★★★★☆

I liked this tea. Not overpowering. Really pleasant tea.

★★★★★

A great tea, just the right amount of sweet notes with buttery flavour. Would like to see this as decaf for a just before bed drink.

★★★★★

This is great and has a good buttery caramel flavor

★★★☆☆

Feels like the flavor wasn't as strong as it could be. Plus, I didn't like addition of cocoa nibs.

★★★★☆

Has a SUPER strong butterscotch scent with a little tang of chemical at the end of it. Tastes nice, though - not overwhelming, just buttery

★★★☆☆

So so. I used a heaping teaspoon for one cup and it was pretty weak. The smell is wonderful but the flavor is lacking. To get a decent cup I'd think you'd have to double the tea and it might be good but then that gets too expensive for a tea that's only ok. I'll pass on this one. I'll take a hot cup of Autumn Mist, Maple oolong or Skinny tea over this any day!

Honestly I didn’t think I was going to like this, so I only ordered a sample size. I’ve had other caramel and butterscotch flavored teas from places and they were always awful. Well I’m kicking myself now because I need to order more- it’s AMAZING! I’m totally hooked. This tea is so decadent and I feel like I’m spoiling myself every time I make a cup. I’m definitely recommending it to everyone I know- I’m so glad I tried it!

Good butterscotch flavor, black tea not too bitter.

★★★★★

Nice butterscotch caramel-y flavor. I can't wait to try mixing this with other teas for some fun combinations.

I've started having this as my first cup of tea in the mornings, and it makes waking up so much easier.

★★★★★

The husband is loving this! Tastes like a Werther’s Original. I feel like this is a perfect cold weather tea.

★★★★★

This is quite a good blend- I like the smell more than the taste however. It’s still a really well made tea.

★★★★☆

Good, not great. A little weak and doesn’t improve as it cools.

★★★★☆

Upgraded black tea; the caramely buttery taste of butterscotch was more subtle than I hoped, but still delicious with milk and sugar as a breakfast tea.

★★★★★

Delicious and comforting. I really enjoyed this blend, significantly more than I thought I would.

★★★★★

Love the buttery taste! There is also a sweet taste to this tea that is not too overwhelming. I highly recommend this tea!

★★★★☆

Tastes like butterscotch. The flavor is subtle, but still good.

★★★★☆

The flavor was a little more subtle than I had hoped for, but it was still really good. I will definitely be getting more of it.

★★★★★

This was a great tasting tea. This will be a fall staple for sure.

★★★☆☆

I was disappointed. I was hoping to taste (or smell) that flavor. I tasted more of the black tea than butterscotch (or something like it).

★★★★★

I have one word to describe Adagio Butterscotch tea...incredible!
If you like desert tea this one will not disappoint.

★★★★☆

Tasty tea. I really like this one. Complex and creamy.

★★★★★

This is the only butterscotch tea I have ever come across. It did not disappoint! It's a great treat at the end of the day!

★★★★★

This is very sweet. It has a good, strong butterscotch flavor. Wonderful fragrance. Perhaps not an everyday tea to my taste but delectable in its own right.

★★★★☆

This tea smells great (at least I think so) but may be a bit too strong in fragrance if you plan on taking it to work!

★★★★★

This one's amazing. I wish I had found it years ago. It gives me lots of ideas. I am thinking of brewing it with cold brew coffee, or perhaps using the tea as the base for coffee. Don't oversteep this. It's quite decadent.

This tea was like a treat to me with honey and almond milk added.

★★★☆☆

This tea was OK--but not much butterscotch flavor.

★★★☆☆

I didn't mind the taste too much. A bit bitter. I added a spoon of cocoa powder and it was soooo good!

★★★★★

I like it in the morning as a sweet and comforting start to the day.

★★★★☆

At first I thought this was too overwhelmingly butterscotch, but on my second cup I realized it is in fact, quite subtle. It depends on how much sugar is added...more brings out more of the caramel/butterscotch notes.

★★★☆☆

This was too sweet for me. It had a good base butterscotch flavor, but it just wasn't what I wanted in a tea.

★★★★☆

Nice sweet flavor to this tea. For those who don’t like regular black tea this would be a good choice

★★★★★

Just as described, it is like adding a butterscotch candy to the tea, except without the added sugar. Great taste.

★★★☆☆

I really wanted to like this, but it came out pretty bitter, with no butterscotch flavor after the first taste. There just is not much taste sadly.

★★★☆☆

It tasted very mildly of butterscotch. Much more of a 'hint'.

★★★☆☆

The dry leaves smell so sweet and candy-like in the bag, so I was surprised when the brewed tea was so bitter with only a hint of butterscotch taste. It was alright for the first half of the cup or so, but the more I drank of it, the more astringent it tasted. Pretty good with some sugar added, but hard to drink on its own.

★★★★★

Great flavor! My 10 year old son likes this tea the best.

★★★★☆

When I purchased this tea, I didn't honestly expect it to taste or smell very much of butterscotch. Upon opening the package, I was struck by a wonderful aroma that was reminiscent of butterscotch pudding. As soon as the initial aroma subsided, the scent mellowed into more of a buttery, almost popcorn-like smell, with a vague hint of cocoa. Per usual, my first cup was unsweetened, so as to not dilute or distort the inherent flavor of the tea. After it had steeped, the tea took on a lovely medium amber, almost butterscotch tone. The scent had mellowed substantially. As for the taste, I was happy to discover that it did in fact taste of butterscotch, albeit only a hint. It had a mild buttery quality, a subtle hint of cocoa, and a slight finish of apple All in all, a good tea that would be wonderful when sweetened slightly with rock sugar.

This doesn't have a very strong flavor to me, so I found it bland.

★★★★★

Really good! Sweet and very flavorful, this is a nice desert tea.

★★★☆☆

Nothing to write home about, but a middle sweet black.

★★★★★

I originally got this as a free sample with an order. I wasn t sure if I would like it or not, but it smells and tastes amazing. My mother and I love this tea!

★★★★★

Rich and warm and delicious. Great for cold weather.

★★★★☆

A very enjoyable sweet dessert tea that is a nice change of pace from my usual chocolate. I add a little cream and sugar.

★★★★★

Very recognizable butterscotch scent right out of the bag. Even without honey, the tea has some sweet notes. This is definitely a dessert tea.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas. It's a wonderfully calming aroma, and I've found that it's a great kind of dessert tea if you add a spoonful of brown sugar. Delightful!

★★★★★

Admittedly, I wasn t so sure about this one at first because the half and half had made the butterscotch rather muted to the point where it felt like I was only tasting it through my nose, but then it finally hit me. BAM. That butterscotch flavor. You ll surely taste it in full when you re at the last quarter of your cup. If butterscotch reminds you of your childhood like it does me, then expect basking in nostalgia as you drink that last bit down. Pair with at least one sugar cube and a dose of half and half.

I was expecting to taste more butterscotch flavor but I can mostly just taste the black tea.

It was good, but I don't think the butterscotch taste was strong enough. Though, I do eat a lot of butterscotch candies, so maybe I expected too much from a tea.
