweet to be 'candy apple.' It was overall pleasant.

It’s ok but definitely not my favorite. I think it’s the candy part of the candy apple that has a funny taste.

This has a juicy apple and sweet toasted caramel flavor that is really delicious when you are craving something sweet. It really does taste like a candied apple, and I've been enjoying it as a seasonal fall flavor.

Love this tea. Definitely a bit sweeter to my taste than other Adagio teas I like. But not overly sweet. It is very tasty, especially on a chilly fall day like today. I'll think I'll brew some right now as a matter of fact. :)
★★☆☆☆
I can't say I really cared for this tea. I just don't taste the apple and it has a bit of an aftertaste. It tastes almost exactly like the Kentucky Bourbon tea and is not distinctive from that blend in my opinion.

I've had this tea before, in holiday samplers, and it remains one of my favorites from Adagio. A solid, tasty black tea, with really pleasant caramel apple notes.
★★★★★
Carmel and apple flavors combine to taste like a carmel candy apple. very enoyable.
★★★★☆
Very festive brew for this time of year. I had it with a touch of stevia
★★★★☆
I think a lower temp would be good for this tea. I thought it could use a little more apple flavor, the caramel stole the show.
★★★★☆
This is a yummy tea. The sweet caramel and tart apple flavors got together well. I added milk and sweetener and it is like having a dessert.
★★★☆☆
another fine tea for the month of October. This isn't something I would buy again though
★★★★☆
This has a great candy apple flavor. I brew mine at 190 for 3 minutes.
★★★☆☆
Thanks to help from today's CommuniTEA reviews, I finally remembered to brew ceylon at a lower temp! 190º for 4 mins with just a dash of honey worked pretty well for me. No bitterness or burnt flavor. Caramel was dominant, followed by the slightly tart apple and ceylon, with very light cinnamon. Sometimes the intense sweetness of caramel gives me a headache, so I liked having caramel taste with control over the sweetness! I liked this more than I usually like caramel teas, but would have liked more granny apple tangy fruitiness in the balance. Not my thing, but would be great for serious caramel lovers!

I did not like this tea at first, but adding some milk helped bring out the caramel flavor of this tea.
★★★☆☆
This one wasn't exactly for me. I didn't add sweetener and it was a bit bitter. After seeing other's comments I see a slight temperature change (and sugar) will help. (CommuniTEA)

Love the sweetness of this one! Put some milk and sweetener in it.
