I purchased this to serve for friends who need decaf. Was a hit
Decaf black tea from Sri Lanka. Tangy, sweet mandarin notes, and balanced astringency. The classic afternoon cup.

I purchased this to serve for friends who need decaf. Was a hit
Even though its decaffeinated it still tastes wonderful
This may not be the best representation of Ceylon but I take that as a point in it s favor. This decaf version is smoother and less tangy that its full caff origins, something I deeply enjoy. This is at the top of my decaf reordering list.
Great way to have a good cuppa in the afternoon without the caffeine.
This black tea has a slightly stronger flavor than the oolong tea. I reALLY LIKE the flavor.
Love the decaf option. Tastes very close to the real thing. For those who can’t do caffeine, this is a great tea.
Good decaf tea. I use it to mix with other teas to create 'half-caff' teas, or I drink this in the afternoon or evening when I want black tea but not the caffeine.
I ve been trying to cut back on caffeine, and this hits the spot, especially when I want a black tea with dessert.
Perhaps the best decaf tea on the market — and I’ve tried MANY. Adagio is also the best vendor.
A solid black tea, definitely my go-to when I don't need the caffeine. Will always re-order
This is a lovely decaf black tea, which I am always looking for... I prefer the flavor of black tea but cannot consume too much caffeine, so I live in search of tasty decaf black teas. I will be adding this one to my rotation ... I find it equally delicious straight up or with a splash of milk.
Very good for a decaf, full taste with an almost coppery note to it.
This is good for blending. It’s slightly plain and boring on it’s own, but is a nice base to create other decaf teas and blends.
This tea may be de-fanged in terms of crackling you awake like its regular counterpart, but it's got all that coppery goodness of a nice strong black cuppa (maybe just a TAD less crisp than regular, but still plenty of flavor unlike most packaged decaf black tea you get at the grocery store that just tastes like brown water even if I steep it half an hour). Glad I can enjoy this late at night when I shouldn't be hopped up on more caffeine, but aren't in the mood to have herbal tea.
This is my favorite tea of all time. I drink it daily and it is a little feeling of luxury and self-care. I recommend it to everyone!
Bought this for a family member who's addicted to Adagio's Irish Breakfast, but wanted something for evenings. It's scratching that itch well! Just re-ordered.
I was looking for an evening tea--decaf with a light but robust flavor. This is it. My evening tea is found.
This is a great overall tea. I like to by the plain decaf ceylon and then mix the flavors I like to it. This makes the flavor even better. My favorites to mix with decaf ceylon are the peach bellini or berry blast.
This is a plain tea; I probably would give 3 stars for drinking it alone. However it is excellent for blending with regular black teas to make a half-caffinated tea suitable for after dinner drinking (for which I would give it 5 stars). Therefore, 4 stars.
Honestly, this tea is pretty mediocre. I would only drink this decaf tea if I had to
It's so hard to find a decaf ceylon tea that has any real flavor and this one hit the spot! Reordering!
Very good and flavorful decaf tea alternative to caffeinated teas. Has a nice smooth flavor overall and more than you might expect for a decaf tea leaf.
Growing up in the American south, we always had a pitcher of fresh brewed sweet tea in the fridge all year long, a tradition I have carried into my own household. As I get older, though, I'm having to keep a close eye on the amount of caffeine I consume before bed. Enter this decaf Ceylon. Brisk but never bitter, it's smooth nature is perfect for drinking iced. I recommend adding a squeeze of lemon - or better yet, mix it half and half with lemonade for a refreshing Arnold Palmer. It's true that it is not the most 'complex' tea on the market, but I believe it's simplicity is a strength, not a demerit.
My evening tea, with a little milk and honey, delicious!
Love this one! Light taste, goes great with a little bit of honey before bed.
An odd bitterness taints an otherwise solid tea. I will be looking for another decaf option because there are so many out there. Don't get me wrong, this is better than 90% of your grocery store options, but Adagio has better choices.
This is a great basic decaf black tea. This is a tea I like to keep in stock all the time. Even though it’s decaf it taste great!
This is a good decaf black tea option for when I want the flavor of tea in the evenings but want to ensure that I am going to be able to sleep well.
It s not fancy or overwhelming, but it is a solid decaf black tea. I ve tried it hot and iced, and it s pleasing either way. I ve yet to try it with cream or sugar, but I m sure that would be a nice treat. This is a good choice for when I m trying to avoid caffeine.
This is a good decaf tea. It's perfect for an afternoon.
Such a soothing and pleasant tea. hard to find good decafs. this is def one of them
Good quality Ceylon tea that can be drunk any time of day or night. A dash of lemon really highlights this tea.
Simple, smooth flavor, a nice option for decaf black tea. I find that I don't reach for this one that often, I prefer flavored black teas for decaf.
I was looking for a decaf Irish Breakfast and this is what the Adagio employee recommended...I was not disappointed! Hits the spot when I’m craving a cuppa black tea midday but don’t want to be up all night!
I love the delicate flavor of this tea without a single hint of bitterness. It s so deliciously high quality that it s hard to remember that it s decaf.
I used this tea to mix with the Decaf Chai I already had as the Chai was too clove heavy for me. Haven't tried it on its own but was great mixed 50/50 with the Decaf Chai.
Had to reduce my daily caffeine intake, so this decaf ceylon has been a great alternative in the afternoon. I can never go back to stale bagged ceylons now.
A great, tasty black tea. Great for the afternoons when I want a good black tea but not the caffeine
I drink mostly black tea and needed some decafs for night. This is a good decaf black tea.
This one was a let-down for me. It didn t have the complexity of a the caffeinated teas and tasted a bit stale and flat.
This was very good; not as unique as some other teas, but exactly what we wanted.
Deep rich liquor. Bold, malty, brisk, woody, hint of citrus notes.
AND... decaffeinated! 🙌 Would buy again.
Its just a plain black tea. Good flavor, no complaints
I regularly buy Decaf Ceylon. It is my go-to decaf black-tea to drink in the afternoon.
This is a great basic tea. Though it seems to be stronger than what you d find in the grocery store, I think it allows for more steeps (or less tea used per cup) so it lasts much longer. The decaf gives me the chance to drink it at any hour!
I use this to make iced tea. It's good. It's even better when you mix it with decaf peach to make peach iced tea.
So nice to have the Ceylon flavor without the caffeine
This tea tastes great for a decaf. I love it with a slice of pie (with no sweetener). It s a great balance to a desert on a cold evening.
Yeah man! Ceylon is a base for a lot of teas for adagio and for good reason. I got this tea for my Dad, he loves this tea so it is definitely recommended!
Exactly what you want when you are craving the a crisp mug of black tea but don't want so much caffeine.
