The chocolate and cherry go together so well, I love drinking this in the mornings.
Black Forest Cake tea is our take on the classic dessert with rich chocolate and cherry liqueur and a touch of creme. A divine indulgence!

The chocolate and cherry go together so well, I love drinking this in the mornings.
This is a delicious tea- very pointed on the cherry aspect be warned.
This is a great dessert tea with a very satisfying chocolate taste and a hint of cherry. This pairs well with cream and a touch of sweetness.
Strong cherry flavor. I would like a bit more cocoa nib for a true Black Forest Cake flavor.
Happily, this didn't have that cough syrup flavor most cherry teas have. Maybe it's because the cherry is very subtle and the chocolate is dominant. It's at its best with whipped cream and sweetener.
Definitely one of my go to teas! It tastes so good. I always use honey, but I will use half & half to see if it makes it taste more like dessert.
It'd delightful. Had a deep chocolate taste without being fake tasting and pairs well with the black cherry
Great desert tea. It is similar to the other chocolate tea options but in my opinion has more flavor.
This tea is okay mixed but the cherry flavor is very overpowering and I wish it had more chocolate or depth
A truly decadent chocolate and cherry dessert tea. Especially if you like dessert for breakfast. A tiny bit of bitterness was managed with a splash of cream.
This tea was just ok for me. I didn’t get much of a cherry or chocolate flavor. It was still good just wish it had a stronger flavor. Also I find the black tea base to be bitter if steeped at 212.
This blend is definitely for the chocolate tea lovers. The chocolate taste comes through but the cherry flavor seemed a little off to me. The cocoa nibs or the tea made this one a little bitter to me.
Was not impressed by this one. I'm not sure why I keep buying chocolate teas. Love chocolate, but keep getting disappointed by chocolate teas.
It is comforting and chocolatey with a hint of cherry. It does taste like black forest cake. I will definitely purchase again. Also a great mix with the creme black tea.
This was a delicious tea, I tasted like a cake. I wish I got more then just the sample size
Tastes just like the real thing! So rich and delicious. Great with cream and honey 🥰
This is a good tea with a smooth chocolate and cherry flavor. I gave it four stars because it's hard to get cherry flavor just right and this was a touch too artificial for me.
There's something a little mushy about the flavor of this one - it's a very heavy tea, although pretty good with some added cream.
Cherry teas are such a fun unique choice, and this rich, chocolatey blend is so good! Especially love it with honey and a splash of milk.
I liked how rich this tea was in flavor! It was very pleasant
Rich, delicious, and dessert-like without being overly sweet. It's perfect to serve after dinner at a party.
Very chocolatey and delicious. I'm not normally a fan of chocolate teas, but this one has a very rich flavor that goes well with milk and a little sugar.
A Wonderful tea! It has beautiful chocolate notes, with hints if cherry throughout. One of my new favorite teas.
A perfect mix of chocolate and cherry! This is currently one of my favorites.
I was excited to try this, but really disappointed. It smells and tastes very “perfumey” to me, although there are no floral ingredients listed. Even my husband said that it sounded better than it tastes (this was one of his selections). The perfumey notes (evidently the cherries) overwhelm the chocolate.
Black Forest Cake is just ok, not my favorite. Steeped for 5 minutes and added milk to bring out the subtle cake flavors. The chocolate flavor is lovely but I prefer the other chocolate flavors Adagio has to offer.
Perfectly decadent without any guilt. One of my new favorites.
Love it ,love it ,it’s amazing yum !, ,will be ordering more in the near future,,am addicted to all of my favorite teas
It's a good tea, but the cherry is a bit overpowering, especially on the back end, and I feel the balance was off, but still a tasty cup.
I bought a sample of this tea as it sounded really good and it definitely was. I will be buying a larger bag soon. Highly recommend it!
Very nice flavored black tea added a little non dairy creamer. Plan on ordering more.
This was my first time trying a chocolate tea. It was just okay, the cherry flavor was a little overpowering . Still will be finishing the sample bag I ordered, but not as quickly as others.
Cherry and chocolate, what could be any better! This brews up with a ton of flavor and is never bitter. Love it!
This is yummy tea that would be improved by more chocolate and less cherry. The concept is great--more cake teas, please!
Tastes wonderful, is a nice balance of sweet and bitter I like to drink this when I am relaxing at home but still need to be able to get things done
I had high hopes for this one but the cherry flavor came off as very artificial and made my mouth numb.
A good dessert tea full of more of a dark chocolate flavor and rich cherries. Tastes great with honey!
I'm a little disappointed it doesn't quite taste like a black forest cake. The chocolate flavor doesn't really come through and the brew is only somewhat decent when hot. Definitely not very good when cold brewed. The chocolate truffle tea actually tastes closer to a black forest cake than this tea.
Love this tea! Really does hit the spot when you're having a sweets craving, especially for something like dark chocolate. The bitterness balances out nicely!
Rich, creamy, and chocolate-y. Goes well with the fruity cherry flavor. Sugar and cream make nice additions, but they are not necessary. I add an extra dried cherry or two to get a some of the tartness that I like from Black Forest Cakes. It's a pretty good dessert tea.
It has a pretty good chocolate, cherry flavor. Taste like Black Forest cake. It was good, just not my favorite.
I was excited to try this tea as I love black forest cake. It makes a delicious latte- however, I find there's a weird after taste to this one I'm not so crazy about.
There wasn't as much chocolate in this one, I have to add some chips from my cabinet to really taste it haha.
Enjoyable flavors, especially if you are a fan of the cake!
This is officially one of my favorites. This is the only chocolatey tea that actually tastes chocolatey to me.
I guess I was expecting more of a chocolate and sweeter taste. it was a little strong for me but others might think it great.
Not a fan of this one. Seemed overly sweet and bitter. I tried re-steeping for less time and it didn’t make a difference at all. Too bad.
I wanted to steep this one for longer, so that the cherry flavor had a chance to infuse, but I didn't want to scorch my tea leaves, by steeping at 212°F. I put one big dried cherry, in my 2tsps. in my tea ball. And there were plenty of chocolate chips in that 2tsps., too! The aroma was so wonderful! It smelled like I had taken a fresh Black Forest Cake, straight out of the oven! And the taste? So exquisite! I'm not usually one for cherry flavored things, but I will make an exception for Black Forest Cake. This tea, did not disappoint! It is absolutely delicious!
Rich and chocolatey. Good hot with some cream. It's a nice dessert tea. I don't know if I would like it every day, but it's a nice treat.
This is a nice enough tea, but I find it does not have a strong personality. It is just a good tea, but not as much of a chocolate flavor as chocolate truffle.
