I like this tea! It’s light, the spices aren’t overdone, and I enjoyed the little tingle of the pink peppercorns. I think I counted 5 in my packet. It’s just a nice, pleasant blend with everything working together smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this in the future when my tea stash gets smaller 😉

Lovely, spicy tea with a wonderful blend of flavors. The pineapple adds just the right hint of sweetness to compliment the zing of the spices. Excellent blend.

2022: I have added a star to White Chai from last year because This year CT packet I brewed hot, let it cool then poured it over ice, and added a bit of Manuka honey to turn it up a notch. A refreshing chilled summer sip

2021:A soft bodied Chai. I think it makes for a superb summer chai.

I LOVE this tea! It's a great balance of spice and delicate white tea. I sampled this as part of the Communitea, but I'm on my way to add this to my wishlist right now.

I have only one comment — WHY do you want to spice-up white tea for a chai when so many outstanding traditional chais are available. When I think of Chai I think of a creamy bold tea with lots of spice and I would not want to add cream to a white tea!

A mild chai, but soooo tasty! I'll admit that the smell of the brewed tea is a little off-putting, but the flavor is amazing. All of the spices and flavorings are perfectly balanced. I added a little bit of sugar to sweeten it up, and I love it. 3 mins @ 195°F

This is a nice light chai for the summer months. I usually like chai teas when its colder, but the lightness of this tea mixed with the tropical hints make it perfect for summer. I also added a little cream and sugar, and it was very good!

Gentle yet spicy, this tea had a lot going on for a white tea, in a good way. Subtle fruit flavors and bold spice, this was a nice kick in the morning!

I'm not a huge chai fan, so this tea was fighting an uphill battle with me, but it's not bad. It has a much milder flavor than a traditional chai.

The combination of spices for this chai tea are very nice. I wasn't sure how the white tea would hold up with all of the spices but it provides a nice lightness to the chai. (195F for 3min)

White Chai: Updated Review

Recommended Steep: 3 minutes @ 195°F
I steeped it for 3 minutes @ 190°F because I don’t have a 195°F setting on my teapot , in approximately 11 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of rock/tea sugar.

The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was a very strong spicy aroma, dominated by cloves, and I think, cinnamon. This is a very light tea with a nice chai flavor, with cloves and cinnamon to the forefront. I was surprised at how light a tea this is. The flavor does intensify as it cools and it has a very pleasant, mildly spicy aftertaste. I think I prefer the darker chais, but this is a nice change. 4 stars.

Recommended Steep 3 minutes @ 195*F

Upon opening the packet I was treated to the most wonderful spicy aroma. It reminded my daughter of potpourri, and I have to agree. Visually, everything seemed to be present. I steeped my tea at 190*F for 3 minutes since I didn’t have a 195* setting on my teapot, in 12 oz of water and added 1.5 tsp of tea sugar.

I really enjoy most chais though I don’t think I’ve had a white chai up to this point (or I may have tasted it once). Still, if the scent is anything to go by, this should be delicious. It smells really good even while steeping.

This tea has a very light color and a very light flavor. It is very enjoyable, but I would not recommend drinking it with a snack that is strongly flavored or the chai risks being overpowered. This is definitely a tea I would enjoy having again in the future.

Coconut is not the primary flavor in White Chai. There are enough spices to make it a nice cup of tea.

CommuniTEA packet - I felt like there was a tad too much cardamom. For some reason that was all I could taste.

This is an absolutely wonderful tea. I really like chai teas and this is no exception. It has a great flavor but I would still say it is a milder chai. I am very impressed.

Oh my goodness, this is one of the best chais I’ve ever had. The very subtle taste from the dried fruits really complemented all of the usual chai spices.

I don't love this but I thought I'd go out of my comfort zone; lemongrass definitely isn't for me, but it's not the tea's fault, and if you like lemongrass you'll love this!

Very mild in flavor, but it is tasty. I may drink this if I'm wanting something a little different instead of my typical chai tea.

i bought this for my partner & she didn't enjoy it as much as i thought she would. the taste was too faint for her 'overly americanized tastebuds' no matter how she brewed it.

Im giving this tea a 4 out of 5 hearts: 1💜 for aroma, 1 🧡 for presentation and 2 💚❤️ for taste. This is a very light, almost delicate chai. The flavors blend well together with none overwhelming. I will buy this again.

A nice light tea. My first time trying a white tea, so I’m unsure if they are normally this light in flavor.

I didn’t think chai would work so well as a white tea but I was very pleased to be mistaken!

The best tea ever! I brew mine at 185° for 3 mins. And it’s perfect. Just like Teavana’s white Ayurvedic chai.

Tastes like a chai and overall a pleasant experience

I first tried this with milk and maple syrup, it was verycomforting. The cardamon was very strong so I wasn't carrying for the flavor as much as I would have liked. I then decided to give it a try without the milk and maple syrup. It's delicious! The spices are definitely the first thing you taste and they continue to linger. As the tea cooled the lemon flavor came forward, followed by the spice that had a subtle coconut flavor and ending with lingering pepper and cinnamon. I then added maple syrup and it again bright the cardamon flavoring forward. I will not be using maple syrup to sweeten in the future as I do not care for how it changed the flavors. For me, it is perfect unsweetened

White tea and chai made an interesting combo. Spicy but subtle.

★★★★☆

A medley of spices and red peppercorns greeted us as we opened today's packet. As it steeped for 3 minutes at 195°F, tingly spiced scents rose up with the steam. The final brew was a cloudy translucent light green color.

As a White Chai, this one is very light yet still has enough kick from the peppercorns to maintain its spiced tea status. Apple, pineapple, and coconut are mild yet bring a fruity slight semi-sweetness to the tea. White tea sits in the middle staying delicate and light while cinnamon and peppercorn give a nice stout zing to the finish.

Overall for a white tea, this is paradoxically delicate yet strong enough to remain in the spiced Chai category. An amazing feat of blending!

I need to be in the mood for chai. But if I choose to pick up a chai tea, this white would be high on the list. It has a lightness to it that doesn’t compete with the spices in the same way a black base does. The clove is tempered and balanced with the other flavors and doesn’t dominate, overall making this a pleasant cup of tea

An interesting take on chai tea. My Communitea sample was heavy on peppercorns so my cup had zing. The white tea base really let the many flavors shine.

Bright and zesty, with great lemongrass flavor and a good bite of spice. Perfect hot or cold, more mild than the standard chai as well.
