I originally got this in the chai sampler set and I came back for a full size. It was my favorite of the set and I think the rooibos does well with the chai spices but the vanilla helps tone it down a bit.

This is a nice chai for those who don't prefer caffeine, or for those times when you really want chai, but you really want to go to bed at some point in the near future. It does the trick!
Love, love, loved it! I had a chocolate rooibos chai before, but I like this even more. Definitely ordering more of it. Deliciously spicy with the tastiness of rooibos that I love.

It is pretty good. I would say the chai/spice flavor is so overpowering you can't really taste anything else though.
Not a bad tea but not what I was looking for either. I love the vanilla chai tea that I get at my local coffee shop but I have been looking for a way to make it on my own. There are of course thousands of ways to blend chai but this particular blend is not what I was looking for. It's not a bad tea but to me the taste was reminiscent of oatmeal.
This is by far my favorite tea. It has a strong flavor and is great for steeping in a saucepan in the style of Indian chai.
This is absolutely amazing, one of the best chai teas I have ever had. It has the perfect amount of vanilla. I love that it is caffeine free so I can drink it in the evening after dinner as a treat.

As a big ran of both chai and rooibos tea, I really enjoyed this tea. It smells and tastes sweet although slightly spicy like a good chai, and I would defintely purchase it again.
It would be fine but the vanilla is lacking (you smell it more than you taste it) and I'm not fond of the rooibos.

What more can you ask for? Make it a dessert by adding extra cream and sugar. I love the sweetness of the vanilla and the bold spice flavors. If you don't like chai typically, this may be up your alley. It's a 'gateway tea'.

It's the perfect blend of spices. If you've ran into the same problem as myself, then give this vanilla chai a try. Very worth at least a sample. And if you like it, do what I did: Buy a lot more! Ha-ha.
I love the flavor of this tea! The vanilla makes it sweet enough for me that all I need is a splash of milk and I'm ready to go!

The tea leaves scent is a nice potpourri of vanilla and cinnimon. The scent of the tea is like a warm welcoming home after coming back from a long trip. Now as for the taste, the vanilla is light but it nips at the tastebuds along with the cinnamon. all and all, I would like to thank the person who sent me this tea sample, Cephal. I know that it has been ages since you sent this to me, but it was well worth it!
This is my favorite chai blend. It has all the flavors and fragrances of an original chai, without the caffeine. It's just delicious.

My 'Good' review cannot be blamed on the tea itself. I'm used to more of a vanilla chai latte rather than just vanilla chai tea. Nice scent and decent flavour, but just not for me.

I was a little disappointed in this tea. I get rooibos vanilla chai all the time at my local tea shop and all I ever need to do is add a little sugar and it's perfect. This tea ended up with a very flowery taste and has barely a hint of vanilla. It's not a terrible tea, but I didn't find it too delicious.
I am a big fan of chai and this Rooibos Vanilla Chai is the best that Adagio has to offer. So good on cold nights.

I love Rooibos tea. I love vanilla. I love chai. It all made sense. I was not disappointed. In my opinion, the chai flavor is about 50 of the tea, while the Rooibos and vanilla made up the rest. Completely okay with me, since I was hoping for something a little spicy. I used two heaping teaspoons (didn't have a measuring spoon)and vanilla almond milk until it was a medium brown/red. Delicious.

Rooibos AND chai? I was surprised at first, and then said 'why not?' and gave it a go. No regrets. The little spice to the earthy taste of rooibos is very welcome, and the subtle hint of vanilla is spot on to provide the brew with some aroma and a faint sweetness. Love this blend!
I love this tea, especially mixed with other chai or rooibos. I would definitely try this if you want a less spicy chai, it's a bit lighter than the original black chai.
ordered a sample for a winter get together and it turned out to be really delightful...there is a pleasing aroma and the taste is sweet enough that there isn't really a need for sugar. The vanilla flavor is there and then it recedes to the chai spiciness.
This herbal tea is good, but to paraphrase Douglas Adams - this is almost, but not entirely, unlike chai. If you are looking for a decaf chai alternative, like me, this isn't it. However if you are just looking for a spicy herbal tea this may be the brew for you.
By itself, this is just too spicy for me. However, it tastes pretty great blended with Vanilla Rooibos. :)
