Smelled like butterscotch to me, added in some cinnamon creamer and it was a treat! Glad I also have a sample to be able to drink more already!

High caffeine = husband reviews. Coco and butterscotch blend is amazingly perfect. Doesn’t present like a black tea. No bite, no sugar or honey needed.
I always wanted to try this tea so I was so happy to see it in communitea. It has stronger flavor than I expected with a hint of alcohol which makes it interesting. I like it overall bit not too crazy about it

Not a big butterscotch person but this tea has the nice flavor without the sweet. Really liked it.
I loved the aroma but it was too cloying. Didn’t taste any chocolate and the aftertaste lingered until I made myself a cup of blood orange tea. Sorry this one isn’t for me.
Does exactly what it says on the tin - I didn't think it was going to be possible to have a tea taste exactly like butterscotch, but this one does. Perfect with a little sweetener - the only thing that could make it better is if it was decaf so I could have it after dinner.

UPDATE 9/3: I used up the sample I bought months ago, and today got another portion of this tea as part of the communiTEA. Drinking it is a bit like running into an old coworker you liked, but lost touch with after one or both of you moved onto another job. You're happy to see them, and you'll probably say something like 'oh we should get coffee sometime, I'll call you!' ...but then neither of you does. And that's okay!
Butterscotch tea was better than I thought it was going to be! I thought it would taste “fake” but I loved it!
Flavors bloom with some sweetener. I think people who like dessert teas would really like this one - I'm just not that person.
Doesn’t taste like much without sugar though it smells dreamy. It almost tastes like a Rooibos base. I think it would make a delightful tea on a cold holiday morning or evening.

Pleasant buttery flavors from the butterscotch were definitely forward with the cocoa nibs right alongside! I added a bit more sugar than normal because I like my butterscotch sweet and cocoa nibs not so bitter. This also helped to bring theses flavors in front of the tea. All these flavors intensified when warm. The marigold added a floral zing at the end to make this an even better drink. This was a very enjoyable and buttery-smooth morning sipper indeed. This one reminds me of the Tiefling Candy blend we (CommuniTEA) tasted on 9 Aug. A second steep was pretty good. (3 mins @ 200ºF, 1/2 tsp sugar)

This one was okay, it wasn't horrible, but wasn't a favorite in this batch of samples I ordered and not one I think I'll reorder. It smells fantastic, but seems to loose something in the steeping, I might see if it does better iced.

Once I followed the brewing instructions on the package it was the best caffeine boost in the morning with a splash of almond milk. Especially good for trying to cut back on acidic coffee!

Im not tasting much butterscotch. Its good just not my personal preference. Black teas aren’t my favorite and this just tastes like straight black tea. ps it made me kinda nauseous after I finished it.

So, this tea really smells a lot like butterscotch... I wouldn’t say it taste of butterscotch but I found when blended with mochanut mate it really makes a delicious dessert tea, perfect with foamed milk topping. Sweet enough as is.
