Received this in the communiTEA packet. Wasn't sure how to rate this one. I really love mango and didn't get much mango flavor. I did get a generic fruity flavor but even more, it tastes floral to me. I happen to really like that but others may not. Overall a nice surprise of flavors and love that it was decaf too.

Such a nice soft flavor of mango makes this tea so sippable. The Ceylon tea base is smooth and even, thanks to the natural decaffeination process Adagio uses. This is yet another fruity decaf of theirs that I’ve come to love. The mango flavor is not as distinct tasting as the orange and apricot flavors but is more subtle, casual and perfect for lazy day sipping.

What a happy discovery to find no bitterness and virtually no astringency after an unintentional extra minute of brewing. I aimed for 3 minutes at 212F but pulled the steep at 4 minutes. The 12 oz. I brewed was still delicious tasting and had no hallmarks of an over brewed tea. A resteep of 8 oz. was flavorful and enjoyable too. I like to sweeten tea with honey and sweetening brightens the mango flavor more. I chilled some of this sweetened first steep and it made such wonderful and tasty iced tea. The mini cup I made of it was gone in a flash.

This is my first mango flavored tea and I’m glad to have sampled such a good one through CT today. My packet had 3 g/ 2 tsp of dark tea leaves, a couple of mango flavored apple pieces and a nice smattering of marigold flowers which brewed into a medium brown colored liquor. This gentle mango tea was a great way to enjoy some mango flavor without all the fuss. And tea is always in season.

Trying along with the ComminuTEA today: Lots of perfumy mango scents wafting from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190° F (to minimize astringent black tea tannins), I notice mango and vanilla-honey ceylon tea notes from my cup. When I take a sip, I enjoy a strong mango flavor with creamy vanilla essence coming through. The Adagio description is spot on for this tea today.

I'm never impressed by the decaf ceylon base. This was overall pleasant, but the mango was more smell than taste for me as I tried not to overbrew.

Maybe it's because I didn't steep this at a lower temperature than instructed by the CommuniTEA packet, or maybe it's because I saw maybe one apple piece and zero mango pieces in said packet, but I did not taste any mango in this at all. It wasn't BAD, because I like Ceylon black tea, but it definitely didn't taste like mango to me, like at all. I will say that I liked it better as it cooled.

Received today as part of the Communitea pack. I was initially pleasantly surprised with the nose and it smelled exactly like the mango tea that comes with the Tropical Tea sampler pack. However, once brewed only produced a neutral mango fruity flavor at the back of the palete. It could be possible that my sample in the Communitea pack may have been lacking more mango pieces, but overall the tea was lovely. I will update my review the next time I taste!

Brewed at 212*F for 3 minutes per sample pack instructions. Slightly sweetened.

15 June 2021 update to my previous communiTEA review below: The mango flavors came through very well, as I steeped it at 190°F this time so the tea didn’t overpower the mango. Plus, there were plenty of mango and apple pieces to distribute the sprayed on mango flavoring, which helped. This one is the epitome of a mango flavored black tea blend, and it’s a tasty decaf ta’ boot!

14 June 2020 review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice mango aromas in the bag. However, upon steeping, the mango flavors and tastes were barely noticed in the cup. Decaf Ceylon is my go-to caffeine-free tea and it didn’t disappoint. Just wish that the mango was a little stronger. (4 mins @ 200F, 1/4 tsp sugar)

I love the mango flavor in this black tea. And I also love that it's a decaf!

I wasn't too impressed with this tea. I really wanted to like it, but I thought that the mango flavor was too weak. I tried the second cup cold to see if the flavor would become stronger but it was a similarly mild mango tasting experience.

This mango Ceylon blend is very smooth and the mango is not overpowering. I will definitely be buying some more of this!

When the tea packet was opened a delicious fruity smell was present. The decaf Ceylon was nice and mellow without any bitterness. The mango flavor seemed more like a peachy flavor to my palate than mango. It was a delicious smooth cup of tea.

Mangos 🥭 are my favorite fruit so this is definitely a nice cup of tea for me! I love that it’s decaf so it won’t keep me awake at all before bed.

The packet smells amazing, and the tea is good, but it's not amazing. I cold-brewed it, and it's definitely better than it would have been hot, in my opinion. Not really memorable, though.

As others have said, it's just okay. Basic black tea with very subtle mango flavor. But salvageable with a ton of heavy cream and stevia!

Mmmmm! I wasn't sure how much I was going to like mango flavored tea, but the lovely aroma coming from my CommuniTea packet changed my mind. Brewed 212F, 3 minutes. The sweet aroma and flavor of mango is present, but light enough to blend with the flavor of the black tea and not overpower it. Not too sweet - just right. Nice to have a fruity tea that is not on the tart side, but more sweet. And glad it's decaf so I could sip at 1 am and not worry about being able to go back to sleep :) Lovely tea!

It's an enjoyable blend, but like a few other reviewers, I found the mango flavor tough to identify. It came through more once chilled, but overall I think this could just a tad more mango.

Great mango flavor without the caffine. No chemical or artificial taste. I brew both regular and decaffeinated mango. I cannot taste any difference. This is refreshing ice tea option.

The mango flavor comes through even though the tea is very mild tasting. Another benefit is that it is decaffeinated!

A fruity after-dinner tea. It tastes somewhat like mango, but not perfectly. I like this one slightly less than the Decaf Orange.

Love this as an ice tea! Dr said I needed to cut down on caffeine (boooo!). Pleasantly surprised didn’t notice a difference with other Mango tea available on Adagio. New weekly brew for me.

This flavor is *not* mango. The fruit flavor in this and many Adagio teas reminds me of the flavoring they use in hard candy and cheap soda; even though I know it's not artificial flavor, it still tastes kind of fake. It's just not good.

I really have enjoyed this tea; I am only giving it 4 stars because it isn't my favorite of the Adagio teas. It is exactly as described however, and as a mango tea it is 5 star.

This tea just didn't do it for me. I would have rated it 2 stars but I am pretty picky and others might like it. To me the flavor was a bit artificial.

I've experienced all your decaf teas. I enjoyed all. They use a water decaf process and not a chemical process and it makes a difference. I find these decaf teas just as enjoyable & flavorful as the regular counterpart. I do NOT find them weak. It's nice to enjoy these teas in the evening without worrying about the caffeine. There are subtle differences between this and the decaf apricot & decaf peach. The mango pieces and flavors bring out the natural fruit flavor. The mango flavor enhances the black tea without coming on too strong. For those who like a stronger flavor add more tea and some sweetener. I do not recommend adding time because black teas in particular can become overly astringent or bitter.

This is a decent option when you're looking for something with some sweetness, but without the caffeine. I was looking for a decaf version of a mango tea from Tea & Spice, and while this doesn't really hit the mark, I've enjoyed drinking it.

The decaf mango had a mild, pleasant mango scent and taste. I wouldn't recommend adding half n' half to decaf mango or any of the decaf fruity teas, because the cream and milk tends to hide the fruity taste and the taste of black tea.
