The cinnamon is strong with this one. Not my favorite Chai, but one of my favorite oolongs.
The rich complexity of oolong tea lays a smooth foundation for a majestic cup, packed with savory spice notes and hypnotic aroma.

The cinnamon is strong with this one. Not my favorite Chai, but one of my favorite oolongs.
I'm just not a chai person. I prefer those types of spices to be subtle or not there at all. That being said, I did appreciate that this one didn't have all the cloves that many chais have. It wasn't bad. As others have said, very cinnamon heavy. Definitely not spicy. I didn't get much other than cinnamon, but it wasn't bad just not my thing!
Naturally sweet, and oh so deliciously cinnamony! The oolong is super smooth too. A very pleasant cup of cinnamon chai
Update 9/30/24: A year and a half later, I have become a huge chai fan; however my thoughts on this blend have not changed. Top heavy with cinnamon, I can't taste my beloved oolong! This is chai on steroids.
This bad boy was a bit much for me to handle, since my packet contained mostly cinnamon! I wasn't ready to give up on it entirely, so I blended it with vanilla oolong. The vanilla mellowed it out and made it much more tolerable for my palate. I did not taste any cocoa nibs. I'm not a big chai fan, but I keep trying!
Spicy and warm. This tea is like a liquefied cinnamon candy.
A lighter chai with a whole lot of cinnamon flavor. I added a splash of cream and it was delicious.
It's Thesaurus time!
Zesty, spicy, Flavorful
Zing, kick, fiery!
Peppery Tincture
With heat, Strength and liveliness
Excitingly bright!

A lovely cinnamon chai. Light on the clove, just the way I like it. Try blending with the Samurai Mate for a fun twist
Raja Oolong Chai is a great tasting tea. Love cinnamon!
Honestly my favorite flavored tea! Literally tastes like a Red Hot candy without being too spicy. It’s just delightful with cream and a pinch of sugar. I tried this one in a sampler and had to buy a bag it was so good!
I mix this with Masala Chai and Samurai Mate (as well as the rock sugar) as a replacement for the former Samurai/Maharaja chai. All together they have a great spice and flavor, but I double the scoops because I like my teas *strong*. My coworkers love the aroma it gives off as well which is a great plus :)
Tried this iced and it’s too full of cinnamon for my preference
A spicy one! It's a good one for winter time or even if you're sick. Fairly potent cup!
I bought this to duplicate Teavana blend--mix 50/50 with the Samurai Mate for a lovely chai with a hint of fruitiness. Good plain, sweetened or with milk for a latte. Also nice chilled.
Cannot go wrong with this one.
I was searching for a replacement for Teavana Maharajah Chai Oolong. This was similar and equally as delicious. I loved it!
This was my lesser favorite of the two chais I bought. Not spicy enough. Had it hot with a little honey.
I really enjoy this, especially mixed with the samurai mate tea, such a good flavor, very enjoyable tea
This is a strong cinnamon flavored chai tea. The bigger bags need to be mixed before scooping out the tea or you might end up with minimal flavor.
Delicious chai. Perfect for a delicious chai latte!
Perfect morning tea!Good bold flavor. I mix it with sugar and a mate.
Hands down favorite chai EVER! This tea is a primary staple in my household.
I liked this one. It was a dead ringer for any « cinnamon chai », with the cinnamon being the overwhelmingly prominent taste
Solid spicy chai tea option. Mixes well with oatmilk for me, for an alternative to a chai tea at Starbucks which would cost a lot more money.
Loved this! Part of my first purchase with this company
We made this one into a tea latte and it was phenomenal. The taste was cinnamon forward which gave it a sweet flavor without the need for sweetener. Delicious!!!
i like this tea but i am also a huge fan on cinnamon which is the primary flavor in this tea. i would recommend a different chai if you are looking for a more subtle flavor
Delicious chai, as you would expect of a chai but maybe a bit sweeter.
This is my favorite of Adagio's Chais. Lots of spice, decent caffeine. I'll add a healthy dose of creamer and enjoy it blissfully in colder weather.
Chicory flavor is way overpowering. If that is you thing this is the tea for you.
The sweetness of the oolong is very well balanced with the spices. A little weaker than the tea I normally drink, but I still enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely reorder this.
Really good cinnamon flavor. Might be my new favorite.
So good! The spiciness of chai but with the smoothness of oolong. Not too acidic to drink milk free.
More cinnamony than I prefer but definitely a good cup of tea. I mix this with ti quan yin oolong tea to mellow out the intensity.
I tried this on a whim. It surprised me by being very nice chai flavor with an unexpected cinnamon flavor.
This is my new favorite tea. Even after 3 brews, it's still refreshing & delicious. It is so fragrant & hits your palate with wonderful flavors. I highly recommend it.
I mix this with Samurai Mate & a little sugar. The flavor is a pop of cinnamon spice deliciousness. Really, it is my go to, I don't want to think about it, I know it will make me happy cup of tea.
I am a big chai fan but this one did not work for me. The spice flavor has a clothing cloying artificial taste which is weird because I haven't experienced that with the other chai from Adagio.
It has a very strong apple spice taste to it that reminded me of a spiced apple cider almost. It was a bit too spicy for me, but I'm not one for spice to begin with so that part of my review isn't anything to listen to. I would prefer this cup in the fall though because of the apple spice taste.
I mixed this with the Samurai Mate trying to recreate a favorite blend I had from another tea brand (based upon the recipe given here on this website). It is good, but not exactly as strong as the other blend was. I can't comment on this as a stand alone tea, though.
I love the strong spices in this one. Reminded me of days of old visiting Teavana and sipping their Maharaja Chai. This is a perfect alternative!
Saying I really love this tea is an understatement. I Like to steep this w/ the Samarai its a very close to the old Teavana Madagascar Samaria, which how I discovered this company was by searching Teavana substitute. This is now my go to tea for the last several months
An excellent Chai, it has a sweet flavor without adding honey or sugar. All the spicy elements are quite enjoyable.
A really nice cinnamon chai. This is especially good on cold days when you need to warm up. Goes well with milk or cream.
Our favorite chai blenf. Warm and Cinnamony. Great on a chilly day
A really nice lighter chai that still has a great spice profile. Can be enjoyed with or without milk
My fave chai. Rich and subtle oolong. Longer steep time than green blends gives stronger chai flavors.
The most flavorful tea I've come across since Teavana no longer available! I steep a couple tablespoons for 5 minutes & add a smidge of honey!
This is, so far, my favorite tea. It has a spicey taste that really hits well.
This is the perfect afternoon tea. It's sweetness gives you that cozy flavor for a cold day.
Be mindful of the amount of sugar before indulging since it has already a sweet taste.
Delicious chai flavors, perfect fall spices. Yummy
