We bought this as a good to serve iced as the weather turns warmer, but the last few weeks we've been enjoying it on colder nights with a little sugar and milk and it's been great!
Rich decaf black tea with playful raspberry. Candy-like aroma, jammy flavor, tangy dry finish, not too 'cheeky.'

Adagio's raspberry teas are so, so good and Decaf Raspberry is no exception. I sip tea every evening -and it must be either decaf or herbal as I am caffeine sensitive. I am so glad to have a decaf option available in my tea cupboard.
This tea could use a little more natural raspberry flavor. The flavor that is there is mild, but as others have mentioned, there is something a little off with the taste.
Their decaf black tea just isn’t up to par. There isn’t a strong tea taste and I don’t like the artificial taste of this one.
Updated review: I brewed for just 2 minutes this time and found that both prevented the bitter and I tasted the raspberry more. I still would prefer not to have the raspberry leaves, which the CT community taught me can be bitter, and would like to see a honeybush or rooibos version as they are more forgiving if you brew longer than intended.
Light raspberry flavor, very nice for relaxing with no caffeine
When I poured the tea into the tea bag to brew in, it smelled strongly of raspberries. How interesting then, when I tasted the brewed tea that the taste of raspberries was subtle. I added sugar. Brewed at 212F for 3 minutes.
I love raspberry. This Decaf tea was a real treat. I hot steeped this sample pkt. but would love to try a cold steep as well. The raspberry really stands out for me.I didn't get any bitterness. I did not add sweetener, but I am interested in trying a touch of sweetener to see if it enhances the berry flavor. I am truly impressed by this blend. Many other raspberry tea blends from other brands have been a big turn off for me so I stopped drinking raspberry teas. This is a Great tea here. I plan to buy this when it's in stock.
I enjoyed this one a lot, there was still a hint of bitterness, but, since I steeped it at a lower temperature, it was a lot better, I’m sure. The flavor was very fruity and tasted just as good as it smelled, and actually tasted of raspberry, not just fruit. I would like to try this iced as well. I would definitely get this tea again.
195* for 3 minutes
I read reviews and added cream and sugar even after tasting it and liking it. Sometimes we make dumb decisions. I prefer it brewed with nothing in it. The stars are for the tea without anything.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F, Second cup for 3 min @ 195. I think it's better if you steep this tea at a cooler temperature. Ceylon and raspberry leaves both are prone to getting bitter when they're at 212. There is a bit of a raspberry aftertaste that I enjoy, but otherwise the tea is a little bit bitter and artificial tasting. When it's steeped at 195, it's much less bitter, much more tolerable in general. Less raspberry comes out, but you still get some fruitiness, and there still is some flavor to it.
A smooth sipper, without being too tangy or bitter.
Refreshing raspberry tea without the jitters. Bright and lovely.
Wow! Just... wow! It must be very flavorful if I can still taste how sweet and fruity it is when I have a miserable cold! This really hits the spot. Fruit flavors complement the light Ceylon very well.
I love raspberry so this was an easy like. It's definitely a smooth raspberry flavor while hot and not overpowering at all. I think the berry flavor would probably come out more if I went the iced route which I may do in the future as I bet it is amazing. I did not add anything to the cup and had a nice mellow raspberry flavored black tea, simple and delicious. 212° 3min
Received as a CommuniTea portion packet. I didn't think I was going to like this one, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This would make possibly the perfect iced tea! I added soy milk after tasting, simply because that is how I prefer my black teas, and enjoyed every sip. Very smooth, fruit and malt are perfectly blanced by a gentle bright note that avoids being acidic (I hate tart). I wish it were in stock so I could order more right now! Steeped 3 minutes at 212 F.
This is one of our favorite teas for making iced tea. We have a rotation of flavors we go through, but raspberry gets brewed the most frequently.
When I want something reminiscent of my beloved Amortentia, but not as decadent, and later in the evening, I reach for this decaffeinated beauty. The black tea is rich and full, and the raspberry adds an earthy blush. I enjoy mine with a touch of vanilla soy milk.
This is a great tea. I mixed it with the chocolate truffle to have it taste like a chocolate covered raspberry
I love fruit flavored teas, so this fits the bill plus it is decaf so I can have it in the afternoon. It's almost as good as strawberry.
Delicate and fruity--tastes as good as it smells! It is tart but not overly so. I will definitely order again.
This is a lovely tea for late afternoon when a cup of black tea with a touch of fruity flavor sounds amazing but it’s a bit late to add caffeine to the mix. Very nice!
Yet another excellent iced tea, especially when paired with raspberry patch
Decaf Raspberry is a staple in our household. It has the honor of being one of the flavors that both Steve and I enjoy and it tastes yummy hot and cold. Thanks Adagio for making decaf tea accessible and delicious too. =)
Delightful black raspberry tea. It was a positive that it was decaf. It would make a incredible iced tea.
Nice decaf option. I wish the flavor profile was a little stronger but still a great base for a tea and good flavor.
I Loved the tea. Wonderful raspberry aroma when steeped …was not bitter. A mild raspberry flavour and delightful with a little honey.
This decaf raspberry is just as good as its caffeinated counterpart. Unlike many fruit teas, which lack the natural tartness that balances the sugars in real fruit, raspberry teas successfully mimic that sweet-tart flavor. On the darker, deeper Ceylon base, this balance brings lift and brightness. Delicious hot and gently sweetened, this would be good cold, too. The raspberry can be both the star and a supporting player, bringing a pleasant fruitiness to blends. And since this version is decaf, there's really no limit to its versatility. (4 minutes @ 212F)
Update 5/17/24: I added another star because this tastes better cold brewed or mixed into a blend.
Today's communiTEA smells great, but lacks flavor. The decaf raspberry was a little bitter with a hint of raspberry flavor.
Nice decaf option, I just wish the raspberry was a bit stronger. This one is very refreshing cold brewed and on ice.
Great, natural raspberry flavor, so good cold brewed with a hit of sweetener. Love that it’s decaf, so I’ve got an all-day drink.
One of my new favorites. I brewed this cup on its own first, then blended it with my usual black tea (Red Rose) for work. So delicious, sweet, and smooth, with a bold black tea flavor under raspberry.
I'm not much of a fan of raspberry flavors, fresh fruit or otherwise. I tried this tea just to try it. It just reminded me that I don't care for raspberry anything. Maybe I would like it better in a blend with something like vanilla, cream, caramel?
Didn’t get the raspberry flavor. Good tea otherwise but nothing memorable.
Oh my what a wonderfully delightful tea! Paired with chocolate chip and a little honey… heaven in a cup!!
Great tea when you want something sweet. It's a good after dinner tea, relaxing on the couch. Best part is, it won't keep you up at night!
5/5 Decaf Raspberry: A delightful fusion of tart raspberries and soothing decaf tea. Refreshing and aromatic, this blend offers a burst of fruity flavor without the caffeine. Perfect for unwinding in the evening or enjoying anytime
Wonderful, burst of raspberry flavor. Great for iced tea.
Just as good as the non decaf version. It's a nice alternative for winding down later in the day. I've had to cut back on caffeine recently and am very pleased to have found a decaf tea with so much flavor. Makes a great hot mug or iced glass of tea!
Smells amazing and tastes wonderful! This is now one of my favorites. I love the taste and the smell.
It's raspberry and it's decaf. I love that this is a option. Really great combined with some decaf cream.
This had a very mild, yet enjoyable flavour profile for me. I usually don’t mind the caffeine aspect in teas, so this is a great alternative to suggest to a friend!
Points for being decaf. Tastes like an improved version of regular raspberry. Adagio suffers from the fact that black tea with raspberry, like peach, has been done to death. There is not much to differetiate...that said, this is clean and good.
Light raspberry aroma from the packet. 2 min @ 165. Mild raspberry taste, no bitterness or astringency. Resteep 2 min @ 165 still had light raspberry taste. I'm beginning to appreciate the fruity decaf black teas.
After reading a few reviews and some posts, I decided to mix the decaf raspberry with the advent pull of decaf cream, What a splendid blend and a really nice night time sip. The cream really brought out the raspberry, so good.
Flavored Ceylon in general just tends to taste like the flavor plus tea, which is indeed what this one tastes like, raspberry tea. It's a very good choice for when you're in the mood for raspberry, but unless you are then you shouldn't drink it. It's still pretty great for what it is, but I guess today I was in the mood for like...an extra zing to the raspberry flavor that this just didn't produce. Not that it was bad, it just wasn't what I wanted today.
Smells strongly of raspberry while dry, but isn't overbearing once brewed. It's pleasantly tart and I didn't get much bitterness. I added a bit of sugar.
The raspberry flavor is subtle and remains a pleasant scent once brewed. 212F 3 min loose in cup. I like how it’s just a hint and doesn’t punch you in the face with the fruit because sometimes you want that softer flavor.
This tea has a nice raspberry flavor and isn’t too bitter.
Nice light raspberry flavor. It was a good choice for evening sip
