Great for the morning! Trying to get away from coffee without the headache, great choice. :)
Yum! Delicious chai, especially iced with a splash of cream.
Great flavor and works well hot or iced. I like to mix this with a little bit of a plain black tea base to get more caffeine and color out of the brew.
This is a nice spicy morning tea in my opinion very light but still pleasing
Great coconut flavor, really wonderful as an iced lattes
Perfect fruity chai without too much heavy spice of normal chai
My son enjoys this as a hot tea! Most of my family is more tea than coffee drinkers…
I love this Chai. You can smell the coconut and spices. This is so smooth.
My favorite chai so far. Bright, citrusy, and a little spicy. I usually opt to add in a bit of honey and a splash of vegan half and half!

I have to be in the mood for this one, but I really love it. Has a great chai flavor that is unique. It could have more coconut, but I add coconut pouchong for that and it's delicious.
*Update 04/2022
This has now become my favorite go to tea. I drink it almost daily and add coconut whipped cream to it for extra coconutty goodness. I think they may have added more coconut to it and I LOVE that, I hope they continue to do it. This should be a tea for coconut and chai lovers alike. Sometimes for fun I'll change it up and add Masala chai to it or coconut pouchong or another coconut white creme tea from 'Art of Tea' for more coconut flavor, but Thai Chai is always the base. It's just so unique!
This is a really fun take on chai, would recommend!
This is becoming my favorite tea. Smells so fragrant.
I had high hopes for this tea. While it tastes OK, it's missing a critical depth of flavour (for my palate). I liked the concept, and enjoyed giving it a try.
Yum! This CT packet of Thai Chai was opened to a delicious aroma of cinnamon, coconut, and ginger with the lemongrass hanging in the background. Steeped per packet instructions and added a tablespoon of condensed sweetened milk, and it was a delicious chai latte that was a great way to start the day.
I don't tend to enjoy chai tea. I find that to often the spices overwhelm the other flavors making them all taste similar. This one is more of a spiced coconut tea and is quite delicious. The chai spice is there, but takes a back seat instead of overpowering and a hint of lemon grass shines through as well.
If I had to pick one adjective to describe this flavor, it would be 'distinctive'. It's not really like other chai blends. The coconut and lemongrass flavors are strong, so if you are sensitive to those, beware. But otherwise this makes a nice change from traditional masala chai tea!
OMG!! This is an amazing chai tea! ;-)
I think this is the chai I have been looking for.
This tea was a really nice surprise. I love the coconut and cardamom. I liked it plain as well as with cream and sweetener.
Excellent tea with a coconutty and cinnamony and cardamommy taste. Quite different from some of Adagio's other chais like Masala, so don't expect a similar flavor profile. Excellent as Iced Tea. Is one of my fave teas.
4/20/2021: Thai Chai is a mild chai balanced with sweet coconut and the zing of lemongrass. I steeped 2 grams of tea per 8 oz water at 190°F for 3 minutes, then sweetened with a 1/2 tsp of raw sugar. I don't often add milk or creamer to tea, and so was pleased to find that the coconut brought a creamy smoothness to the tea. I also don't enjoy a clove-heavy chai, so this tea scored in that category as well. Nice sipped both hot and chilled.
4/7/2022: Just as tasty without sweetener. One of my favorite chai blends.
Interesting chai with a twist! The coconut was strong but blended nicely with the spices. I had this plain and a 2nd steep with a splash of vanilla cream. Both ways were excellent.
This tea was very enjoyable. The aroma of cinnamon and coconut peaked the senses when the envelope was opened. Steeped for 5 minutes at 212. The taste of the tea was smooth and mellow - from hot to warm. This was a great mix of flavors and was an enjoyable sip.
This is the chai I never knew I needed until I tasted it! The coconut is the most noticeable taste, then the cardamom and lemongrass. The tea leaves are a nice base, but not overpowering. What a sweet afternoon sipping tea!
The combination of coconut and chai spices work very well together. The spice mix is clove and cinnamon heavy with a hint of ginger and the coconut adds a sweetness to the mix. Adding a touch of sugar helps bring out a sweeter coconut flavor and I can seem myself make a delicious latte with a strong steep of this tea and some coconut milk.
It is hard to miss the coconut in this one. When I opened the packet I could instantly smell the coconut. I liked this one more as it cooled, coconut was absolutely the dominate flavor in this chai. I added sugar and little bit of cream and it accentuated the flavor. It was a decent tea but not something I would drink regularly.
I really liked this one. The chai flavors were well smoothed out with the coconut.
I seem to be in the minority. I wanted to love it, it has so many ingredients that I enjoy on tea. In the end, the coconut overpowered everything else but a vague cinnamon flavor.
A lovely chai with strong yet smooth flavors. Each flavor was distinguishable and yet the medley comes together in a smooth, warming cup. Enjoyed with a few pieces of rock sugar and a splash of cream. (6 mins @ 212°F)
Wow! This chai is fantastic! The sweetness of the coconut and the freshness of the lemongrass meld perfectly with the mild spices of the chai. I an definitely buying more of this tea!
4/7/22 I tried this iced today. Would recommend to drink this in the summer on the rocks !
This tea is in my favorites and I must have loved it years ago. This tea has a nice twist to it adding the lemon grass and coconut. Although I prefer a spicier chai, this one was wonderful.
super delicious and pleasant. im not a huge coconut fan, but this wasnt overpowering at all and i thoroughly enjoyed it! even better with some milk and honey to give it a milk-tea taste
March 2021 - This was really great! The lemongrass and coconut add an exotic feel with the spices. I added sugar and cream...YUM!!!
April 2022 - I added a star this time around. I took the advice of others and did a cold brew. I love it even more!!
This is a delicious sweet and spicy cup of chai. The coconut gives it a creamy flavor that balanced the chai spices nicely. It’s great hot or cold. When hot, I like it topped with frothed milk. Yum!
I am very picky about my chai tea. That being said I absolutely love this one. The addition of the coconut was perfect in this tea.
I am not a Chai fan and usually will order just a pure Ceylon black tea without blends but I must admit that I do appreciate the cardamom and ginger hits. Their mouth stimulation is a surprise feature of the tea.
I steeped the tea at 195 degrees for 5+ minutes, Grandpa style.
I found the general liquor to be cloudy and filled with small spice pieces that proved to deter from the appearance of the cuppa. I did not add any milk or sugar.
Very strong coconut flavor (unsurprising, because my Communitea packet had a huge chunk of coconut). Spice is mild, particularly with cream and sugar added. If you're expecting the taste of proper thai tea you'll be disappointed, but it's a pleasant enough blend in its own right. I brewed at 200 to avoid bitterness from the longer steep.
A tropical breeze
Coconut and lemongrass
Sitting on a beach
This is such a wonderfully warm tea. The coconut is an absolute *star*, and that beautifully beachy taste is further complimented by a splash of your choice of creamer/milk. The chai spices are present and pleasant, but it's the cinnamon that stands most prominant and compliments the coconut quite nicely. And while it's subtle, the lemongrass is also there, a light touch in the background - it makes itself just known enough to provide an extra flair to the flavors, without getting pushy and overwhelming any of them.
This has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I strongly recommend brown sugar if you intend to sweeten - it blends perfectly with the chai spices.
(5min @ 195ºF, w/brown sugar & oat milk)
CommuniTEA portion: I had already purchased this but had not had a chance to try the sample. This is incredible! I am a chai fan but this one is next level. The coconut and lemongrass add such a depth. I used 2 heaping tsps for about 14 oz of water. I took a chance and steeped it as recommended and it was absolutely smooth with a great flavor profile. I drank it straight up but would love to try it iced next time with a milk alternative. Well done!
I love chai so I was really excited for this one. Opening the bag I mostly got coconut and cinnamon, but once it was brewed the ginger came out too! The coconut sweetens it a bit so I only added a touch of sweetener and it was delicious. My husband, who can be really picky with coconut in tea, loved this one!
This blend has a very pleasant spicy coconut flavor. So good with a little cream and sugar!
Wow. I am usually not a chai fan but this one is fun. It is spicy and sweet and savory at the same time. It not an overpowering chai which is awesome and allows others who aren't true chai fans to enjoy!
I love this tea! The coconut and lemongrass are so flavorful and it has a natural sweetness so I don't need as much honey as usual. Definitely going to order more of this one!
I love this one, and I don't even like coconut! So I need extra stars.
CommuniTEA 4/7/22: This is one of those teas I can't decide if I love or hate. Today I loved it. Bright, cheerful, heavy on the coconut, and lemongrass. Most times I can't get over the heavy ginger flavor. Today it was great.
212F for 5 min, raw sugar
A deliciously, smooth and buttery chai with a perfect balance of cinnamon, ginger coconut & cardamom. The lemon grass came through at the end rounding out the whole taste with a subtle 'zing!' This tea is sweet enough so no added sugar or cream for me.
This isn't a very spicy chai but it has the lovely taste of coconut and lemongrass with a mild pepperiness coming from the ginger. It reminds me a lot of eating Thai curries, mmmm.
LOVING this Thai Chai tea! I was so delighted by the strong coconut scent, and I'm so happy it's flavor comes through with each sip. The spice blend is also perfectly balanced, with the lemongrass and black tea providing a great background flavor, and I added some sugar to sweeten the deal. 4 mins @ 200ºF
I got a 3oz bag in the chai sampler, and didn't know what to think at first. Such an odd pairing, it has since grown on me into one of my favorites! The coconut is very forward and balances out the spice nicely. I haven't tried adding anything to it still as it took me a few cups to appreciate everything it already has going on. I could see it probably being good sweetened, with cream, or even iced!
A wonderful, spicy chai tea that is wonderful with a generous splash of milk or cream in it. I normally steep by black teas at a lower temp for shorter temps, but I let this one steep at the 212 temp for the full 5 minutes as recommended.
I was rewarded with a wonderful, spicy Thai tea that reminded me of some Spicy Thai soup that I really love. I had this tea for breakfast with some peppery Chicken Salad and it was a wonderful compliment. This was one of the best chais I've had in a long time. Excellent blend!
