Decaf Raspberry Customer Reviews

Rich decaf black tea with playful raspberry. Candy-like aroma, jammy flavor, tangy dry finish, not too 'cheeky.'

had some elderberries i added to my packet, just because i'm not crazy about plain raspberry. Good fruity cup, if youre a raspberry fan!

12/10/23 - Today's communiTEA sample was delicious. This batch of Ceylon tea is very smooth and tasty without a hint of bitterness and just the right touch of astringency. The blend has a sweet aroma and flavor of ripe raspberries. A lovely evening tea.

6/7/21 - Nice raspberry aroma and taste. The Ceylon tea was too bitter and astringent for my taste though, even brewed at a lower temperature.

Wonderful combo of raspberry and black tea that I can drink before bed. The blueberry and strawberry are still winning, as far as my favorite decafs I’ve tried in CommuniTEA, but this is pretty delicious.

Raspberry is one of my favorite flavors so this blend is alright with me hot or cold. The fact that this is a decaf version makes it great to drink at any time of day.

I like this one better iced so it is more of a summer tea for me.

I’m not a huge fan of the decaf, but it’s still a nice fruity flavor.

A nice tea, but lighter on the raspberry flavor than I would prefer.
Always good to have a decaf option
though. I do think it's better as an iced tea than hot; the ice coaxed out more of the fruitiness.

This is a delicious decaf tea. The Ceylon isn’t too much to overpower the raspberry and the raspberry doesn’t taste artificial like some other berry flavored teas. It’s a perfect, cozy blend that won’t keep you up at night.

Oh Raspberry tea, how do I love thee!
You wake me up so cheerfully!
Or allow me to relax and close my eyes.
And you pair so well with cookies and pies!

Raspberry is good for you, you know it's true!
If I were a pirate you would be on my crew!
We would sail the seas and bring joy to the earth!
We would have a blast! Singing shanties/bringing mirth.

Together we would rule the seas,
Drinking as much tea as we please.
Who can be angry with a jammy tea,
We could rule the lands, you and me!

Strong smell of ripe raspberries coming from my packet as I open it. Once brewed, you get a full body tea with no astringency. Once brewed, I was surprised that the forefront flavor was tart and tangy flavor of the raspberry leaves and the sweet flavor of the raspberries was more on the background, needing a little push from my sweetener to come to the front. Once that was remedied, it was perfect!

A great afternoon tea to have after a heavy meal. I always need something sweet after eating and if I'm too full this does just the trick. Tart and sweet

My favorite! I love black tea, but can't tolerate caffeine. This gives me a little change from the fruity ones

This is a nice decaf option with a light raspberry flavor. I myself would prefer the flavor to be a bit stronger.

While I like this warm, I drank it iced all summer and really enjoyed it that way. Smells wonderfully of raspberry, the flavor could be stronger.

Updated 8/7/23 - I also brewed this tea hot and found it to be good but not quite as tasty as it was when cold brewed. I added some raw honey to enhance the flavors. I had an early morning appointment today so no time for steeping this tea. I cold brewed it for about 12 hours in 8 ounces of water. It was deliciously raspberry scented and flavorful tea. Very refreshing!

THis is a very flavorful decaf tea we drink it hot and also use it to make ice tea in the summer. It is a family favorite

A nice fruity tea that won't keep you awake. Goes well with milk and can work iced. The fruity flavor is not overwhelming and tea flavor doesn't overpower the fruit.

Decaf Raspberry is Everything!! It's good on it's own...or wondrous in blends. Decaf Razz is probably my fav Adagio Decaf. Its truly outta this world. Add a bit of sweetener of your choice to enhance and make the flavor pop! Its far better than the straight up caffeinated Raspberry option, actually!!!

I have a passion for flavored black teas, but a relatively low tolerance for caffeine. This decaf blend of raspberry black tea is just the ticket! All the flavor and decadence of the caffeinated version without the jitters. I love this tea for a later afternoon treat or an evening wind down.

Decaf raspberry is probably the best so far. It has a great scent and taste of raspberry without being overbearing. Definitely buying again.

The Raspberry offers a fruity taste that is great anytime of day. I let mine seep for 2-3 min to enjoy hot, but it also has wonderful flavor when cold.

Raspberry is always a great standard. I love the variety of caffeine free teas. I can only have these for medical reasons. It is difficult to find wonderfully tasting caffeine free teas!

Good, but not great, a bit too strong for my liking. Maybe use less tea or delude with water. Tasted better cold rather than hot.

Nice fruit flavor and being decaf I can drink it in the evening

This tea is weaker than Adagio's regular raspberry, both in terms of tea taste and berry flavor. When I brew 2 tsp of tea in one cup of spring water for 5 minutes, I just begin to get the flavor profile which I like from the regular tea. It definitely wouldn't stand up to cream or sugar. I understand that decaf teas will be weaker than regular teas, and I am happy to have something I can drink late at night, and this one is pretty good for a decaf tea. It just isn't the same as regular raspberry, and I do feel like the flavor could be stronger overall.

I was surprised how much I like this tea event though it is decaf. I don't normally like decaf teas but this one is flavorful and strong enough to be combined with a teaspoon of one of the chocolate teas available from Adagio to make a tea that reminds me of a chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Excellent tea and good for combining with other flavored teas.

Very light. Lovely raspberry aroma, but I kept thinking I'd understeeped it, even when I was careful with the timing.

Opening the packet reminded me of my grandma's raspberry jam with it's fruity smell! The tea itself is nice, not bitter from the ceylon and not tart without sweetener

Nice decaf tea but I wish the raspberry was a little stronger. I had it hot, and it was a little bitter. I added a little cream and sugar and that helped tremendously. A cold brew might be nice with this one too.

This is a delicious decaf tea, once soymilk was added. There's just a hint of raspberry, which nicely complements the decaf ceylon. It's not too sweet, which I appreciate.

Today's CommuniTea packet is decaf raspberry, made with decaf ceylon tea, raspberry flavor, raspberries and raspberry leaves. I love raspberries and this one smells great in the packet and your cup, but the aroma of raspberries is a little stronger than the actual taste of raspberries. It's a good decaf blend, but not necessarily the best of Adagio's decafs. Steeped in 12 ounces of 200-degree water for just shy of three minutes.

Adagio's decaf black teas are wonderful and this raspberry blend is no exception. I steeped at 195F x 3 minutes. The tea is fruity with no bitterness or astringency. Good without sweetener, hot or iced, and resteeps well. Great caffeine-free alternative.

This sip has bountiful, juicy raspberry flavor on the back end, however, it begins with flat, unimpressive black tea flavors. Something about this one just didn't work - could be the black tea and berry combo, which I'm not always in favor of.
