I love this tea, especially mixed with the almond and cream teas.
Not a bad cuppa, but it is very perfumed. It smells and tastes more artificially fragrant then it should. The vanilla taste thankfully is not overpowering. And being decaf I can drink it in the evening with no ill effect. I drink mine with whole milk and orange blossom honey. All and all it's a good cup in the evening.
Yum. I upped to about 1.5 - 2 tsp as I tended to taste water with only 1 tsp.
This tea doesn't work for me. I was hoping it would be like Numi decaf vanilla but the vanilla smelled very artificial and the taste was super bland.
I love this tea SO much. The vanilla is really natural and bean-y tasting. Perfect before bed!

I found this to be better than the rooibos vanilla. I like the fragrance that comes out this one and the taste reminds me of vanilla beans.

Are you looking for a great hot tea to unwind with at the end of the day? Then this decaf vanilla is the answer. The vanilla flavor is not artificial or overpowering as some vanilla teas are, but is subtle. I like mixing it with decaf spice.
A little underwhelming but good when you don't want too much flavor in your tea. The vanilla could stand to be a little stronger or perhaps a weaker tea would work better.

So good. I especially like to blend this with other decaf flavors. I blended it with my first sample pack of decaf orange, and the result was fantastic! I have since ordered more of the vanilla and orange, but the orange packs I'm getting have barely any orange-ness to them now. My favorite blend and I can't seem to get it back.
Good hot tea. I add a lttle sugar and have it in place of a desert. Tastes as good as it smells.
The vanilla adds a nice smoothness, but on its own it tends to overwhelm the flavor of the tea. I think it'll be great for blending.
Got this thinking I'd like a decaf option, but I think I'll always just stick with the caffeinated version.
Adagio's decaf vanilla is probably my favorite flavored tea of all time. Their regular vanilla is great, but (surprisingly) I find the decaf to be even a little smoother in flavor...plus I like a sweet-ish tea in the evening, when decaf just makes sense. Any evening when I make time for this tea becomes a better evening. :)
I hate to write this review since I love your other teas so much, but this one is unfortunately not one of my favorites. It all comes down to the fake vanilla flavor - too synthetic-tasting and definitely not enjoyable at all. Next time I'll stick to the non-flavored decaf ceylon, or blueberry when I want a flavored taste.
This tea was not one of my favorites. I think it is because of the Ceylon tea base, which imparts a bitter and sometimes 'cheap tea bag' flavor to my palatte. I am curious to update this review once I try the Vanilla Black Flavored. I am curious to see if there is a distinct difference in flavor.
Totally in love with this tea. Steeps very dark, and isn't as prominant of a flavor as the scent in the bag, but still delicious with a little sugar and milk!
Much to my surprise, this tea was very delightful and much worth another purchase. Again, mainly for my pregnant wife, but very enjoyable.

I can't taste the vanilla at all in this tea. I just don't think I like any of the decaf black tea from adagio, they all just taste like the same substandard leaves coated in artificial flavoring.
A nice overall black decaf tea to sit by the fireplace and watch a good movie. Great flavor!
Decaf vanilla has been my long-standing favorite. I have had some batches from other vendors that have been off (they just didn't taste right), but so far every bag I have gotten from Adagio has been perfect.
I love the decaf vanilla its my favorite go to tea when I went something sweet and yummy. Its great alone or used to blend with other flavors to make tasty combos.

For a decaf tea, this was delicious. The vanilla is enough to make it a special drink.
This tea is better than I imagined. I constantly drink it hot with creamer and Splenda. It is surprisingly wonderful iced. I've become a huge fan.
I was a little disappointed with this one because the vanilla is not terribly strong, but it does add a wonderful creaminess when mixed with other flavors

This is my favorite hot decaf tea. I enjoy it with milk. The vanilla flavor is a little on the subtle side, but overall it's a good tea.
Cindy and I both like this. Mixed with the Spiced Decaf you get a nice vanilla chai. Cindy likes it by itself.

I am a green tea drinker trying to quit coffee. I had not been particularly fond of black teas, but I'm glad I tried this one. I love this with cream when I'm craving coffee. The vanilla isn't strong, or fake tasting. It mellows the bitterness I usually encounter with black teas.
Good quality, just make sure you like vanilla! Add a touch of sugar and you have dessert!
Fantastic tea! Extremely mellow. This is my #1 all time favorite tea.
