great flavor in this tea, tasty and delicious, aromas are great nice and classic but less caffine with the white tea

+ maple syrup. it's a week after thanksgiving as you're getting ready for christmas. Uncle jack just left after finishing your egg nog and now you're winding down but not quite ready to sleep after the little social festivity between holidays. you're a little jazzed, looking for some mulled spice in a cup that fits the holiday season as you're coming down from the social euphoria. Can't wait for christmas. could do without seeing uncle jack for another two months though.

Great Blend.

A slightly peppery tea. My packet had several red peppercorns and lemon grass but no pineapple (much to my disappointment). It wasn’t bad but I would have liked more fruit to it. CT 5/3/23 3.15g 195 for 3 min.

I usually don't drink white tea unless a sample is handy. Today's tea was a pleasant surprise. Adding a packet of Truvia made it perfect for me. This gentle chai came to life and the sweetness of the 'sugar' brought out all those holiday spices nicely. I drank the entire cup within minutes.

Peppercorn and cinnamon were most present in my blend, I loved every sip, gave me a feeling of cloves, could be the mixture of the two spices I mentioned, didn't get any real strong lemongrass flavor, but just enough on the back end.

A chai made mild-mannered by the white tea, but still holds its own. The red pepper in my CommuniTEA packet had a heck of a rounded and pleasant kick, pairing well with the ginger notes that were next most prominent. The pineapple never made an appearance, unfortunately.
On its own, it's a lovely and heady chai that's there to keep you in a gentle headlock and let you out the second you go to tap.
It works great as a latte with oatmilk, too - doesn't dull the kick at all; it moves it more to the middle and bottom of the tongue.

This was surprisingly strong flavored for a white tea! The cinnamon and peppercorns gave this a nice subtle spice that hits you at the end of the sip, but your regular chai spices are there as well.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with the wonderful aromas of spices with a hint of fruitiness. All ingredients were present in the packet and I steeped the tea for 3 minutes. The flavor of this tea is mild, but still very flavorful. The spices and lemongrass notes are prominent, but there is still a subtle coconut and pineapple taste to it. A very enjoyable chai!

not a particular favorite because the spices do seem to overwhelm the flavor of the tea, but adding sweetener mellows it out

Not bad but I mostly tasted the pepper and the coconut. Wasn’t expecting such a strong peppery coconut tea.
Not bad, but not for me

Nice chai flavors and spiciness from the peppercorn in this white tea. The tropical flavors were much more subtle and the tea itself is very light. This was a nice take on a chai tea to have something without too much caffeine that is light.

Huge fan of Chai! This one is lovely. Its light, its spicy! I just added a pinch of sugar to make flavors pop. Also the White Ayurvedic Chai is a fav too!!

I loved the look of the tea coming out of the package. So pretty! This tea is a bit too spicy and cinnamony for me but I think those who love chai would love this tea. My husband does!

Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. I prefer chai in black or mate tea. The spices are nice but the white tea doesn't really work for me and I'm not all that fond of lemongrass.

Very peppery, the spices come through strong, hints of pineapple and lemon

I was skeptical as this tea began steeping. It's so pale, the aroma left me wanting, but...I kept it in for another 3 minutes and yes...there it is. Lives up to what others were saying about it--slight nip in the throat from the peppercorn, creamy coconut, sweet apple, and of course the spices. Pretty darn good. :-)

★★☆☆☆

I was not a fan of the tea today. It didn’t have much flavor for all its spices.

The white tea, coconut, and lemongrass are the most present flavors in this tea, as well as a kick of spice from the peppercorns. I'm not a big fan of spicy teas, so this isn't the blend for me, but it is a nice play on a chai tea.

I'm not a huge chai fan, but its a winner for my husband. The combination with the spice is just not for me.

Quite surprising a white tea can be a chai. I love trying the variations. I don't love the bitterness from ginger and clove in chai, the fruit pieces really balanced that.

I have really come to appreciate chai tea, but it took a lot of years and coaxing! Now I am happy to announce 'Hey people, I love chai tea!' I do prefer the milder versions; and this one was especially well suited for my palette. Who knew a white tea could absorb so much flavor? The ginger, cinnamon and lemongrass...all present and accounted for; as was a teensy bit of coconut. I did not taste peppercorn and the pineapple pieces were also non existent, but still, it's a great tea!

Update to say this time I steeped this delicious chai at 190 rather than 195 degrees. Still…
Absolutely delicious white tea with fruit and chai spice flavors. I steeped at 195 degrees for 3 minutes with some rock sugar.

I love most chais. This one was not my favorite. I thought it lacked flavor.

Very light and easy to drink plain - not qualities I usually associate with chai tea! Lovely for spring and summer when you want a bit of spice but not a heavy, dark tea. Steeped 3 mins @ 185°. Could probably go hotter. Definitely use less water for a little more punch.

A nice and light chai with all the typical flavors you would normally find in a chai. Slightly sweet and floral at the finish. Nothing I would buy on a regular basis but I could see myself cooking with this one.

12/27/21 - A light chai with a nice kick from peppercorns. normally white teas are too light for me, but this was a nice cup of chai goodness. I added just a splash of non-dairy creamer (can't have milk).
5/3/2023 - a good tea with a nice kick from peppercorns. But, really, too light for me. I prefer chais a bit more in my face with the spice kick. Nice bit of peppery goodness from the peppercorns, but for me this would be a better blending tea than one I would sip by itself.

In the bag: A ton of lemongrass. Some big coconut shavings. Several pieces of apple and pineapple. A few red peppercorns. A few roughly chopped white tea leaves.

On the nose (pre-steep): Classic chai scents, but less zingy than your typical chai. Cinnamon is prominent. Sweet undertone.

On the nose (post-steep): Similar to pre-steep, though less intense.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Peppery wood. Zings of black pepper both during and after the sip. Taste of a light wood like bamboo. Accents of cinnamon and clove.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Cinnamon has come to the fore. Wood is less prominent.

Opinion: An okay tea, but not my cuppa. I like the chai angle but not white tea. I prefer traditional black chai.

Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

First Sniff: a delightful smell of spices, mostly cinnamon but I can also smell the cloves and cardamom.

First Steep: 3g in 8 oz @ 195 for 2 mins

First Sip: Tastes like a mild chai, which is good for me because I generally do not like chai tea. Added 1.5 t sugar. This is quite a delicious chai, I'm enjoying it very much. Smooth, mellow, no bitterness or astringency. We really need 1/2 stars as others have mentioned, this is a 4.5 to me, but I will round up.

After sipping, there is a nice lingering peppercorn flavor. Very enjoyable.

This is a good chai tea but I do taste the cinnamon a bit more than I would like to. However, I will then to mix this with the other White Ayurvedic Chai tea and it helps to balance that out for me. Good to mix with honey or sugar. Overall I like this tea but I don't love it because of the stronger hints of cinnamon.

★★★☆☆

This is a good cup, but I thought the spices completely overpowered the white tea. I think I'll stick to white tea w/o spices and chai made in other teas other than white tea.

I tried all the Chai teas. This one was very good! I loved it so much! I will be purchasing this again

★★★☆☆

For me the white tea is too light to carry the spice blend. I am admittedly not a big fan of chai, but prefer a black tea chai with milk and sweetner. Milk just further diluted this already light mix.

This one was just okay for me. I am a big fan of chai and was excited about trying new varieties. I steeped according to the time/temp on the packet. This one however, just tasted like a watered down chai or a cup of chai I understeeped. I'll stick to the regular.

★★★☆☆

From the batch of random chai teas that I ordered this one was probably my least favourite, but it's honestly just from personal preference. I'm not a huge fan of pineapple, so that mixed with the sharpness of the peppercorn was a bit of a turn off for me.

★★★★☆

i enjoy so much the white chai tea, very calming & soothing to the throat. I usually drink it in the late afternoon to enjoy its calming effect.

I gifted this to my minimalist son who shuns hyperbole in favor of accuracy. He described it as “Just brilliant.”

A nice delicate chai. Warm and comforting without being too strong or overpowering. Make sure you use a low temperature!

This white chai is very interesting, not as astringent as black or even green. Very delicate tea taste, just enough and the spices add to the wonderfulness for me.

★★★★★

I had to order more because I drank it so fast. I have sampled most of the different types of chai and this is in the top two.

★★★★★

After trying all the chai tea I think this one might be my favorite… As the white tea is much lighter than the black tea.

This was an awesome chai. somewhat mild, but allows each flavor to be fully experienced. A good alternative to black

CommuniTEA 6/28/22: I experimented with a lower temp today and I went too far in the other direction. 195 is a little bitter and 175 is too weak... next I think I will try cold brewing it.

I love this tea so much. I like chai in general, but the lightness of the white tea was such a beautiful complement to the spice that I liked this even better than some of the more traditional chais! This one's going in the cart right... now.

CommuniTEA portion: Brewed according to directions. Nice light chai. Good chai blend with fun fruit notes. I didn't get much of a peppercorn taste but would have liked to!
