★★★☆☆

I received this tea as a free sample. It smelt very almondy pre-steeping, but afterwards, it just smelt and tasted like black tea.

★★★☆☆

It's ok, I expected more of a marzipan taste to it, but it was more like a caramel flavour.

★★★★★

A very yummy almond flavor! The tea and almond blend great together to make a delicious cup of tea.

★★★★☆

This tea is great! The almond is nice and goes well with other teas.

★★★★☆

Lovely, light and just right when I am in the mood for the almond taste.

★★★★★

Love this tea. Has a good flavor. I only steep it for a couple minutes so it doesnt get bitter.

★★★★★

I gave this to my friend and she said it was excellent!

★★★★★

Great taste! It's quite unique from other black teas - a nice change of pace!

★★★★☆

A nice, nutty, tea with a strong kick to get you up in the mornings. Works best with cream.

★★★★★

Delicious...never knew what I was missing! I mix with the cream tea blend and sometimes also cherry tea.

★★★★★

This is wonderful! It tastes like Italian cookies without being too sweet! I got this as a sample but will most likely be buying it soon? Delish!

★★★★★

The almond fragrance is divine and so is the taste ! It's a great tea anytime of the day.

★★★★★

Delicious. When I opened the bag for the first time, the marzipan-cherry scent knocked me off my feet. It is a little milder after brewing and adding a bit of milk and sweetener, but still... if real almonds tasted like this, we'd all be 300 pounds and the only thin people would be those who are allergic to nuts. I like mixing this with a little vanilla tea.

LI loved this tea! Haven't ever had almond tea before but will be ordering more.

★★★★☆

The tea has a very pleasant, nutty taste. I didn't think that I would like it based on the smell alone, but the taste is quite good, if a bit overpowering. It works very well when mixed with other flavors, such as caramel or vanilla, that smooth out the taste a bit.

★★★★★

Has a delightful heft that is heavy with flavor. Drank black the almond really shines through, controlling the cup. With a splash of cream or a pinch of sugar it really fills out nicely to reach a balanced black tea/almond harmony.

This tea is very sweet, and has a light nutty taste. I think this would be great as a blend, I just need to experiment! Update: I found my new favorite combination with the Irish Breakfast! The Irish Breakfast cuts the overly sweetness of the almond, but it still gives the blend a nutty taste. My new favorite!~

★★☆☆☆

I wasn't a fan, the almond taste almost tasted more like an extract. It just didn't pull the essence of almond on this one.

★★★★☆

Very nutty, but also pleasant. Mixed with vanilla, it was great.

★★★★☆

I got this as a free sample. It is very pleasant and seems to have an inherent sweetness about it. i will likely get this when I run out of chestnut tes.

★★★★★

I got a sample of this knowing it would be a tossup, as I had no idea what to expect. However, the smell in the bag alone was strong and sweet and earthy, and it steeped just as well. This is a great tea to enjoy on a cold day. I add a little bit of milk to make it cozier.

★★★☆☆

I can smell the flavor but cannot really taste almond.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas from Adagio, with a smooth rich flavor

★★★☆☆

I don't really care for flavored tea. This was a sample just to try it.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite by itself, but great for mixing with other tea. Good subtle flavor.

★★★★★

It reminds me of my childhood. I use to drink a bagged tea with my parents with a splash of carnation milk! They discontinued it, so when I saw this I had to try! It's delish!

★★★☆☆

This tea is ok, just ok. It is very strong with the almond flavor. It'd be good if you were someone that drank tea with milk and sugar, but on it's own the almond is just too strong to stand.

★★★★★

This has a wonderful, natural almond taste. I tried another brand and the taste was very artificial and bitter. I will buy this again.

★★★☆☆

I had high hopes for this tea, but as a regular chestnut drinker it was not what I had hoped for. I will be sticking tot he chestnut.

★★★★☆

I can't help but compare this to the almond oolong-which has a richer, more decadent flavor and mouth-feel. This has a nice aroma with a prominent almond flavor that verges on cherry, but between the ceylon and the oolong, the oolong wins.

★★★★☆

I'm a big almond fan, so this tea is good for me on its own, especially with some milk and sugar. I also think it would be good for blends. Definitely a nice almond taste.

★★★☆☆

Smells good, my roommate liked it when she tried it.

★★★★☆

A really nice dessert tea. Goes perfectly with cookies of any kind (but particularly almond biscotti). Prepare with milk.

★★★★★

Nutty flavored teas are my favorite. Great smell, fresh taste.

★★★★★

I think the smell of this (loose) tea comes off very strong and almost chemical to some, but to me it smells great and has a stronger almond flavor when brewed than the roiboos version. It's amazing with milk and honey added, like sipping marzipan.

Very Love love this flavor. I added sugar and milk and it was such a smooth cup!

★★★★★

If you love an almond flavor, this is for you. It's not overly strong which makes for a good, unique cup of tea.

★★☆☆☆

I didn't like this one at all, too cloying of an almond smell but almost no taste of almond.

★★★★☆

This tea is more like almond extract than actual almonds. Granted, this is fine for me because I love almond extract, but it isn't what I was expecting. Still yummy though, especially with milk.

★★★★★

This has a great nut taste to mix with other teas. Love it

★★★★★

I love this tea! The aroma and the taste are amazing!

★★★☆☆

Almonds aren't really my sort of thing, so it's not the tea's fault. I'm sure you marzipan fans will enjoy it.

★★★★☆

Great almond flavor and aroma, I give this tea a 90. Great after-dinner cup, especially if you're trying to substitute tea for dessert.
(Not as amazing as Adagio's Chestnut flavor which I would rate a solid 100, but, in full disclosure, I have found no other flavor as good as Adagio's chestnut...sorry, Almond.)

Great tea, but it can be a bit unforgiving. It gets bitter quickly, so you have to be careful not to overbrew it. I left my first cup a little too long (nearly 5 minutes), but you get a lot more of that nutty sweetness (it really does taste exactly like marzipan) at 3-4. The almond flavor is a lot tastier than it smells in the bag, but it's strong enough that I would avoid drinking it with meals. Perfect as an after dinner treat or afternoon pick-me-up.

I may have overbrewed my first cup. It tastes good initially, but has a bitter aftertaste.

★★★★★

This tea is perfect, simple almond flavor done right.
