This is such a delicious blend! I took a travel mug of it with me to the dog park this morning. It was such a warm and cozy sip on a cool day. I brewed it at 195 for 3 minutes, and I didn’t add anything to it. I Highly recommend giving this a try.

Excellent oolong tea!! A lovely cinnamon flavor. I brewed two cups.

I'm not a big chai person, but the oolong in this tea tempers it enough to be somewhat enjoyable. It's not a tea I would purchase for myself, but if I had to choose a chai, I would probably reach for this one. Cinnamon is the predominant flavor, and it has a nice balance of sweetness and spice.

Smells strongly of cloves. The taste is much more balanced. Cloves and cinnamon are at the forefront and hints of ginger and peppercorns can be felt at the back of the throat. I didn't think it needed sweetener, but I did add some cream which mellowed the spices a bit and brought out some chocolate notes.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I smelled the spicy aromas of cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. The oolong provides a really smooth base for this tea that allows for the chai spices to really shine. The cinnamon flavor was dominant, which added a sweet element to the tea. I really enjoyed this chai!

As far as chais go, this is a decent one. It has a nice cinnamon flavor and a natural sweetness. I drank it unsweetened without milk.

This is a delicious oolong chai that isn't bitter. There's a lot of cinnamon flavor with hints of cardamom and ginger. I added some chocolate honey and a little cream.

I love a spicy tea, but this one was nothing but cinnamon. Cinnamon by itself is overwhelming and unpleasant to me.

While it is more cinnamon based than I like, this is still a good chai! I really enjoyed it with lots of milk and sugar.

UPDATED 3/5/23:
Still delicious. I love the spice and boy do I ever need the caffeine today. I'm enjoying with milk this time, and I have to admit, it does make it better. But I still like it plain, too.

Original Review 12/29/22:
Um, yes. This is a wonderful, smooth blend and still the perfect amount of spice for me. I love it with or without milk, honestly.

Lots of cinnamon flavor and not much else which is great if you love cinnamon. This tastes very much like Fiery Cinnamon Spice which I prefer because of the black tea base.

UPDATED from 12/15/20: Cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and cardamom all rush at me as I open the CommuniTEA packet. Oh what a delightful congregation of aromas. It steeps into a cloudy red/orange color with a cinnamon aroma. All ingredients work in harmony to create a spicy chorus of flavors, with cinnamon as a soloist. The peppercorn and cocoa nibs add to the high jubilation as the oolong and chicory bring in the bass. This is so invigorating on its own. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) brought the dynamic of the spiciness to such a fortissimo - it is bouncing off the walls and reaching the roof (of my mouth)! Hallelujah - just the way I like it! For those who feel the spiciness is too loud, adding heavy whipping cream will smooth it out into pianissimo (which is far too quiet for me). If you like your tea loud and spicy - this is for you! (5 mins @ 200F + ¼ teaspoon of sweetener).

Chai is my favorite tea, this one did not disappoint, much more mild than I'm used to but that was a welcome surprise,

My son loves this chai. More cinnamon than what suits my taste, but nonetheless enjoyable.

Not only is this Chai delicious to drink with milk and honey, but I have been simmering some in a pot on my stove to fill my house with the wonderful scent of this tea!

I love this Chai the most of all the Chai teas I’ve tried. If you want a little more bite, mix with a bit of Masala Chai. I like to blend this because it is pretty heavy on the cinnamon. I have to keep this one on hand, I mix this tea with chocolate truffle and hazelnut.

Not a bad chai, but as others have noted, heavy on the cinnamon. If you love cinnamon, this blend is definitely your cup of tea.

Cant't get enough of the combination of cinnamon and spices. Also, it appears its very light on the natural flavor (Natural Spicy Cinnamon Flavor). I wonder how it tastes without it. The less natural flavors the better!

Absolutely delicious and my new favorite chai blend. The cinnamon and ginger warm up the entire cup, while the use of oolong creates a more mellow cup than some of the more potent black teas.

My personal favorite tea of all time, and how I discovered adagio teas. When teavanna went out of business, I was terrified that I would never find a replacement for there Maharaja oolong Chai, but adagio blend might even be better. Perfection in a cup.

I liked this one plain. A clean, crisp chai with mild cinnamon and spice notes. A light tea to start the day or for the afternoon.

I didn't care for the scent when I put it in the strainer, but the flavor was good, I finished the cup without having to reheat it. Huge plus for me.

Great warm tea. The cinnamon is rich, but not overpowering. I found it a bit weak on the first time when I steeped it for the recommended 5 minutes. Tastes much better if you steep it a little bit longer.

I bought this as a sample. This is excellent chai and I'm pleased to discover it works really well with oolong. However, chai isn't really my go to so I'm not sure when I'll re-order and that is why it's not higher rated.

Got it for my partner who loves chai. It’s a hit but she is definitely using a LOT of leaves because of personal preference. Take that as you will, I find it very tasty when I can afford the caffeine.

This one is my new favorite chai. I cannot find a thing wrong with this blend. It's luscious and cozy. Spicy and smooth. A great way to enjoy chai flavors when you want an alternative to black teas. An absolute favorite that will be on my winter menu for many years to come.

This is a very cinnamon forward blend but everything else is tame enough to not need cream as I tend to need in most chai blends. Raja Oolong Chai was the perfect cup to jolt me into some school work, it gave me motivation via my tastebuds to get it done!

One of my favorites now!

★★★★☆

Wonderful spicy cinnamon and clove aromas rose up to greet me from today's packet. A complete 5-minute steep at 212°F created a mellow amber-orange brew.

The first sip was chock full of clove, cinnamon, and ginger. There were other spices hiding behind the medley, including my favorite cardamom. However, the other boisterous spices stole the show. It's alright because chicory kept things dark and earthy enough to balance out those strong spice flavors. Oolong tea was mildly accenting the middle chords of this spicy menagerie. A robust spicy cinnamon flavor and peppercorn kept the zings coming at the end of the sip.

Quite an enjoyably zesty spiced chai! If you love cinnamon and stronger spices, this chai is probably for you. If you're looking for a cardamom-forward blend, then check out the Masala Chai blend.

This is my favorite of all the Adagio chai options. It’s the closest to my old favorite from teavana. Perfect blend of tea and spices.

Edit: This chai is my favorite for making chai lattes. The cinnamon and clove are equally potent, which I love, and the black tea base grounds the spices well. It’s even better if sweetened a bit, like most chai tea. It’s also a good chai base for making blends of your own. This blend is however, not a chai for those with a delicate palate. (190° for 5 minutes, a touch of rock sugar, and topped with foamed oat milk.)

This chai is heavy on cinnamon, which I don't mind. I added half tsp of raw honey and 1 tsp of heavy cream which rounded everything out. I think I especially like the base being an oolong rather than a Ceylon, as it is less bitter.

This is a really cinnamon-heavy chai that's also a bit lighter than a standard chai due to the oolong base. I liked this a lot, I added a little oat milk and sipped it quick!

Cinna-yummy! I loved this and it will be the second purchase from this month's box. Cinnamon and lovely oolong in nice balance and harmony. I added a splash of oat milk to bring it all together and a touch of honey for sweetness. Delish.

★★★☆☆

I was really excited for this blend as it has so much I love in it, but I think my CommuniTEA packet was a bit lacking. There was no taste of the cocoa nibs, and the ginger was barely detectable. The cinnamon was there and provided lovely bursts with each sip. Otherwise, it was a very weak blend [and I used less water to try and make it stronger]. I think, were I to buy a bag of this, it might be more flavourful, or I could at least double it to make it so. Then it would get 5/5.

Probably my favorite of the Chai blends i've tried; the cinnamon is the strongest, but I could taste the other spices as well. Added 2 sugars and a dash of almond milk.

★★★★★

This is the best riff on Adagio's spicy cinnamon flavoring. Earthy oolong and bright ginger tame the super-sweet cinnamon sugar flavors perfectly.
