Having just returned from India, my husband and I were missing the 'chai walahs' serving little cups on every street corner. This is exactly what we were looking for.
Bold and spicy and perfect with a little milk and sugar.
We are hooked.
This is the only masala chai that I've tried and it's fantastic. I'm having trouble getting the hang of steeping it correctly, though most times it turns out alright. The one complaint I have is that there are too many cloves for my taste. It comes on really strong, and while I really like that feeling in the nose of the cloves during winter time, since it's a nice warming feeling, it's not for me at any other season. Great tea, highly recommend.
I enjoyed this with some sweetened condensed milk, rather like a chai latte from a coffeehouse.
This is a great tasting chai. It is strong but not overpowering. Tastes great even without milk or sweeteners (which is the way I prefer to drink it).
Love this spiced blend. I agree...add a little milk and this saves you a trip to Starbucks...and saves $ too! Will purchase more once my sample is up.
I'm not a fan of chai, I had bought this for a friend who's addicted to chai masala and she didn't find it to be any better than the tea bags she finds at a local market. It smells really great though!
On a par with my old favorite Chai - the Rooibos Chai. I highly recommend it.
This was my first “real” chai. All the others I’ve had were the powdered, syrupy sweet, instant varieties. Wow! What a difference! I love this stuff. I hit it with some hazelnut coffee creamer and Splenda. Can’t wait to try Adagio’s other chai varieties. They all sound great.

I am a huge fan of chai. Before purchasing Adagio's Masala Chai, I had tried many different chais from many different companies. Most were too bland for my taste. One I found that I liked was discontinued (I must have been the only person buying it). So I was very pleased to find the masala chai was very flavorful without being overwhelming. I liked my first purchase so much, I have signed up for auto delivery!
It is a wonderful, deliciously spicy, tea. Will a little milk and honey... pure amazingness!

A good tea, but I much prefer both the spiced green and green chai. Also, this tea has an unforgiving steep time. It gets bitter fast.

A really good, classic tasting spicy chai. I brought a spoonful to boil in half a cup of water. Added milk and sweetener and brought back to a boil, then strained into a glass and it was good.

The aroma and the flavor of the tea are quite excellent, and the tea itself is delightful on its own without sugar or cream.
This chai tea is wonderful! I brew it in boiling water for 2 minutes, then add milk (1:1 proportion), bring to a boil, bring the heat down and simmer for another 5-6 minutes. Then add in some honey and its perfect =]
It's ok, but a bit too strong for my tastes. I'll finish what's left but I don't think I'll be reordering.
I took another person's advice and brewed this with some warm milk, and it was very good. Tasted just like a chai latte you'd buy for $7 at one of those "coffeehouses." :)
There was something off about this for me. I think I like the spices used, but not the actual tea leaves. I'm planning to try buying an unflavored black tea and spice it myself, but I won't be buying this again.
This tastes and smells just like the original masala chai, but without the dairy. Excellent.

It tastes like chai. I like a medium amount of spice for chai and this one is just right. The spices did not overpower the taste of the black tea. (NOTE: This review was by Susan's daughter, who likes chai. Susan is not that fond of it.)

Has a wonderful, spicy flavor. However, being accustomed to more subtle flavours this on shocked my palatte. Despite finding it initially overwhelming, a little vanilla soymilk and some honey remedied the situation.

This tea is very spicy and very flavorful. Quite strong, but not TOO strong. Perfect on its own or with milk & sugar, and is a great "wake me up" morning tea.
Absolutely delicious chai blend with tons of cloves and spice. I was using the spice tea to fill my chai love, but will definitely switch to this one.
This was absolutely one of the best chais I had to date. The balance of spices to tea is not overpowering yet still quite flavorful. I may get more of this in the future.
I thought I liked Chai tea. That was before I tried this. What I've had in the past is nowhere near this when it comes to taste. This is the mother of Chai, and it is absolutely fantastic. The spices add just the right amount of omph to get me going in the morning after I quit drinking coffee. And when I pour myself a cup on the train going to work, I get a load of envious looks because of the divine smell that fills the train wagon. People actually approach me and ask what it is, and I'll say "Oh, this is my Adagio Masala Chai" and then I give them the internet address. :) I add milk and just a tiny bit of honey. It's become my favorite treat, and a healthy substitute to chocolate.
Bought this one for a friend and she absolutely loves it. Will definitely be ordering more for us to share.

The search for a great masala chai led me to this tea. It's especially wonderful with honey and milk and isn't bitter like the stuff you can buy at local restaurants.

This one's intense -- very sharp and in-your-face. If I weren't expecting that in a chai, it might even be overpowering. As it is, I LOVE this tea!! Very blendable - a little goes a long way towards infusing a blend with *bite!*
Nice even cup of tea with a hint of coconut. Watch your brewing time so it doesn't get bitter.
Some of my indian friends have tried and confirmed the authenticity of this drink. If you have an infuser that you are reusing, you may want to have a separate one for the chai - it leaves a strong taste.
Very good chai; a little bit on the spicy side, which I like. Try brewing it with hot milk rather than water - it's great.
It's hard to go wrong with chai! I love this with a teaspoon of honey and 1/4 milk.
