Of all the tea samplers I’ve tried over the years, this is definitely in the top three. Heavenly. Loved the decadent creamy flavor that is NOT artificial tasting! Went amazing with a touch of creamer. Great dessert finisher for the evening. Will try the full sized version in my next order.
This is a delicious and creamy tea. I can imagine it would blend well with many other teas, but it’s also good by itself. What an enjoyable sip this morning!

As others have noted, this has a cream flavor with no bitterness. Just personal preference, I’d rather drink the regular cream tea.
I don't usually drink this on its own; I love blending it with other teas, especially earl grey. By itself, it's a bit on the mild side, but I can appreciate a decaf on a rainy day. The cream flavor does taste like one of those coffee creamers, but still a good cup of comfort.
I love opening this bag. The smell punches you in the face in the best way possible. It smells like a hug! The taste lives up to the anticipation and is smooth and creamy, without the astringency that can be present in the full caf counterpart. Like all of adagio's decaf flavor options, I prefer this one to its traditional full caf counterpart. Not only does it have the benefit of tasting better, but I can drink it any time of day or night! Win Win!
Smooth and delicious is right. A simple black tea with just the right amount of cream and none of the caffeine.
This tea was just so warm and inviting. Several people have said it reminds them of cake and I would have to agree. Like a warm pound cake. It's such a nice flavor to enjoy before going to bed. It gives you that warm and deliciously full in the belly feeling.
Excellent tea. Way better than their regular cream tea. Tastes like vanilla frosting in a cup. I will get more of this.
Not my favorite, but not horrible. Cream flavor with tea that is not bitter. Could drink again...probably won't.
Today's CommuniTea packet is decaf cream with decaf ceylon tea, creme flavor and white cornflowers. Like it's full-caf brother, I prefer cream tea in blends, where it really shines, giving a smoothness to almost anything it augments. I mixed it with decaf blueberry, and it made a lovely blueberries and cream pot of tea. Really nice! Blended with 2 teaspoons of decaf blueberry in about 28 ounces of 190-degree water for about two and a half minutes.
Today's CommuniTEA is Decaf Cream (4-14-23). Upon opening my packet, I had a fantastic amount of all ingredients. I made it hot with some milk thistle and manuka honey. In my opinion, the Decaf Cream tastes so much better than the regular Cream! There's no overwhelming flavor of tannins, it doesn't oversteep easily, and has a much more natural creamy flavor, rather than artificial. I really loved this tea and would highly recommend it!
Holy cannolli! This absolutely, 100 percent tastes like cake in a cup! I appreciate a good decaf as someone who must limit caffeine and this one can join my tea party any day! It’s a basic, straightforward cup of goodness! Add some sweetener and it’s a delight. Happy Sipping!
In the bag: Mainly the short, brittle, black leaves of ceylon. Plenty of white cornflowers bring streaks of pale yellow.
On the nose (pre-steep): Strong scent of cream with hints of vanilla and sugar. Reminds me of Devonshire cream.
On the nose (post-steep): Still a clear aroma of sweet cream with a vanilla accent. Clean nose feel. Mild.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): The cream and vanilla flavors are more mild here than on the nose. They're balanced by unsweetened cocoa. A hint of astringency.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener helps to accentuate the cream flavor.
Opinion: A delicious tea. The vanilla and cream play well with the unsweetened chocolate. The hint of astringency adds structure. I could quaff this or savor its layers.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
This is such a delightful tea! I love how the sweet, creamy flavor compliments the black tea base so well. Plus it’s decaf, which is a nice bonus for when I want to cut back on caffeine.
CommuniTEA Sample: A nice tea that has a bit of creaminess, but isn't going to be a daily drinker for me. It is a great blending tea and does well when mixing with others. Not a bad tea, but not really a special one either.
Cake, anyone? Decaf cream for sure smells like birthday cake and luscious, farm-fresh cream. The palate is more subdued, but still gives a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. I can see why it's incorporated into so many blends. I'm thoroughly enjoying it on its own as well, though! Steeped 3 min @ 195º.
I usually blend Cream tea with other teas...adds a sweet cream taste to fruity or spice teas. But, I did drink this by itself...very nice, smooth and basic. Really nice for when you want a simple cup of tea, and not something where the flavor is in your face. Loved it!
I don't normally need decaf, but it is nice to know that this one is available without sacrificing flavor. It's a quality one, goes great with everything - I think it's especially nice to cut suuuper floral ones just a smidge.

I mixed the orange from yesterday with the decaf cream from today = amazing.
The smell and flavor reminds me of vanilla frosting a bit! It makes for a wonderful addition in a lot of tea blends, but it's pretty nice as a sweet dessert-type tea on its own.
Very much enjoy this tea, and love all the decaf options, like most of them taste better then their caffeinated counterparts, enjoy mixing this tea with other fruity decafs.
The white cornflower was a beautiful addition to this blend. Wonderful sweet cream aromas were noted in my communiTEA packet.
I had 3.22 grams of ingredients, enough for a 13 ounce steep. I steep all my Adagio decaf black teas at 200°F, this one being no exception. I steeped for three minutes.
When hot, mild and clean black tea flavors were noted. Cream flavors were mild. I added ¼ teaspoon of sugar to sweeten and enhance the cream flavoring.
When warm, absolutely no bitterness was noted. All the way to finish, tasty sugar cookie flavors were noted. An appropriate and acceptable amount of astringency was noted towards finish.
I wouldn’t have known that I was drinking a decaf unless the website stated such. This blend was a bright and clean tasting decaf black tea with an exceptional creamy flavor! It would be great for adding to my decaf strawberry, mango, orange and apricot black teas. An outstanding stand-alone relaxing sip indeed! (3 mins @ 200ºF, ¼ tsp sugar)
This was a very solid decaf flavor, but not my favorite. The cream flavor was slightly chemically to me which I didn't enjoy; however, blended with other teas like decaf blueberry, the flavor become more pleasant. I guess I do like this flavor - just not on its own
I bought a sample of this for trying in the evenings, for when I'm in the mood for tea but not herbals. Normally both natural and artificial flavorings taste too cloying and artificial for me, so this was a bit of a risk. I find that the cream flavoring does have an almost artificial note, but it's growing on me. Reminds me of the frosting on cinnamon rolls, or a bottle of cream soda.
I really like how mellow this tea is. I drink it in the evenings when I want something with a little more body than the herbals I typically drink later in the day, and it hits the spot.
Hands down, this is the most delicious decaffeinated black tea that I have ever tasted!! So decadent and rich, it makes a wonderful tea for the evening. I will definitely be ordering more of this blend.

This is pretty mild flavored. I couldn't taste much cream and the tea itself isn't as flavorful as I'd hoped.
The caffeinated Cream black tea is key to smoothing out certain blends, which makes the Decaf Cream a great addition!! Love having the option to keep a home DIY blend low or no caff and still be able to add Cream black tea. Once in a while I enjoy the Cream black tea on its own with a little honey, and feel the same about the decaf version. Yay for Decaf Cream!
Cream has been a dear friend’s favorite tea for years. We’re delighted it’s available in decaf now, and I think we may like the flavor of the decaf version even better!
I love this tea for those nights where I crave tea & cookies, but am trying to wind down -- or just an afternoon where I'm trying to cut back on caffeine intake for the day. Tastes great alone or with a splash of oat milk (half & half also works if I'm feeling ~decadent~) and a little bit of sugar.
I bought this one with the intention to blend it with some other herbal or decaf teas. My daughters gave it a try solo today and they let me try it as well. It was very enjoyable, tastes the same as the fully leaded version. :)
I add this tea to other decaf teas like the Decaf Chocolate Truffle to add a more robust malt flavor to it. Bottom line, this tea is good on its own and as an addition to other black teas.

This one is pretty good. Smells really nice when you open the bag, vanilla comes through. Tastes like creamy vanilla, good on its own but I'll probably use this as a creme component to other teas that I want to taste creamy
Just as advertised: a sweet, creamy flavor along with a tasty black tea that has no bitterness and just the right amount of astringency.
Bought this to mix with other teas when I don't want to be buzzing off the walls from caffiene. I love the smell, very sweet and plays really well with other teas to highten other sweet flavors. This is definitely going to be one of my new 'staple' teas that will always be stocked at my tea station.
This is better than decaf vanilla. A deeper flavor that reminds me of vanilla caramels or light butterscotch/vanilla chocolate flavor.
I like this a lot more than I thought I would. The cream flavor wasn’t too sweet or fake. It is good with and without sweetener and no milk was needed for a pleasant creamy taste.

I like this one OK but for me it is a never more than 1 cup flavor. Unlike many others here where I tend to make whole pots for just me.
I steep this pretty long and add some oat milk and honey. Pretty good, though steeping a long time does make the black tea a bit stronger.
Adagio does decaf right. No weird, off flavors. Just good tea that you would never guess was decaf. This is just as good as its caffeinated counterpart. Yummy black tea with a lovely sweet aroma and a hint of soft, cream flavor.
I was excited about trying this one, but it missed the boat for me. I steeped for the correct amount of minutes and anticipated a great experience. It was...okay. But in these days of rising costs and limited funds, it wasn't good enough to make the cut for a re-buy.
