This decaf raspberry was a nice refreshing end to the day. The raspberry flavor was not overly strong which was nice at the end of the day.
Rich decaf black tea with playful raspberry. Candy-like aroma, jammy flavor, tangy dry finish, not too 'cheeky.'

This decaf raspberry was a nice refreshing end to the day. The raspberry flavor was not overly strong which was nice at the end of the day.
very nice raspberry flavor :) not much else to say! great option for those who can’t have caffeine
Rich black tea baise with a sublet, sweet raspberry fruit flavor. Like most of the fruit flavored black tea (both decaf and regular) I prefer this one cold brewed.
Not as strong a raspberry flavor as I expected but still a decent decaf tea for those times when caffeinated just isn’t a good idea.
Opening the packet, instantly met with a raspberry aroma. The raspberry was light, so had to sweeten it but overall a decent decaf tea.
CommuniTEA portion: Another nice decaf from Adagio. I went the cold brewed route and it was pretty refreshing. Not my favorite of the flavored decafs but still good.
Good raspberry flavor came through. Brewed at lower temp and for 2-1/2 minutes to avoid bitterness.
This is a very pleasant smooth tea, with no bitterness. Loved the raspberry flavor. Would make a great iced tea and I love that it is decaf. I like caffeine in my coffee in the morning, but not so much in my tea.
My raspberry patch
Brings all the tea to the yard
It’s better than yours
Nice, deep berry taste and makes a wonderful decaffeinated black tea. This tea blends really works well with other teas and makes a great iced tea.
Update: after a year, this is one of my favorite teas and I always keeps some on hand. Love mixing it with other teas as well!
I’m discovering adagio’s flavored decaffs are a no-lose proposal. I have yet to come across one that isn’t amazing, and this was no exception. There was no hint of bitterness from the Ceylon and a tidbit of sweetener was all that was needed to pull forward the raspberry taste. This one is going on the wishlist! Also, I have a need to try and mix this with chocolate tea…
CommuniTEA 4/23/22: well, where's the raspberry flavor? All I'm getting is herbaceous raspberry leaf and mulch. Not bad, but not the candy-like fruit flavor I was expecting from the description.
212 for 3 minutes
An instant favorite! My CommuniTea sample had a strong raspberry scent, and I wear very happy with how strongly the flavor came through as well. I did add some sugar. I'll definitely order more of this tea! 4 mins @ 200F
I cold brewed this tea and totally loved it. Not bitter at all and nice and fruity.
Although I am not a Decaf fan I found this Decaf Raspberry to be delightful. The Ceylon tea adds the needed black tea flavonoids to round out the cuppa. I tasted no astringency from the longer than recommended steep. Great Job, Adagio.
Steeping Notes — 202 degrees for 5+ minutes in my tea traveler, Grandpa Style.
So I made my first trip to Ikea and it worked out with the tea today. The rasp tea goes great with IKEA's Kafferep raspberry shortbread. Tea taste = light raspberry flavor with light black tea flavor (think raspberry whipped egg filling).
I love a good raspberry tea. The raspberry is pretty subtle for me in this one. As always, I wish the fruit flavor was WAY stronger. I did find this one to be oddly bitter, unlike all of the other Adagio decafs that I have sampled, likely due to the raspberry leaves included in the mix which are always quite bitter to me.
Great raspberry flavor without being bitter or too tart. I love that it's decaf.
Enjoying with the CommuniTEA: Lots of ripe red berry fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet.
Once steeped for 3 mins at 190°F (minimize bitter ceylon tea tannins), I noticed a stronge raspberry scent from my cup, when I take a sip, the raspberry is more subtle with slightly sour berry fruit finish.
I liked this tea and found it to be a good sip with breakfast. I know others have found the tea flavor a little light and some commented on a bit of bitterness. I also enjoy more flavorful fruit teas but for me, this had enough flavor to go with a meal. I am sensitive to the bitterness in some teas but I had absolutely no problems with this blend, even after it had cooled off. If I was enjoying a sip in the afternoon perhaps I would feel differently. I think it would be too delicate of a flavor to have iced, but perhaps if it was brewed double strength and served with minimal ice, it would be great!
Really enjoyed this one! Fruity but still balanced, not bitter, quite tasty. Added a touch of monkfruit sweetener and steeped for 3 minutes.
Update 4/23/22 I enjoyed this hot last evening. Love having a black tea to enjoy at night . I definitely taste more berry drinking it this way. My previous review was for cold brew. Good both ways. Upgraded to 5 stars
The aroma from the packet was fruity and reminded me of raspberry jello. ( which I like btw) I cold brewed over night. There is a faint raspberry taste and made a good iced tea. If I had more to drink, I would add something to it next time to make it a bit more flavorful. Nice sip for a decaf.
The raspberry flavor isn't super strong on this one, but there is still a pleasant fruity taste in my cup that balances well with the black tea.
I am enjoying the decaf once in a while, its nice to have a black tea before bed and the flavored teas lend themselves well to the decafs as well. This one had subtle raspberry flavor, they nearly got lost somehow, still a good cup of tea but I much prefer the raspberry green.
A nice black tea with a very strong taste of raspberries! I appreciate that these decaf teas taste close to their caffeinated counterparts so I can enjoy them in the evening.
UPDATED from 6/7/21 There is the sweet smell of raspberries as the CommuniTea packet opens. It steeps (at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness) into a deep, richly dark amber. The raspberry flavor is the guest of honor, with the ceylon as the perfect hostess. The tart raspberry leaves provide the perfect entertainment. This tea is great, but with ¼ teaspoon of Truvia sweetener (to 10 oz cup) the raspberry becomes more dominant, and the tart flavor politely moves to the finish. Adding heavy whipping cream makes the blend smooth and gives the tea more of a creamy fruitinessl. In warmer weather, pouring this over ice makes for a lovely summer ice tea: refreshing and with a bit of fun tartness. The second steep is not as dark yet yummy raspberry flavors are still bold, and NO CAFFEINE! (5 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener).
Strong raspberry smell and taste. It makes a nice cold tea for hot weather.
Very pleasant black tea with a wonderfully refreshing, but not overpowering, raspberry aroma and flavor. Plus the added benefit of being decaffeinated!
Strong raspberry aroma was present on opening the packet. The first taste made me smile. The raspberry flavor was delicious. Unfortunately a bitterness came through near the end of my cup. Still a pretty good blend.
Perfectly balanced tea! This is my go to decaf from now on!
Happy to find Adagio teas. This morning I am enjoying a cup of decaf raspberry. It’s very tasty. It has a great raspberry taste and the black tea compliments it.
I love this tea mixed equally with Decaf Hazelnut Cin in the afternoons or evening.
Raspberry flavor is an all time favorite for me in general and this does not disappoint.
This is my husbands favorite tea. It is smooth with a strong raspberry flavor, its a bit much for me but he loves it.
This tea has a nice raspberry flavor. It is distinct from blueberry or strawberry. @adagioteas
Wonderful tea on a Chilly Raining Day. Would Recommend.
I need to avoid caffeine and I do love my tea. This is the perfect afternoon tea to have during your work break, especially with a bit of dark chocolate.
this is a yummy, fruity tea for black tea drinkers who want something light and without caffeine. I drink this sugar, no milk.
Kinda plain, good tea but it’s kinda one note (obviously it’s raspberry) but there wasn’t much tea taste to it.
If you find the caffeinated flavored teas too bitter, I would suggest trying the decaf versions. They have the flavor of the regular ceylon teas, but without the bite. This one is smooth with a sweet, raspberry finish. It smells stronger than it actually tastes so don't expect an intense raspberry flavor. It's a gentle flavor that's still potent enough to be satisfying. I particularly enjoy this one cold brewed.
Definite raspberry taste with no caffeine is great.
This is the absolute best raspberry black tea I've been able to find anywhere. Strong, but not overwhelming flavor. It's just perfect! Great hot and as an iced tea.
I really appreciate a decaf-flavored tea. Tastes great! Will order again.
We have really been loving this brewed into iced tea. The raspberry flavor is distinct and refreshing.
Good flavored tea with the hint of raspberry for a morning start without the caffeine!
Tried this on a whim but it's becoming one of my staple 'office' teas. A little sweet, a little sour, and the fruit flavor is balanced with the ceylon.
First time trying this tea! It was good but it didn’t jump out at me. It had a different taste that I’m not sure I like. Next batch I brew, I may not steep it as long and see if that makes a difference.
Very good, lots of raspberry flavor. Like it with a twist of lime or lemon.
Dry tea smells like raspberries, which was expected, but surprisingly with a bit of chocolate scent as well, like a chocolate covered raspberry. When brewed, the resulting cup is a medium dark brown with a light raspberry scent. When hot, the raspberry flavor is barely noticeable through with the bright Ceylon base, although there was a bit of bitterness in the finish from the raspberry leaf. As the tea cools, the bitterness fades, and the raspberry becomes more dominant to become a more fruity cup of black tea. The raspberry does not become overwhelming, but is more on the subtle side. I was a bit disappointed that the scent in the dry tea did not translate to the cup, since the chocolate notes would have gone well with it. The decaffeination process does not inhibit the taste of the Ceylon that I can tell. Brewed for 3 minutes at 200.
It’s so nice to be able to have black tea later in the day and not worry about caffeine. This raspberry decaf is currently my favorite of the decaffeinated Ceylon options. Steeped at 195F for 4min, there is no bitterness and the raspberry flavor pulls through nicely. It’s not overpowering, cloying, or artificial. I do personally prefer adding rock sugar, which in this case highlights the mellow quality of the decaffeinated black and rounds out the raspberry.
