Absolutely love this tea! It quickly became one of my morning favorites. I’ve found that brewing longer at a lower temp is best for the stronger flavor I’m looking for.
Ceylon black tea with a touch of almond. Plush mouthfeel, creamy marzipan notes, nutty sweet, balanced astringency.

Absolutely love this tea! It quickly became one of my morning favorites. I’ve found that brewing longer at a lower temp is best for the stronger flavor I’m looking for.
If you like almond flavor, this is the tea for you! I found the aroma slightly overpowering so used it to blend with my favorite black tea. It adds a very soothing flavor when blended with your favorite black tea. The almonds notes add a nice touch, and it makes me feel like relaxing around a fireplace on a wintery day.
One of my favorite of the Adagio flavored teas. Very balanced and smooth
Nice black tea b.ase, taste like marzipan! I like this tea with a little milk to bring out the almond flavor
This tea was Ok, neither bad nor memorable. There was little almond flavor to be had, and tried short and long steep times up to 5 minutes.
Almond has to be my favorite to create a combo, which is my go-to. I guess you could say it is my favorite tea overall because I have it on my 'playlist' no matter what the season. In the spring and summer, I mix a little less than half of my teabag of Almond and add either Peach, Black Cherry, or sometimes Blueberry to it. In the fall and winter, I keep Black Cherry around, but more often, I mix Almond with Candy Apple, and sometimes I add in about 1/4 tsp of Cream.
This is a great breakfast tea! Mildly sweet with a warm, comforting aroma. I drink it with a touch of cream and sugar as a treat, but it’s great on its own too
This smooth cup is fabulous, both hot and iced. If cold, add a touch of honey while steeping, and it’ll be like dessert!
Pancakes and this tea are my go to combination for a early morning. It is sweet and flavorful and adds a delightful energy.
Delicious tea, but a little light on the almond flavor. Black tea flavor is a little too prominent, but the almond is still present.
There is just something about the sweet almond flavor. I'll drink it alone or with other Adagio teas.
I really like the flavor of this one, reminding me of marzipan. After trying this as part of the nug and spice teas set, I had to get a larger size.
This is my go to tea. It's good at about 3 mins but okay if over-steeped. It's hard to mess this one up, and I appreciate that. It's also great in other teas, like chocolate or raspberry.
Tastes like almonds! Good quality tea & reasonably priced, love that Adagio offers sample packets to try.
This tea tastes like a shortbread cookie! Delicious! I really enjoy this with milk and sugar. Soooo good!
I love this one iced with a bit of soy milk and sweetener. It is dessert in a cup!
One of my faves! Got it as a sample once and now bought even more because it's become one of my new go tos
My new favorite tea! The aroma is amazing and I have gotten all my co workers hooked!
Taste just like almonds perfect light almond flavoring. Good for a afternoon cup of tea
It's good, but if anything the almond flavor is a bit too obvious.
A clean, crisp black tea. It's dry on the mouth, but doesn't leave that burning sensation on the throat from the astringency. The almond flavor isn't for me. I like almond in baked goods, but in baked goods almond extract is balanced by vanilla, sugar and butter/oil richness. Without any of that, almond flavor is bright and has a sour note. It definitely is raw almond in flavor, not roasted snack almond. I tried adding sweetener and milk (erythritol and oatmilk) and it made no difference to the tea. If you like clean notes and a crisp, bright flavor profile, you'll probably like this. It's not something I prefer, so this is a no for me.
This is a nice enough flavor, but I prefer the almond oolong. The black tea and the almond are both strong flavors and seem to counteract each other more than complementing. However, if you are an almond fan and want a kick of caffeine, this could be good for you.
Delicious! I love how strong the almond flavor is. Truly dessert-like. When you put cream and sugar in it, it's a real treat.
For some reason I remember the almond flavor being stronger few years ago? I hadn't ordered from Adagio in a few years and decided to get some of my old favorites, and I remember this one having a more pronounced almond extract flavor... still tasty, just not as strong as I remember!
edit: Alright, this tea is starting to grow on me. The almond flavouring is still ridiculously strong, but it's okay if you put enough milk in. I suggest brewing it at a lower temperature, about 95c, to reduce bitterness.
I love the nut teas. I like to mix the almond and vanilla. I love the smell. It is a go to favorite of mine.
Almond is a favorite flavor of mine and I love this tea. It's good alone but also blends really well with other teas.
There's something about almond and black tea I love, and Adagio's version does not disappoint. Sweet, subtle.
This almond tea has become my favorite! Really Carrie’s the almond flavor. I like it as a treat either for breakfast or after dinner. Yum!
I really like this tea. I don't typically drink hot tea with my dinner, but this almond tea goes really well with red meat. I know that sounds weird, but it's good!
This tea is a perfect representation of sweet almond - nutty & sweet!
Amazing, deep almond flavor. Fantastic when mixed with cream and sugar.
Even just the smell of this tea transports me to childhood holidays of cookie baking and eating. It's a wonderful tea.
This tea has a subtle almond flavor that is nice. But, I would recommend steeping it at a lower temperature or for only a minute or two, as otherwise it quickly becomes bitter.
I love almond flavored things so this tea was perfect for me.
Nice almond liquor and black tea combo. Did not blow me away like the chestnut but I can still see this being a semi-regular in my rotation. Will get this again.
This tea smells like the marzipan chocolates I get at Sees candies. Sweet but not overpoweringly so.
Delicious almond flavour that works great when mixing with other teas. I like almond mixed with cream tea and a splash of milk.
Very tasty, kind of tastes like an unsweetened biscotti. (Cold brewed for 10 hours)
A good blend alone or mixing it with a cherry blend made for a great hot or iced brew.
This is a good black tea. The almond flavor is very nice and pronounced, but it's not over the top or artificial tasting.
I found this a little strong by itself but excellent when mixed 50/50 with the chocolate tea.
This was a lovely nutty flavored tea that was just right for a lazy weekend.
Love this tea. Added a little bit of cocoa powder and creamer and it was delightful. I will definitely order again.
I wanted to like this one more. I love almond. The tea has a great smell and some almond taste, but for me it’s a bit artificial. The black tea is good, but this one is a miss for me.
I had this tea this morning combined with the cherry to make a delicious mix. The aroma is almost as good as the taste.
Actually, for me it tasted a little bland, but I like strong tea
I really like how this one tastes. It’s the feeling of sweetness without having sugar. The slight amaretto adds a quality that is all year around tasty.
This tea was a warm taste and is one of my favorites!
Great tasting almond tea!
Just the right amount of almond flavor.
Opening the packet you are met with a rich almond smell.
I really like this tea.
