This tea is objectively three stars. It does everything it needs to do to be a good tea except I bought it hoping it would have a rich butterscotch taste. The aroma is great. But there is a very very slight taste of butterscotch. I wish for it to be more. Again a good tea and worth the try
Overall, I liked this tea. When I first opened the bag, I could immediately smell the butterscotch aroma. I was a little disappointed with how the butterscotch taste wasn't quite as strong as I was expecting giving the initial scent. Maybe I'll try a bit longer brew or a bit more tea in each brew.
This is great! Smooth and tastes wonderful with a bit of milk.

Chestnut has been my favorite flavored tea since the beginning but butterscotch is nipping at the heals of chestnut. It has a true butterscotch flavor. I drink it sweetened, with creamer. It's especially wonderful as the mornings get cooler and the holidays get closer.
I like the flavor of butterscotch, and it translates nicely into this tea blend.

This tastes a lot better when mixed in with other teas, like any of the vanillas, or honeybush banana but I didn't enjoy the butterscotch flavor by itself.

I wanted to love this tea! The smell was amazing but the taste was a bit strange.
One of my favorites so far! Adding a half teaspoon of sugar and a splash of milk or cream really makes the butterscotch flavor shine. Also fantastic iced! A wonderful desert tea.

So good! I love butterscotch, but it seems to be a bit of an 'old fashioned' flavor and it's not something I find often. I really enjoy this tea - it has some natural sweetness, and a really nice, rich flavor.

This tea is very good but not as complex and rich as many others on this site. But that is an opinion - it may well be your favorite! The quality of the tea itself is excellent.
While I'm not a huge fan of butterscotch flavor as a general rule, I decided to take a chance on this tea, and I was very pleasantly surprised! The aroma when I opened the package was powerfully sweet, but the flavor after brewing was not as intense, though still recognizable. A really tasty dessert tea!

Enjoyable, but I've tasted better butterscotch teas.
I feel like the butterscotch could be a touch stronger but it's still pretty darn good! I used brown sugar and some cream to enhance it for me. I struggle to find black tea that I really enjoy but I like this quite a bit.
[EDIT] Went from 'liking this quite a bit' to obsessed. I had to go for another cup right after my first. And I will be sure to buy more in the future when my sample runs out <3
This is easily one of my favorite black teas. If you like sweet, dessert flavors, you need to try this. It tastes the same way that it smells. It has depth to it and is VERY sweet on its own without sugar.
I made this with regular milk, and it was all right, but I felt like something was missing. So I grabbed a caramel creamer from the store, and boy, did that make it hit the spot!
OMG! This is by far my favorite tea so far. It's good any time of the day and doesn't need sugar/sweetener...its just right!
Definite butterscotch, but a bit too artificial flavor for me...may try adding to another tea to soften out the flavor...
I really love butterscotch candies, so wanted to give this tea a try, but it just didn't do it for me. Not sure what I can do with it to change it just enough to work out better for me.

I'm not a super taster, so usually have a hard time picking up flavors in tea, but this one tasted like butterscotch to me. Very good!
My dad enjoyed this more than I did, however this was a nice sweet tea. I don't think it really tasted like butterscotch though. For me, the flavor was more like cotton candy or a slice of cake vs. butterscotch.
