Another good flavored black tea. This one reminds me of these wonderful amaretto cookies I love from an old Italian pastry shop. Good sweetened or unsweetened, with milk or without, but milk and cream renders it totally dessertlike. A new favorite.
There is a lovely, strong marzipan scent and flavor.
I was pretty disappointed when I opened the bag - the tea smelled very strongly of (rather artificial) almond. I'm glad I gave it a shot anyway - it mellows out considerably. I added a bit of Adagio's rooibos vanilla chai and some soy milk, and it was quite tasty.
Very very strong smell when you open the bag, but the tea itself comes out nice. The flavor is stronger than what I expected, but possibly a nice morning tea in small doses. I don't think I will get it again, but I'm very happy with the sample.
This is one of my absolute favorite teas ever. It has a flavor like marzipan or Amaretto and is very desserty, especially with milk and sugar.

I got this tea as a free sample and brewed it by itself. It tasted like I put marzipan in my tea, but it was not overly sweet. It was good, but if I bought this again it'd be part of a blend.

Opening the bag you're surrounded by a beautiful almond smell, reminding me of a sweet almond loaf, and the taste does not disappoint. It's wonderful with a couple spoons of sugar and a spot of cream. With this mix, color me in heaven.
The almond scent was pretty powerful when I opened the bag, so I was worried that it might taste too artificial. But once brewed, it had a nice subtle almond flavor and a really rich almond aroma. With a little sugar and milk, it was quite a little treat, like a little cup of marzipan!
I enjoyed this flavor. It makes a very nice iced tea similar to one my mother used to make in the summer. dding a little vanilla and lemon juice gives it a nice touch.

My first tea from Adagio, and I love it. The almond fragrance when I opened the bag was powerful, in a pleasant way, and definitely reminded me of amaretto. When brewed the almond is more subtle. Delicious with or without sugar and/or milk. I think this would work really well in a range of blends, I can't imagine something that it wouldn't enhance.

This is my all time favorite tea. I've recommended the almond to friends and they are now hooked. Great with a dessert in the evening or a perk up in the afternoon. It's a delicate flavor without being overpowering.
I love almonds, and I love tea. This is the best of both worlds, and taste really good when mixed with spiced teas. It is like heaven in the bag and nirvana in the cup.

I got this in the nut and spice sampler and wasn't expecting much, but really liked this one! It is a lot bolder of a flavor and aroma than I expected, which is good since I like bold/strong flavors.

This smooth tea is perfect for a cold night in December. I usually go for fruity teas, but this tea is definitely on my list of favorites.

-STRONG- aroma, distinct flavor. Personally I love to blend it in fruit teas because it comes out tasting a bit like the petite-fours I used to get at the fancy bakery when I was younger, just be careful with your blending ratios. The almond has a tendency to try and overpower other flavors--it really wants to be your favorite!

When I smelled it straight from the bag, it smelled a bit like amaretto, which I really liked. Brewed, it's got a subtle flavour that tastes great blended with other teas.

I wish this tasted more almond-y. Still a good cup of desert tea. But don't make the mistake I did an have it as desert at bedtime--remembering too late it's a black tea with caffeine!
Very, very potent! If you are using this to add a little almond to one of your mainstay teas, a very little goes a long way.
The sweet aroma is amazing and appealing, but slightly misleading. The flavor of the tea is not nearly as strong as the aroma suggests, which is slightly disappointing if you're an 'amaretto' flavor fan like me. If you're more into the subtle almond/amaretto flavor, this tea is definitely for you. That aside, I really do like it though, and found that by mixing it with a bit of the hazelnut tea they compliment each other perfectly and are great with vanilla creamer. Perfect breakfast or after dinner treat!

Delicious! The scent of this tea is amazing, and the flavor is nearly as good. A bit of sweetener and milk compliments it nicely. I like to use a bit more tea than is recommended on the bag for a stronger flavor.
Still one of my go to teas. Love it on it's own and with coconut and a little chocolate.
I noticed the flavoured black teas tend to get astringent easily, so i tried it a few ways- brewed according to directions, slightly underbrewed, with a pinch of baking soda in the pot, hot, and room temperature. It really oversteeps incredibly quickly, so what made the most sense was to transfer it from my ingenuitea to a large thermos with milk and sugar to stay hot and at the proper strength while drinking.
Love, love, love almond tea. One of my favourite of the teas that isn't in a pre-made blend. Although definitely handy to have for those who do make their own blends at home!
This tea has a very strong artificial marzipan flavor that I really don't enjoy. If that's your preference, this is the tea for you. If, like me, you're looking for a more natural almond flavor, try a different tea.

Almond and tea? Yep, sounds a little strange but the flavors combine wonderfully in this tea. Add a little sweetener to the final product and it almost tastes like hazelnut. A super tea for cold winter nights, this one is a winner.
This tea smells amazing! It's sweet, but not overpowering, and has an incredibly smooth finish, especially when I drink it with a splash of milk and sugar. It takes me back to eating almond croissants in Paris.
This tea was pretty delicious. It tasted a bit like hot Pepsi, nice and strong and rich. It's great on its own, but probably overwhelming in a blend.
