Best combination ever.. Chai is a favorite of mine and this is the best chai tea I've tried. I bring a mug of this to work all the time - sometimes adding a splash of milk and cinnamon to make it into more of chai latte. So good :)
Masala Chai spices in an herbal rooibos vanilla base. Beautiful clear and bright cup, and crisp, tangy-sweet flavor.

The vanilla tastes a little odd, not as natural as I would like it to be.
A winter favorite of mine. I serve it hot with coconut milk.
Delicious! A perfect cup of chai, and an excellant alternative for those who do not want caffeine.
LOVED this tea! Perfect blend of tea vs. spices. Excellent with milk and honey.
great chai smooth and spicy at the same time, definitely will reorder
Love it, smells awesome in the bag, tastes great too. Good vanilla chai. Strong pepper kick at the end. I agree some settles, shake the bag first. I just noticed this website says brew 7-10 minutes, the bag it comes in says brew for 5 minutes. I'll have to leave it longer next time.
I love this one. I love sweet tea and have been searching for a good chai
Good zesty flavor with a touch of vanilla. Very enjoyable for any time of the day
I know a lot of my friends love Adagio's rooibos vanilla chai so I'm sure it's a great quality tea. I typically love vanilla and chai teas, but I have to say I am just not a fan of this rooibos. I think it just might be a little too sweet for my tastes.
This is a fantastic tea all by itself - I've recently become a huge chai fan, and what I really loved about this one was that you have the lightness and sweetness of the rooibos vanilla without losing that classic spice that comes with all things chai. Absolutely perfect - I look forward to drinking more on its own AND using it in blends!
a little light on the cinnamon and spice but still it's a decent chai ^^
I have never been much of a fan of rooibos teas by themselves, since I think that they lack body, but this rooibos chai has a certain earthy weight to it that I can really appreciate.
It also tastes pretty exceptional when mixed with rose petals!
This is definitely a yummy tea and has a lovely spice flavor...However don't let this one steep too long or it'll definitely be a shock hahaha. My only regret is that I did not taste the anilla as much as I would have liked to
This tea is wonderful on a cold night because it's so smooth, sweet and soothing with just the right amount of spice which is mellowed out with creamy vanilla (vanilla that actually tastes like vanilla).
For me, this tasted just like another chai, which is great if you want a caffeine version of a classic. But I was looking for something a little more unique. The vanilla and distinct rooibos taste are overwhelmed by the chai.
a wonderful blend! the rooibos gives it this earthy body and the vanilla rounds out the flavor for a mouthful of flavor
Overall I would not recommend this tea unless you like strong citrus elements in blends. I enjoyed the foxtrot blend more. The best thing about this is the cloves and the rooibos. I recommend using fresh orange peels to spice up rooibos. You can even throw whole cloves and cinnamon sticks in the pot. The vanilla part is somewhat recognizable in this tea but I think overall there are too many things going on at once.
I love the flavor of this tea, but I always have trouble with rooibos tea because of the fineness of the leaves. They don't stay in the strainer and end up steeping for too long because I can't fish them all out.
Very smooth spicy and vanilla flavors that blend well. I steeped about 2 minutes, and used sugar and a splash of milk. Lovely!
If autumn had a taste, this would be it. I have to be in a certain mood to drink this tea.
This is a fantastic tea to enjoy before going to bed.
SO. GOOD. Grabbed a sample of this one in my quest to Try All The Chai, and it didn't disappoint. (though it worried me at first because in the bag it smelled overwhelmingly like ginger) But once I brewed it up and added a little sugar, the vanilla came through really nicely. Will definitely grab a full bag of this!
Writing this review based on my first time trying this tea - no sweeteners, brewed exactly as instructed. It's good but not my favorite. The spiciness of the cinnamon is delicious but I feel like the cloves completely overpower everything. I think it would be delicious as a latte with some steamed milk and maybe a little honey!
Great rich vanilla flavor, though I brew this one with a filter bag because the tiny pieces fall through my mesh basket. Bonus points for being caffeine-free!
This is a very sweet, comforting tea to settle down with and regain some focus.
A rich, warming, caffeine-free chai! The earthy tones of rooibos make it a perfect base for warming spices. Vanilla rounds it all out. Now I can have tasty chai at night. I added this to my purchase on a whim and got sick shortly thereafter--perfect timing, I guess, because this is a perfect sick tea too.
I'm a little more picky when it comes to 'Chai'. I prefer my black tea based 'Chai' with the various flavors and done up as a latte. Still, this is enjoyable on a cool day. Nice for warming up with.
One of my favourites. Just enough vanilla to add a sweet flavour, but not over-powering.
It is great to have a nice, warm chai to drink at bedtime. The vanilla complements the rooibos well.
This tea smells amazing and it tastes just as good. One of my favorites for sure!
This is one of the better chai teas I have tried from adagio. It does leave a peppery feel on the back of the tongue, but otherwise a good tea.
considering my sensitivity to spicy things, I probably shouldn't have got a sample of this. the cinnamon overpowered all of the other flavors, and to me, it was almost unbearably spicy. this is probably a good tea for most people, though. also nice with a little splash of milk.
I really like this flavor. Not to spicy. Milder than Masala Chai. One of my favorites.
This was ok. I felt like there was something in it I didn't care for, but not sure what. Might be the cardamom, I am not sure, but I will not order again.
This is a good evening chai. Not as spicy as some other chais, but as I'm usually drinking it in the evening I want a mellower flavor.
OH, so good with some French Vanilla creamer. Just smelling the tea makes you feel warmer inside.
This was my first chai tea to try, and I was very impressed. The spicy chai, with a hint of sweet vanilla is perfect.
I like that the spice is mild. It is nice. However, I wish there was more of the vanilla in the flavor.
This tea smells wonderful. The vanilla isn't overpowering and it has a sort of creamy smell. It has a nice spicy taste to it along with the vanilla. Sugar really brings out the vanilla and makes this one of my favorite chai's.
I love just about any kind of chai that you put in front of me. The only bad part about this? I need to learn how to make it properly with milk instead of water, it just doesn't taste the same to me.
I'm not sure why this just didn't hit with me. It smells fantastic, the flavor was exactly like it smelled I thought. It's entirely possible I just tried it on a bad day for chai drinking. :)
It's not bad! I am not usually a fan of rooibos but I can't pinpoint why -- just thought it tasted kind of odd. The vanilla flavor takes the center stage here, and pleasantly so, supported by the chai spices. I think I've found my caffeine-free chai blend of choice.
This is my number one tea. I drink several cups per day by itself or with some milk.
We dig this funky flavored brew in the evening. No caffeine to keep me awake at bedtime, but a robust and complex flavor that challenges the taste buds and puts a smile on my face.
I hated chai before I tried this tea. I know that you cannot trust the taste of a tea bag to help you decide what type of tea you do or do not like, but I had a chai tea bag once and it was dreadful, so I've been hesitant to try chai teas again. I simply do not like abrasive spices.
This tea, however, is not abrasive at all. It has a very strong chai character, but it is warm and soothing (perhaps a result of the guidance of the vanilla flavours?) rather than overpowering and too bold. I would definitely drink this tea again (and I will, as I'm not yet out of it! .D).
The smell is great also, and I think that those who may not like vanilla, but enjoy chai will still enjoy this tea, as the vanilla isn't omnipresent to me, so much as setting framework for the chai elements.
The only reason I did not give this chai tea 5 stars is simply that at the end of the day, chai still isn't my 'cup of tea', but this tea definitely lets me push and pull on those borders without having an unpleasant experience.
Drink on, Adagio!
This one is amazing with a bit of coconut creamer in it.
This is really nice. I love anything vanilla and for that it is great. Gives me a slightly odd aftertaste but that could be because I haven't mastered steep times yet.
A lighter variation on chai, good for when the caffeinated teas have retired for the night. The vanilla is the perfect sweet-smooth touch. A bit plain on its own for a chai, but rounds out well with milk and sweetener (I use plain/unsweetened almond milk and a little honey).
This tea is the bomb. I haven't tasted every tea that Adagio has but this will probably be one of my favorites
