Delicious. I have been tasting samples of different decaf teas each time I place an order. The cloves are pretty prominent. It has plenty of spice. Very happy with that one!

Unfortunately this Chai wasn't for me. Too clove forward for me to smell or taste anything but cloves. I'll have to try some other chai blends to see if they're more mellow on the cloves.

I've gradually been trying the different chai teas and really enjoying the blends of spices and I think the base ceylon tea is very good. Decaf means I can enjoy this in the evening too

My favorite tea by far! I was looking for a decaf chai for a long time and did not like store bought decaf chai. This is perfect.

★★★☆☆

I love chai! Especially with some milk and a little sweetener. I always double the recommended amount of tea for a stronger brew. I think there could be a little more cinnamon among the flavors but overall very nice! Update: as I have continued to drink tea, it has just not been my go to chai.

This is a good chai, but I still prefer the oolong chai. This seemed to have more spice flavor than the regular black tea chai, but less than the oolong. That being said, it is nice to have a decaf chai. I prefer with non dairy milk and a bit of sweetener.

This just didn't cut it for me. I expected more spice and more sweetness from a Chai, and I didn't taste either in this blend. Neither hot nor iced. I'll get something else next time.

Love, love, love this tea! At first, it seemed a bit overpowering. But after trying it a few times and getting used to it’s strong spiciness I’ve come to adore it’s delicious, warming goodness!

This one is really good. I really like having a tasty decaf chai option since I gave up the caffeine.

★★★★★

I love this one for afternoon chai lattes! Just add some vanilla and milk and voila. It’s delicious!

★★★★★

As someone who loves chai but is sensitive to caffeine, I love that Adagio offers decaf versions of some of my favorite tea flavors

★★★★★

I was surprised to be reaching for this one alot! It's just as full flavored as the caff version and I'm happy to find a decaf version that is just as tasty and satisfying!

★★★★★

A nice spicy tea, works well with cream and is good on cold days. Can work as an iced tea too. Really enjoyed this.

★★★★★

Great option for when I want a late-night cup of chai. Can't go wrong with this one! Feels really well- balanced

★★★★★

I'm sensitive to caffeine and have trouble sleeping if I have too much too late in the day, so I got this tea. Warm, bold, and spicy. Everything I love in a chai without the caffeine.

The tea is warm, spicy, and rich. I love it with a splash of oat milk-- it feels like a decadent treat more than a cup of tea.

★★★★★

Great smoky chai taste. I enjoy it with cream and sugar. I enjoy it in the midafternoon and at night since it is decaf. Nice way to end the day.

Nice flavor, but I think I made it too weak the first time

I love having a good decaf chai for the afternoons; It was so much better than the rooibos chai. So glad to have found it.

***12/29/22 this last batch is VERY clove forward - and it must have changed because I stay away from clovey chai

This has definitely become an evening staple for me. Best with a bit of turbinado sugar and touch of cream. This has also become the favorite of the kids, with a little bit more cream and sugar.

This is a great staple chai without the caffeine kick. I often blend it with my caffeinated version for a slower burn.

This was a spicy blend. I checked before brewing and only had 4 cloves in the mix so I left them all. The clove flavor was definitely most promenate in the tea cup. It was a nice strong flavor having no caffeine which was great - just prefer something other than cloves at the forefront.

I really enjoyed this tea. I am always cautious of chai teas because often for me, the spices are too strong. That’s probably because I don’t add cream or milk to my teas. This one really surprised me because I was able to drink it black, and all of the spices blended together nicely. I brewed it at 195 for 5-7 minutes. It’s a great tea for me.

This is a delicious chai. All the flavors blend nicely and I love the clove. It's very smooth and enjoyable, especially with cream and sweetener.

I liked this tea well enough but it was a little flat tasting. Though that could be just the blend in my packet.

Today's CommuniTea packet is decaf chai with decaf ceylon tea, cloves, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and cinnamon flavor. It's not my favorite Adagio chai, but nice. I wish it was available for blending. Brewed with extra tea and spices to make a small pot of tea with 200-degree water for about four minutes.

A good cup of tea and decaf too, and a good spice blend.

First of all, the spice blend and spice strength of this tea is amazing! My problem was with the strength of the actual tea. It was very weak and tasted more like spiced water. I am going to add some plain black tea next time I brew it because I do love the spice profile.

12/11/22 Update: Tried this again with my CommuniTEA packet but found the tea to spice ratio still created a very watery tea.

This is a nice option for a before-bed cuppa, but the clove tends to overpower the other flavors. I’d like it better if it were more balanced, but it’s good as is.

CommuniTEA Review:
I think it was good, but not my favorite chai tea. The clove was a little to strong for me.

A little flat tasting, which is not a word I ever expected to use for chai. But it's not bad. Just kind of a flat, average chai.

In my opinion, the tea to spice proportions are wrong here... Enough tea that it can easily become astringent, but not enough for it to be properly Ceylon based. The spices were balanced with each other, but this tea ends up a bit watery or astringent depending on how you steep it.

I love Chai tea but really need a decaf. This is my favorite. I add a splash of sweetened almond milk and I am in heaven. I don’t feel like I give up any taste like other decaf chai I have tried. The aroma is wonderful. This is a perfect pick me up when substitute teach, without getting any jitters. Just make sure you have a large tea strainer or use a mug filter. The leaves need more room to expand then other tea blends.

A really tasty chai--I always prefer chai with milk and some sweetener, but this one was actually really good on its own, too. Great blend of spices!

I love a good spicy chai! This is very clove forward, which I love. And it's decaf too! Nice perk me up tea in the evening without that caffeine worry.

This was a pretty good chai! It's decaf, which means I got to enjoy it as a late night cup which was perfect for this snowy night. It's a very clove-forward chai though, so if you aren't a fan of clove this may not be for you.

'Chai spice' is very subjective and nearly every chai has its own flavor combination. Adagios is heavily cinnamon, and I saw several large pieces of ginger and a few cloves in my packet. It was very well spiced, but lacking somewhat in actual tea leaves - a flavor that I find essential for chai tea. Nevertheless I did enjoy it with milk and sugar (which is the ONLY way to drink chai). Drank with the CommuniTea on 12/11/2022

I'm a big chai fan, but I like a lot of spice. This chai was pretty mild in that aspect. The communitea packet smelled very nice upon opening it. I noticed a few cloves, though maybe I got fewer cloves in my packet than some others based on their reviews.

I tasted the tea before adding anything and then added a spoonful of brown sugar and some unsweetened almond milk (my usual with chai). I like how smooth it is, and the mix of spices is pleasant with none super overpowering, but I'd prefer it with a little more oomph.

Steeped for 7 minutes at just under boiling temp

It’s a nice chai, not as good as masala or raja, but excellent because it’s decaf and you can drink it at night. Thumbs up.

CommuniTEA portion: 212 ish for 10 ish minutes. 🤪 I was trying to brew this with the work water temps, hence the questions. It was still a nice chai spice brew for a midday treat. Will have to have this again as a latte. Great to know there's a nice spicey decaf option.

I enjoyed todays communiTEA. I can't believe I have never had it before today. I noticed the instructions said to brew 2 heaping teaspoons per 8 oz cup at 7-10 min. I had a small sample so used about 6 oz of water did 5 min. I added honey. The clove was pretty strong, but the honey helped. I like the Decaf Spice much better. I feel like the decaf spice is a more balanced cup.
