Lovely spiced oolong, really gorgeous blend of spices!
This chai is so interesting! Lighter than a traditional black chai but still very complex.
This one is super tasty! I feel as though the oolong lends it a well-rounded, almost buttery taste. My favorite chai I've tried so far.
I don't drink chai very often because I'm too lazy to deal with the milk and so forth that you need for the full chai experience. So this has been sitting on my shelf for months. Today I had a craving, and went for it even though I had milk. I just added some coconut sugar. Delicious.
This well may be my favorite Chai tea from Adagio. Nice blend of flavors, strong, great taste. Highly recommended.
If you're a fan of cinnamon spice tea, look no further!
This has now become ame and my daughters favorite tea. It has a lovely chai taste and the cinnamon tastes as smells amazing.
My favorite chai so far. I'm still debating about which other flavors I may want to blend with and keep on hand, but this was so good by itself that I know I'll be reordering this one.
Not as strong as normal chai but still good. Will keep brewing
Spicy, nice winter flavors. A bit more than I care to have daily.
Delighful! Sweeter cinnamon & cocoa nib flavors blend really well with the sharper ginger and peppercorn notes; the taste is less like a mix of all of the flavors where you pick out each one, and more of a complex unique flavor created by the combination. Good on its own for a rich, spiced flavor, but also compliments well with a splash of dairy -- something with a good fat content like 2%, whole milk, or, for maximum decadence, half & half or PURE CREAM BABEYY YEEHAW!! the creaminess is what the dairy brinks to the table over flavor, so if you only have skim milk, I would recommend drinking it straight. The best time range for full flavor is between roughly 3:30 - 3:50min (to taste) with 3:40 being my go-to. Temp range between 205-210f for a good steep without bitterness.
This has been my absolute favorite to make in the mornings before heading off to campus; I'll steep a full 28oz ingenuitea of this to have a cup at a perfectly drinkable temperature when I get done showering, and the rest comes with me in a reusable mug to school for the rest of the day.
Lovely spice blend. With sugar the flavors come out more, and then cream tones them down again without making everything bland. Holds up to a second steep.
I make this into a mix with Samurai Mate, and its my day time drinker, refreshing and hot
Not so much Chai as a cinnamon bomb that’ I really enjoy.
This is a bit more mellow than many chai teas. Plenty of flavor, good for late afternoon.
Another blend I was introduced to thanks to the 2021 Advent calendar, it was unlike any chair blend I had ever had, it was sweet and spiced to perfection
Used this as a 1:1 blend with the samurai mate to recreate the old teavana blend. This is a good chai. I was able to get 3 steeps (each one cup) and it was still flavorful, probably could've gotten even more.
A bit overpowering aroma. Good flavor with warming spices.
In the bag, this tea smells worryingly strong, but it brews pretty mildly. It stands on its own as a gentler cinnamon spice, but I've also used it in apple cider and hot chocolate for a little bite.
Very interesting flavors and lots of spice. I should have read the ingredients to notice the black peppercorns. I'm not a fan of any pepper. Cold brewing a second brew removed the bit of heat i noticed in the warm brewed version. It would likely be really good with milk as a latte too.
Very cinnamon forward, I really enjoy drinking this chai with some added milk and maple syrup. @adagioteas
My husband and I loved this tea! Had a slight apple cinnamon flavor.
Made my first cup with honey and a splash of milk, though I think for further attempts, I may switch honey for sugar in order to not add additional flavors. I like my chai sweet and creamy, to complement the spice, and this fits my tastes very nicely. It's spicy without being too sharp, well-rounded and with a nice, roasty quality to it that I presume is the oolong base and the presence of the cocoa nibs. Will definitely be purchasing again.
I mix this 1:1 with Samurai Mate and voila. Recreated the famous teavana tea I have been trying for years to recreate.
There was too much cinnamon for my preference, otherwise good.
I don't enjoy this as much as masala chai, but it's nice when you want to vary up your chai selection!
Really enjoyed, I used double cause I like my chai strong.
Wonderfully spicy and fragrant, this tea comes highly recommended.
It starts with a nice cinnamon aromatic. You get the cinnamon flavor on your tongue immediately followed by a subtle ginger spiciness--it leaves a spicy aftertaste that remains in your mouth long after you're done drinking it. They did a good job of balancing the cinnamon and ginger, as those two flavor profiles can easily be overpowering if not well blended. I didn't really notice any more of the 'chai spice' flavors, but that's okay. I probably would never seek this tea out, but I'd be satisfied if someone gave it to me. If you like a spicy tea that doesn't taste like peppercorn or cloves, this is a good pick.
love it. with creamer. It can be a little spicy on its own @adagioteas
Delicious earthy Chai with a smooth finish. I love it as a replacement for morning coffee!
Warm and inviting. Strong flavors that feel like a winter scarf wrapped around you.
I love a good chai and this was one I haven't yet tried. I love the cinnamon heavy flavor of this blend.
Chai’s aren’t a guaranteed love or hate for me. It entirely depends on the sliding scale of spices. This one got the ratio just right, paired with a smoother base, this made for a lovely blend!
Nice chai with heavy cinnamon flavor. Oolong makes a great base.
Not the worst Chai I've had, but i don't see myself drinking it
Wow, I am sorry I waited so long to try this one. I love cinnamon tea! This one is so smooth with oolong as the base tea. The spices shine without punching you in the face. The cinnamon is the star of this show. As it cools the ginger, cloves, and cardamom provide further depth in flavor. Enjoyed this with a bit of honey and cream. Good for two steeps. Steeped at 200° for 5 mins. Cheers!
A delightfully cinnamon/cardamom chai. There is something in most chai teas that I find less appealing - whichever spice that is, this one is very light on it!
This chai is full of cinnamon. Not fiery but warm and welcoming. I didn't pick-up on chicory or cocoa but that may be because I was drinking the tea straight where the cinnamon flavor shined.
Fairly mild on the chai side, with the exception of whatever cinnamon oil is in this which hits strong. The oolong base is nice but not quite up to the spices.
I like this tea. It is slightly sweet and a bit spicy.
Very spiceful oolong tea. Imagine masala chai and oolong combined. Very good and soothing to drink. @adagioteas
This is a great tea it taste like that red hot cinnamon candy and smell like it too. (212 @ 5 min.)
I could taste mostly cinnamon in this light Chai. It was smooth and the spices were not overwhelming. Enjoyed this on a cold winter morning.
Amazing! Just the right combo of spice and sweet with many a little vanilla flavor?
What a wonderful chai! Delightfully spicy, but with a hidden sweetness as well. The oolong provides a perfect base for all the other tastes on top. So good!!!
CommuniTEA packet tasting, there is something light and smooth about an oolong chai. This one has a cinnamon, spicy sweetness to it that warms the soul. Happy sipping!
This is a very different chai. The oolong gives it a bit of mellowness that you don't get with a black tea. The spices are very flavorful, but not overwhelming. Love it!
I love chai teas! Such a wonderful combination of spices! This one is on the milder side! Its even better than my local coffee shop!
