Would highly recommend for anyone who loves chai and apple! Perfect blend of flavor for a delicious tea.
Timeless duo of apples and spice. Juicy and pleasantly sweet, like warm applesauce, with a clean, refreshing texture.

Would highly recommend for anyone who loves chai and apple! Perfect blend of flavor for a delicious tea.
This is amazing. The apple and the chai spices play well together. Add a touch of sugar and some frothed cream, and it's a treat for those moments you want a little more substantial cup.
Make sure you leave it lots of space to steep. Nice blend of spice and just enough apple to feel cozy and autumnal.
Reminds me more of a mild cup of spiced apple cider than chai. Want an extra kick? Add cinnamon spice, more tea, less water.
love love love this tea, one of my favourites from the batch of samples I got last
This is a really nice apple flavored tea. I'm a big fan of cinnamon and this tea has the right combination of apple and cinnamon.
Always a favorite in my house, I like it with a touch of heavy cream
This tea is AMAZING!!! I love it. A strong chai that’s very warming in this cool fall weather.
I loved it so much I bought the large pack to share with my friends and roommates.
Nice spiced tea that I will keep on my rotation. It feels like autumn 🍂
Amazing!!! This tea is like a cozy sweater!!! Love
I love this chai! I got it originally in the chai sampler box and it quickly became my favorite one in the bunch. It has just the right amount of natural sweetness from the apples and the cinnamon is a warming treat. Love love love!
I got this with a bunch of fall themed teas and I wasn't disappointed. Do you like chai and apple cider? Then you'll love this! I just had it straight without any sweetener and loved it.
Excellent cinnamon flavor. Not overwhelming, but just the right tanginess.
The apple and spices play so happily in this blend. I think I have a new staple in my cupboard.
A decent chai, although the apple flavor is kind of weak. I feel like other chai's have an inherent sweetness, but this one doesn't so much. But it is great to mix with other chai's.
I received this in a communitea packet and was hooked from the moment I opened it. I’d never had a chai tea before and have since tried several, but this has a special place in my heart. The spices and warmth the tea has along with just a feel goodness it has just keeps me coming back to it. The fact that it can be re-steeped 2-3 times doesn’t hurt either.
I'm a chai lover anyway, but this reminded me of a mulled apple cider, which I love. I normally temper teas with a splash of half n half, and a spoonful or so of raw honey from my own bees. Thankfully I always taste it before I add cream of any sort and I found it to be delightful without. Apple and cinnamon were definitely key players and the other spices jumped in there towards the end of the cup, which will definitely warm you up!
Tastes like chai, but heavy emphasis of clove with a fart of an apple
I really enjoy this blend, have the Masala Chai as well, if I had to choose between the two it would be a tough competition.
Ooooh, does this smell delicious! Such a fun spin on a traditional chai. I can see drinking cup after cup of this on fall mornings. I tend to lean towards the Masala Chai for my daily chai latte - or let's be honest, latteS - but this one is fun to keep in the mix as well!
I bought this for a friend. We sampled it together with no sugar. It tastes like spices and sour fruit. I don't think it tasted like apples specifically, it almost tasted like a citrus fruit, but it was still nice to drink.
I really love this tea. I add sweetener and lemon juice and it tastes just like mulled cider, without the sugar. It is a must have for fall!
The ultimate in winter warming teas! Spicy, but smooth and fragrant. Can't wait to try its ice version in the summer.
I accidentally ordered a pound of this tea. Oh my, I'm so glad I did!
I wasn't the biggest fan of this tea, but my friends sure enjoy it. I think my palate is just not used to the spice as much.
Second half is from my friend.
Tastes like a spicier apple cider, really good. Only con of it is that I can't get more of it without having to pay for another bag
Adagio, please send me free apple chai tea, in exchange, I will give you free advertisement
Two and a half stars; not as good as the raja oolong chai.
Tried this in a sample before and then purchased more because it is so good, the apple is present but not overpowering which is nice.
I absolutely love this tea. The 'spiced' aspect is just the perfect additive to the tea overall, giving it that specific distinction from other chais I have had. Can really taste the cinnamon, in a wonderful way!
I bought a sample pouch of this to try on its own and to try mixed with the Sour Apple herbal, inspired by trying the Dandy Boy Apple blend, and also tried this through CommuniTEA. I enjoyed it! At first, while hot, to me this tea tasted like burnt cinnamon, but as soon as it cooled a little bit, that taste was gone. I liked this best with Adagio's honey for black teas, and liked it with or without a little vanilla almond milk as well. The apple and orange peel create a sort of juiciness about the chai that I liked. This isn't one of my most favorite chais, but I would definitely buy another sample pouch next Fall to have around for the occasional cup! One minor note ---- there weren't any apple pieces in my sample pouch at all. Weird... Still made a nice cup, but I'm curious how it would be with the apple pieces listed in the ingredients.
Love this chai blend. The balance of apple and chai is just about perfect.
This tea is autumn in a cup! So good, tastes great.
I drink this tea by first boiling some milk and water in a small pot, then adding the tea and some sugar, and letting it boil/simmer for 5 minutes. Sooo good.
I absolutely love this tea. The smell is great. And I mixed it with a cinnamon flavour and it enhanced the taste even more. I just wish it had a few more apple pieces in it.
Pretty tasty but I do wish it was a little more apple-tasting.
I'm surprised I don't already have a review of this tea up since I got a sample of it fairly early in my Adagio journey. It's not my favorite - the tea in the packet smells wonderful, but whatever apple flavor they may be adding to enhance the apple-y-ness of the tea isn't taking it the direction I'd like. I wish it tasted more like apple butter than like chai with sour apples in it. Adding cream and sweetener doesn't help much because it just makes the sour apple flavor stick out that much worse. (3m30s @ 200 F, 1 drop EZ-Sweetz, 1 tsp cream)
This was a nice apple flavored chai. I do wish it had been a bit stronger, however I was expecting it to taste like apple cider, which it’s only reminiscent of.
My favorite so far. I could taste al the spices and the apple!
My sample packet didn't have any apple or orange pieces, so I added some dried apple from the pantry. I didn't have any cloves, either (which was okay with me). I had a scant 2 tsps of tea, so steeped in about 7 oz of water at 190F x 2 minutes. Sweetened with 1/2 tsp of honey. Very nice tea, reminiscent of hot apple cider, with a subtle undertone of black tea. The spice blend is predominantly cinnamon and ginger. The apple flavor is more pronounced as the tea cools. A nice autumn chai.
Chai is a hit-or-miss sort of game for me, but this is definitely a hit. The apple flavor makes this chai very autumnal and drinkable. It's mild, approachable and friendly. A good starter chai, something I'd offer to a friend who just came in from shoveling snow outside.
Standard disclaimer applies, I received this sample as part of the CommuniTEA box. Onto the review!
Immediately upon opening this tea, an amazingly warm spiced smell hit my nose. It smelled amazing and warm, and almost exactly like an apple pie. Already excited, I brewed this tea for approximately 6 minutes in 212 degree water. The tea brewed somewhat cloudier than teas usually brew for me, and a dark orange-amber color.
Without sugar, the tea is almost bland. There isn't much to it beyond the warm scent that easily filled the entire kitchen and living room (even from just 8 ounces! I was shocked!), but otherwise, without sugar, it's fairly boring.
However! Adding the sugar to it, and more than I usually would for just eight ounces (though not nearly the 2 heaping teaspoons suggested), and the tea immediately brightens up considerably, the apple blooming and brightening it up. It's spiced, and warm, and not bitter, allowing for a warm and sweet tea to be enjoyed after dinner.
I highly recommend this tea. It's an amazing chai, and one that I will add to my wishlist immediately.
Spiced apple chai tea is one of my favorite flavors, and this tea does not disappoint.
Lovely chai. The flavor was a great blend of apple and spices.
Tried this out of my CommuniTea box, and I liked it well enough; it's a nice chai, the apple adds some good sweetness, and I think it would probably be good with milk if it were brewed strongly enough. That's the sticking point--I like to be surprised by my CommuniTea daily teas, so I brewed based on package instructions and my normal routine, which meant using the entire two-tsp packet for a 14oz cup. As such it's nice enough, good with honey, but quite weak for what I expect in a chai or even a good standard black tea. With a stronger brew I think the flavor would be nice.
Chai isn't my favorite, and I'm really not sure why - I just don't care for the particular combination of spices I guess. It is always overwhelmingly cinnamony. This tea is okay for what it is, but it just tastes like all other chai teas to me. I don't get any apple flavor at all. The kids like chai, so this didn't go to waste though.
I absolutely love chai, this one is no exception. Tastes a bit like my chai apple pie.
This tea is so reminiscent of hot apple cider you can’t help adding a cinnamon stick to your cup. Warm spicy goodness wiith a tiny bite at the finish from the ginger, this is a great tea to get you going on a cold morning.
I thought this was really good. Apple cider with extra spices. Yum. Tasted as part of The CommuniTea.
I didn't read the page before steeping my CommuniTEA packet in ~12 oz of water. The flavor was very weak and the apple didn't come out at all, the flavor was from the more savory chai spices, especially ginger. I love cinnamon and unfortunately the flavor didn't come through so I added a pinch of another brand's cinnamon black tea to my resteep. I resteeped with half the water and the flavor tasted basically the same but stronger. The added cinnamon made it more pleasant but it was still savory even with sugar. Even more sugar which made it more enjoyable but didn't change the flavor much. If I could taste the apple, this tea would've been alright.
A rather mild chai. I usually prefer mine with a little more kick. But it’s still a great tea to warm you up on cold winter day.
Delicious! A chai with an apple cider twist. Great combo.
