White tea with spices and fruit for a sweet, complex cup and lingering pepper notes.

One of my new favorites at adagio! Love it and will be ordering more
Spicy delicious, this will become a regular favorite.
I mix this with the masala chia and I love it! I started looking for a teavana replacement and this is just so much better
tastes like I expected, is very good hot. Its chai but more mild.
I love this tea when it is cold out. It is spicy and full flavored. Add a tad of milk to make it filling too.
I ended up having a hidden stash of this tea that I finally got to try. I loved the spicy scent and when brewing make sure to have a bit of coconut milk on hand it adds a bit of creaminess to this white chain mix. Delighted to be grabbing another bag of it. Still one of my favorites!
The white chai is definitely milder than most chai. I could taste all of the flavor components, but wish the fruit and peppercorn were a little stronger. Not a bad tea by any means.
Pleasantly surprised by this. I didn't expect it to be as bright as it is. A lovely late afternoon cup.
Like a winter holiday for my mouth. Delicious and imminently drinkable.
As much as I enjoyed the white Ayurvedic chai, I didn’t care for this one. It seems to have a strong floral note that doesn’t play well with my tastebuds.
This was spicier than I thought it would be and i was really into it. I think I will have to take a deeper dive into white teas with chai spice.
I thought I wouldn't like this tea, because the smell in the packet was a strong cardamon/clove. But that didn't come through at all. It is such a lovely, mild chai that isn't overshadowed by the flavor of the tea itself. I didn't taste any lemongrass or coconut. Second steep also good. Third was a bit weaker, but the chai spice still noticeable.
It's a different kind of chai, but I'm enjoying it. I don't think any of the other chais top the standard masala chai for me though
A lighter take on Chai with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom spiciness is present. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA December box.
This was a little weak and mostly tasted of clove.
This was a little weak. All I tasted was the clove. But was a good Christmas tea
This was very tasty. My husband and I both enjoyed it. Bought a large bag
My Communitea sample smelled and tasted mostly like ginger
I am definitely starting to get used to chai with this months CommuniTea. I'm still not used to strong chai's so I do appreciate this lighter take on it. I'm not a fan of peppercorn (so I plucked them out), but I'm loving the warm spice of everything else.
This tea was very interesting, I would call it more a spiced white rather than a chai, but still a unique set of flavors (CommuniTEA)
Is it Chai? The name said it is chai, but it was not very chai to me.
This tea was horrid on its own. After sweetening the 'tea' was tolerable. The delicate flavor of white tea was lost by the over powering spices.
Add cream to get fruit. So much pepper. So very much pepper
The delicate white tea is over powered by the strong spices.
Considering I drank three cups of this today, I'd say I liked it. The chai spices were just right for the delicate white tea, resulting in a wonderfully mellow chai great for afternoon sipping. Does well with multiple steeps. I did three steeps this afternoon, all steeped with 195 degree water. 1st for 3 minutes, 2nd for 4 minutes, 3rd for 6 minutes.
Solid flavor, balanced with a lovely bite from the pepper and no need to even add milk.
Some chai teas are very cinnamon-forward, to the point it's like eating a mouthful of the stuff pure. This chai bucks that trend, a delightfully warming tea with fruity spiced flavors. Ginger and pepper rounded it out nicely, with the coconut and white tea as a solid base.
My Communitea packet was heavy on the lemongrass so that may have skewed my feelings on the tea a bit. I had trouble picking up on the flavors of the tea other than the lemongrass and peppercorn. Everything else was very mild, it wasn't bad but it was unbalanced.
This was an amazing chai! It is not quite as spicy as the masala chai but definitely had enough spice that it was recognizably a chai.
Chai, no. Spiced herbal tea, yes. My packet seemed to be missing ingredients, as it looked like it contained predominantly lemongrass, with a few cloves and apple pieces. It barely contained any white tea leaves, no coconut or pineapple (at least that I could identify), and one peppercorn shell. With all the missing stuff, it just tasted like watery, spicy lemongrass. The upside is that I do like cloves and lemongrass, so I didn't think it was bad, but I don't think that is what this was supposed to be. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 3 min @ 195F)
Tried through CommuniTEA. A tasty twist on chai. I liked that, among the spices, clove was more prominent than cinnamon.
This has a subtle flavor - it's like a soft chai-adjacent feeling to it. I think I would love it if it was more spicy, but i think this would be a pleasant breakfast cup.
Got to try this in today’s CommuniTea sample. I’ve never had a white chai before and I thought this was very flavorful. I got a lot of spice in my packet with a hint of apple it seemed. I didn’t get any coconut smell or taste but this is still a very good tea. I will have to experiment with this one some more so add another tea to my wishlist.
My CommuniTEA packet seemed to be slightly lacking today. I could not find much of the spice, and not a single peppercorn was present. However, this was still a tasty cup. It was very fruity, and some of the ginger/ cinnamon flavors still came through. I can imagine that it’s even more delicious with the zing of pepper at the end!
I wasn't expecting much love for this tea, but man was I proved wrong. I absolutely loved it, especially the light peppercorn
I love chai teas so I was not surprised I liked this one. I think I may even prefer it over my normal chai with black tea as a base. I was a bit worried it would be too spicy but that was not the case.
As a huge fan of strong chais with black tea, I have to adjust my expectations for this variety. It's more subtle, but not less flavorful. The lemongrass really shines through and marries with the white tea for something bright and lifting. The spices all meld together and add a tingliness on the tongue. The coconut and pineapple are very difficult to pick out in this mix, except for maybe a nice mellowness. For a different, unexpected kind of chai, you can't go wrong with this one.
As a chai lover I was a little worried about chai with coconut in it. To my delight the coconut wasn't really discernable, and the rest of the flavors came together for a mild but well spiced drink. My main suggestion is to use either a little more tea or a little less water than usual.
REALLY WISH there was an IN BETWEEN RATING. This chai smelled really strong before i even steeped it. It's not something that i would personally buy myself since the flavor profile was a bit off for me. but i did manage to finish the cup
That's got a really good, delicate chai flavor. They dialed it in just right to accommodate the white tea.
It wouldn't be my go-to, but in the right mood, it hits just right.
I'll be the first to admit that chai isn't my go-to tea. I generally tend to make an effort to avoid chais but the CommuniTEA brings em to me anyway. This blend, though I don't really enjoy this one too much, is an excellent representation of what chai can be. Not only is it light and zesty it is, as others have pointed out, a little fruity and tropical. Truly this is a tea for chai lovers to try as it is such a unique experience that takes chai to a whole different level.
This is good, but it's barely chai. It smells like chai, but it doesn't taste like chai. It tastes like lemon mostly. I was hoping the chai spices would come through as an aftertaste, but the lemongrass is just too overpowering. Maybe it was just my CommuniTea packet, but a chai this wasn't.
What a wonderful blend of tea, spices and fruit! It's perfectly balanced with sweet, spicy, warm and delicate flavors. A real winner for sure! I loved that it made such a pale cup but had so much flavor.
The tea is beautiful. After steeping, it's a mild chai. Lovely combination of flavors! I added a little honey.
The spices are nice but the tea itself doesn't hold up very well to such bold flavors. White tea is just so delicate.
I was a bit disappointed in this one; it tastes like a weak chai. I don't think the white tea has the oomph to hold up to the bold spices, particularly the peppercorn.
Smells like hobby lobby. Really love how the lemon mingles with the spices, surprisingly festive.
The typical cinnamon, ginger, cardamom spiciness is present, but there is more - some lemon and tropical scents are rising up as the CommuniTea packet is emptied into an infuser. I spy a red peppercorn, which winks at me as the hot water is poured over the leaves. They steep into a light, golden color but that lightness belies the huge flavor it possesses! This is a bold chai, restrained only by the lemongrass and white tea, which are able to maintain their own individuality. The subtle fruit flavors (pineapple?) take the traditional cinnamon, ginger and cardamom flavors to the tropics. What a trip! So happy to be part of the journey, as the peppercorn returns to add a zing to the finish, which is clean and refreshing. This seems like the perfect tea for the holidays. I am able to steep it a second time, and although it is much weaker, I enjoy having more of this to drink. (1st steep 3 mins @ 195ºF, 2nd steep 4 mins @ 195ºF).
Spicy, fruity, peppery kick of a tea! So good for Christmas eve when we all might need a little jumpstart to finish off that cookie baking!
I'm a fan of white teas, and this one did not disappoint. The various ingredients and flavors blended well together, creating a light but pleasant taste. Since this was from today's CommuniTEA, this may have been at half strength, however, as others have reported needing two teaspoons per cup.
