When you open the bag the sweet smell hits you in the face. I thought that the tea may be this sweet when brewed. However it's actually more nutty than sweet. It's come much closer to being a pure almond flavor than other tea's that I've tried!
Ceylon black tea with a touch of almond. Plush mouthfeel, creamy marzipan notes, nutty sweet, balanced astringency.

I have had other almond flavor teas before and did not enjoy it. This almond tea from Adagio is good anytime of day.
The taste and the aroma are both very pleasing. this tea mixes very well with other black teas and it provides just an extra bit of flavor to any cup to enjoy
Has a nice gentle authentic almond flavor. More nutty and less 'amaretto-y'.
I really like the almond tea, but I prefer it mixed with another such as cream or vanilla better than by itself.
It's good on its own but I absolutely love this in blends. It's awesome hot with vanilla or chocolate
This is one of my favorite things to drink on a chilly fall afternoon. It has a lovely, creamy texture and with the addition of cream and sugar it's like having a bit of marzipan.
I enjoy this as much as the almond oolong. Also has a delicious marzipan flavor. Very smooth. I enjoy it with milk and sometimes mix it with the chocolate chip tea.
I like this one more than the almond oolong. This one seemed less potent, and slightly nuttier. I think it's because it was paired with a good black tea.
I put tea in a filtered bag and pored hot water into mug. I know I don't do it right.
Almond tea is rich without the bitterness. Try with cream.
The almond tea is very nice and mild. The almond flavor isn't too strong and is a nice breakfast tea.
I'm going to update this: I still don't like this tea on its own however it blends very well with Caramel and a bit of cream teas.
I try avoiding giving really bad reviews and ratings but this tea is a special case. It's truly terrible. I keep picking up my mug and taking a swig, to only choke and cough. This tea tastes like a mix of artificial almond extract and cough medicine. I can't even keep it in my mouth long enough to fully get a sense of the whole flavor profile. This may be suitable for blending in small quantities but I would suggest avoiding this tea on it's own unless you really like almond extract in things. Definitely, buy a sample size first if you have never had this before and are thinking of purchasing. I'm glad I only got a sample size.
The leaves smell wonderful- they remind me of Christmas cookies, as my grandmother's Christmas cookie recipe calls for almond extract. I enjoy the flavor as well, and the price was very reasonable. However, I was a bit disappointed that the almond was only a flavoring, and that there weren't any actual almonds in the tea. Overall, it's a great way to get a cheap almond tea fix.
This came out bitter so I will try again with less tea and less time. It smells awesome regardless.
A good tea but i favor sweeter reas. Glad I tried it and I'd drink it again but it's not my favorite.
This is not as good as the Almond Oolong but it's still drinkable.
this tea is very soothing and smells great - I brew it as directed
A great tea by itself, but I use this one in blends mostly. I mix it without black teas such as chocolate, caramel, apple, cream and vanilla or a pinch of cocoa powder. A boost in the morning with great flavor options. If you like a splash of milk, try cocoa or sweet cream creamers!
One of my favorite Adagio teas. The flavor is lovely, especially with a little milk and sugar. I make sure to order more before I run out.
Almond is my favorite flavor and this tea is almond flavored but not sweet
This tea is quite unique! I'll definitely have to try this in a blend of a few flavored black teas. The aroma from first opening the package is straight up 'marzipan', sweet and nutty at once, warming. The aroma didn't fade at all from the cup, but the taste is a lot more subtle than I anticipated. It's not a bad thing, but I'd like to see the flavor more potent and up-front.
Oooh. Almond is good on its own. Almond is great when mixed with chestnut or hazelnut.
I love this! Black tea is my favorite and mixing it with the almond gives it a creamy nutty flavor that wakes me up in the morning
I just tried this tea for the first time and must say that this is what I've been searching for! I am a huge fan of amaretto tea (which is so hard to find) and this is a great one. So crisp and refreshing. I wish I had bought a whole pound. I will definitely be back for more.
This tea has a strong almond flavor that I've found works really well in blends with other teas, especially vanilla and cream. Looking forward to more experiments!
taste good alone but I like mixing it with other teas
This tea is simple, delightful, and tasty. There's nothing super amazing about it, but it isn't bitter, it's smooth, and sweet enough that a tiny bit of cream goes a long way. If you're like me and like sweeter, softer teas then I would definitely try this one out. Will definitely reorder!
One of my new favorites! Strong and smooth. I prefer it with sugar and milk.
I was surprised at the delicious light taste. My son also enjoyed it.
Awesome almond flavor. Tastes good with milk and sugar.
The smell of almond is stronger than the taste. It's still nice. It's also good for blending--it's very nice mixed with Vanilla or Vanilla and Summer Rose.
Love the sweet taste. Sort of reminds me of the fall holiday season.
I liked this almond tea. This tea had a smooth flavor that I enjoyed.
The almond give the tea a rich but not overpowering flavor
I likes this tea a lot, its even better when mixed with coconut tea!
I'm not sure what it was about this tea, but we just didn't like it. Maybe the almond doesn't go as well with black tea as we imagined. Maybe it is better with cream or milk... -Caroline
If you like almond, this tea is a must. With a bit of sugar and cream it is fabulous! The almond flavor could be a bit stronger but still excellent as it is, brewed 8 min, I like my tea strong. Surely will become one of my favorites.
Reorder time for me - still a favorite.
Excellent almond flavor, good on its own or mixed with other black tea flavors.
Smooth taste with a wonderful essence of Almond. I love it with or without cream and sugar.
This tea is the absolute favorite of my daughters. We enjoy it together several times each week.
Wonderful add in to another pot of tea. I like to mix my teas together. Added to berry blast. Yes!
I like the almond black and oolong teas. nutty smooth flavor.
I mix this with vanilla, and the combination is smooth and wonderful for ice tea. I have to measure what I drink, so I make a quantity at a time, and keep it in the frig. I found the right size drinking bottle, so that I drink two bottles every twenty-four hours. Recently, I bought a tea maker, and found out how much easier it is to make three quarts at a time, rather than make by hand.
Nice smooth taste. I wasn't sure I would like the taste, but it is pleasant.
Like it a lot drink it in the mornings and after dinner.
Love this tea. have it frequently
I actually ordered a sample of this by accident. The almond flavor is very strong, too much for someone like myself who doesn't like nuts. Still, it might be a good supplemental flavor. I'll try mixing it with some of my other teas.
Wonderful flavor.. Really enjoyed for dessert tea.
Since I love almond this was an easy choice for me. You can taste the rich flavor of almonds while you enjoy the smooth taste that this tea offers.
Great black tea - full body and great taste with hint of almond
This tea is exactly as described. Strong, a little on the sweet side, and smooth. It holds up well to re-steeps, and the almond flavor shines through with every sip. I probably wouldn't drink this everyday, I favor more plain black teas, but it goes very well with dessert.
