This is a decent chai for sure and very well rounded. I prefer a chai to be a bit more spicy. I think I would of liked a stronger cinnamon flavor. But if you like chai, this is a must try! Haha I rhymed! :)
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

Brewing with just water gave an acceptable if subdued flavor, however I was able to get this Chai to truly shine by following a suggestion several other reviewers have made. Remove the water and slowly brew with hot milk instead then drizzle a bit of honey in the final minutes before you strain. It really transforms the flavor into a much stronger and more potent experience! The spices come out a lot stronger and the tea breathes very well into the mix. Very warming on these cold winter days!
The tea base is fine, but the spices determine the character of a chai. This one is extremely heavy on cloves. so if you like cloves, this is the blend for you!
Probably my favorite anytime tea of all time. I add some honey and milk and it's Christmas in a mug
I love Masala Chai! It is one of my favorite teas!
Not as good as the first time. This batch has way too much ginger and not enough tea.
This is one of my favorite teas. I prefer it with just a bit of sweetener and no milk. The combination of spices is fantastic.
Excellent chai! Only brewed it once, but I can already tell the difference in the quality from store bought tea bags.
This is a wonderful chai tea. It smells delicious and has the spicy taste to back it up. It is stronger than several other chai teas I have tried from other vendors.
This tea has a nice bite to it. I'm not a huge fan of ginger, but it tastes very good in this tea. Definitely my new morning tea.
I love a good chai, and this one is one of the best I've had. Perfectly spicy, best with a heaping spoon of sugar and a lot of milk!
This is the best of the Chais Adagio offers. Spicy and tastes great with milk and sugar.
This is aflavorful chai, the spice is great without being overbearing. I would definitely try this if you like chai.
I love chai and this one is very good! Loose leaf chai is the only way to go. I heat up milk or half
This tea is lovely and perfectly spicy. I drink it plain--no milk or sugar or honey. It doesn't need it.
A pretty basic chai. My one complaint is that it seems to be a little heavy on the cloves. Of course, some milk balances everything out and maybe even bumps up the ginger factor (no complaints here!), but I don't think this chai is anything to write home about. Not bad by any means, I just prefer others.
A good chai, but I think it needs to be brewed a bit stronger than labeled.
Spicy and exactly what I was expecting from a chai.
It was a decent cuppa, but not my favorite unfortunately...follow what the other reviewers said and use milk instead of water and all of that shenanigans
I think I would have to be more of a chai fan to enjoy this. The spices are a little strong for me, but you can clearly taste the clove, cinnamon, and cardamom. Chai lovers will ADORE this tea but I ordered it mainly to try the most authentic chai that Adagio has.
Very nice spice tea. I'd enjoy this with breakfast.
I love very strong chai and normally need to add a lot of extra spices. I still add some extra to this, but much less than with other chais I've had. I got a pound and plan to try to make a chai concentrate with it.
One of the staples in my tea cabinet. It's balanced, spicy without being too hot, and blends wonderfully with other teas.
I put twice the amount of tea in a cup, and then heat up a cup of milk and add them together. So much better (and cheaper) than a chai latte at Starbucks.
Great basic chai, nice and spicy, with whole cloves in the mix. My only fault is that the tea is a bit weak. I had to brew extra strong to get some taste! :)
A pretty decent masala chai. It's spicy but not bitter.
good and spicy, not too heavy on the cinnamon, but missing the black pepper which lacks the authenticity of many masala chai's
Love to mix this chai with the rooibos vanilla or vanilla green
Like some of the other reviews said, it could use a little more body. This is easily remedied with a bit of plain black tea (Ceylon Sonata works great). Spicy and perfect for this chilly weather!
This is definitely the best chai tea that I've ever had.
This is a great chai tea. It's not too strong like some chai's but it has a great spicy taste.
Definitely not my favorite chai - too much clove for my taste.
This is a nice full bodied tea that is a wonderful blend of cinnamon, cardamon and ginger. It has a pleasently sweet aroma. The thing I taste most in this blend is cinnamon and the ginger. I drank the tea straight with no milk or honey but I do look foward to trying it.
This is my favorite Chai. It's spice has just enough kick to burn your heart out of your body. Which is so good, especially in this cold wintery weather.
This is good Chai. Full of flavor. It has a clean start to the tea, but there is a spice at the end that I'm not quite fond of. Though that maybe because I brewed it too long (simmering for about 6 minutes.) But overall it's very good. I added lots of honey and sugar because I like it sweet.
This was not quite spicy enough for me. However, based on the positive reviews and suggestions, I think I need to experiment with this one a little bit.
This is my first Chai tea that I have purchased and have fallen in love with the 'spiciness' of this tea.
really great chia! love making concentrate with this!
Very good. Nice, bold flavor. Not only that, but it makes my kitchen smell fantastic!
Super flavorful! I wished the sample lasted longer, I'll be ordering a full size order now!
This is everything Chai should be... and more. It's even better as Fall approaches me here in Southern California.
I love this chai. I drink two cups every morning. My younger sister loves it too and shows up a few days a week to grab a cup on her way to work. I am going to have to start ordering more.
This was actually the first chai tea I've ever tasted, and I wasn't quite too sure what to expect. My first cup, I steeped for 8 minutes at just below the boiling point of water, and I didn't like it at all. It was spicy and too bitter. Reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to brew it by letting 4tsp steep in 8oz of hot water for 2 minutes, and adding 8oz of hot milk and some sugar, letting that steep for 5 minutes. That was much, much better, and I found out delicious. I'll probably be drinking this on an almost-daily basis. It's definitely worth your money.
I would like it better if the clove taste didn't come on so strong. I know there is cardamon in it but I'm used to the whole ones being in chai's. Minor compliant for the cardamom though. I've had it warm and iced. I think I like it warm better. Since the epic taste from the cloves is soo strong I would reccomend adding a decent amount of sugar. I'll have to try what other people say and add more milk it would probably taste better that way. To be on the safe side unless you really love clove I would also get a sample bag first.
I love this tea! Its smooth and flavorful. This has become my go to tea!
What isn't great about chai? It's probably the first one I've grown to love and will continue drinking throughout the winter.
This is a fabulous spicy chai perfect for making lattes.
Definitely some of the best chai I've had. And it smells wonderful...
This is definitely one of my favorite teas from adagio. Very spicy but easy to blend with other teas to create amazing flavors.
<3 beautiful chai. This has replaced my once and beloved Stash tea that I've been drinking for years. It's spicy, robust and leaves you feeling warm afterwards. Good blend.
