This one didn't grab me right off, but upon subsequent visitations, I ended up liking it enough to finish off my supply. I will not likely be getting more of it however, not because it was bad -- I just don't think vanilla is a flavor I like by itself with tea.
Just like the regular vanilla only decaf. Great for late nights when you want something different.
When I opened the bag, I was almost overwhelmed by the scent of vanilla frosting. However, the taste and scent of the tea itself is more subtle. I enjoyed this tea with a little milk. It's sweet enough to drink as a substitute for dessert even unsweetened and I like that I can drink it after dinner. I'm eager to try blending it with some other teas I have, but unless I find a knockout blend, I probably won't purchase again.
Very sweet- smells like fresh baked cookies. A good choice for when I want a treat at night.

I was pleasantly surprised by this tea, because I'm not a big fan of Adagio's regular vanilla. This is a smooth tea, no bitterness, with just a note of creamy sweetness. I am going to order a full size so I can drink it regularly!
This is my bedtime tea of choice. It's lightly vanilla-y without becoming overpowering. I put honey and cream in it and sip it from a big cup.

I drink this tea if I want a nice creamy tasting black tea before bed so as not to keep me up.It has a really strong smell before you steep it, smells like microwave buttered popcorn. Weird.

This tea smells so yummy, just like a vanilla cupcake! the taste is, sadly, nothing like a cupcake, but still good. I would recommend it as a great after dinner tea.
I mixed it with the decaf orange which then gave the orange a mild vanilla flavor.

I drank this during my pregnancy. It was flavorful enough that I didn't miss the caffeine, and it didn't give me headaches (as other teas and coffees can do in pregnancy). It has a rich vanilla and black tea flavor that is wonderful in the morning or just after a dinner party (without keeping guests up all night)
This tea was all right, but I thought the regular vanilla black had far more vanilla flavor. It tried blending it with blood orange and that was OK, but once again my favorite Rooibos Vanilla Chai came to the rescue. The extra spice gave it a much better flavor.
Decent, but I need to add a few other decaf options to my selection. Goes good with milk.
This tea was okay. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. I tried it with milk the first time and it kind of tasted like tea with coffee creamer in it. I am gonna try it plain next time I have it and see if there is any improvement.
Smells amazing and leaves a slight (yummy) aftertaste of marshmallows, but I'm having trouble finding a balance between weak and bitter.

I'm not a fan of decaf teas, but I feel the need to find some decaf options for really late nights at the end of a long day. This is one of the only decaf black teas that I found that I enjoy the taste of, it doesn't have that watered down taste that a lot of decafs have.
I drink the decaf vanilla at night, mixed with cream tea, milk & sugar. I can't tell a difference in taste from the regular vanilla. Vanilla smells good, no artificial taste like some vanillas.
A good staple to mix with things. It works well enough on its own too.
A decent vanilla blend. It's bouquet is not as cloying as most vanilla's are, and for that i was grateful; but it's not exactly evocative of vanilla beans, either. I was looking for something a little nuttier, more true to it's roots.
That said, it's not at all a bad brew; far superior to most other vanilla's out there~ major points again, for not pouring on the syrupy-thick artifical scent most tea places do. I also find it difficult at times to find a good variety of decaf flavours, and while vanilla is one of the more common stand bys, it's nice to have a more pleasant option.
I would buy it mainly as a blender for future use; something to mix with a black tea to create a milder brew in terms of caffeine, since there's not many decaf options. If you like vanilla, I think you'll find this one satisfying, but be prepared for a more subtle aroma than Adagio usually has.
Best brewed at 3-4 minutes tops; at near but not actually boiling point. Don't be tempted to brew lengthier times for stronger flavor; add more tea and brew shorter, otherwise it will turn bitter on you.
I expected this tea to be a strong vanilla taste, but it turned out to be a nice mild flavor. The vanilla was just right in its amount, but I think that it might have not been strong enough. I am not sure if it was the decaf part that played a role in that, but overall this is a good relaxing taste.
The flavor is very weak compared with the aroma. Don't steep for more than five minutes because it will be impossible to drink due to bitterness.
The vanilla flavor/smell is very offputting, to me--it has an odd note that is overpowering by itself. Better when mixed with chai.

This is a tea cabinet staple! It's wonderful alone or brewed with mint, decaf peach, decaf strawberry or your other fave decaf blend. It's a nice nighttime treat too.
