This is my favorite tea that I sampled. It tastes just like I would have hoped - spicy, warm and not too sweet or cinnamony.
nice spicy blend. I did try to make it the traditional way in a pot with milk instead of water, and it was rather unsuccessful. Still a great tea, well balanced with lots of ginger.
Fantastic chai, just the right amount of spice. It smelled fantastic in the bag and I brewed according to directions adding just a bit of milk and sugar. Mostly definitely a 'keeper' tea for me.

There is something about the balance of flavors in this chai that makes me not super crazy about it. I like a chai that has a dominant flavor of cardamom and strong black tea, but in this tea it seems that the other spices overpower both the cardamom and tea flavors. If you like more of a cinnamon/clove/ginger flavor than you probably would like this. I thought it was okay, but just not my thing.

This is, to my mind, the classic chai flavor. It is wonderfully aromatic and the taste is phenomenal. Lots of spicy, earthy flavor with a wonderful hint of nuttiness. Highly, highly recommended!

I really wanted to like this one, and it smells incredible, but I could never get it to be very strong. I'll have to try more of the tea to water ratio. It's deliciously perfumey and not overly spicy, and tastes better (in my opinion) with cream, which will dilute less than milk.

Really good chai, nice and spicy which I like. Strong flavor of cloves. Good with a little milk or sugar, or brewed in the milk. Smells delicious too!

My expectations were purposefully low for this tea even after reading the high praise in the reviews. It certainly smelled amazing opening the bag but would it live up to its reputation? First sip and I was sold. I absolutely love this tea. in fact, it's my new favorite. In the zombie apocalypse, this is my Twinkie.
After months of drinking horrible Chai, this is a treat! Spicy and delicious!! I put milk and agave in it--made my day.
The masala chai is a spicy delish mix that I very much enjoyed. Next time however, I would steep it longer so it was more flavorful. I added a splash of skim milk and some splenda and it was an overall great tea. I will be ordering this again.
tasted like a truly authentic cup of chai tea. this is one of the exceptions i have with using milk and sugar in my tea and it's a very comforting cup. highly recommended. looking forward to trying the other chai variations but i think the indian flavors do it right.
s a chai lover, I love this tea. Just be careful how long you steep it or the taste of the cloves particularly can be quite overpowering. While I don't know if everyone experiences chai the same way I do, I get a delightful tingliness in my tongue and lips when I drink this tea. I tend to steep this tea just under three minutes to get the flavor that I want.
I really enjoyed this chai! I have to be careful with the steeping time, because despite the fact that I like my chai teas very spicy, they can quickly get bitter. That said, this has a nice amount of spice, and I really enjoyed the cup.
My first chai, and I loved it! I didn't do anything fancy... Just brewed it as directed in boiling water, then added half and half and a spoonful of sugar. Next time I will try steeping it directly in milk in a pan!

This was my first loose leaf tea I have tried from Adagio and it was pretty good coming from someone new to tea. I thought it was going to be much stronger than it really was and you go through it extremely fast since it requires two heaping teaspoons per cup.
I had high hopes because of the smell of the tea packet, but the flavor wasn't to much to my liking. I'm sure one of my friends will enjoy the leftovers.
Solid chai. Good on its own or with a splash of milk. Spicy but balanced. Would also be great with sugar or some sweetener as the tannins are a little heavy in this (which I like, but others may not).
I wanted to love this, but it was a little strong on the cloves for my preference. I think I prefer a stronger taste of cardamom in my chai. However, it was still good, and I particuarly liked it steeped in milk.
this chai is a nice variation on the chai flavor, yet for me it has a different spiceness to it which is not balanced with all the other componets

This is my favorite morning tea. The spice blend is not bitter, while strong enough to hold up when I blend it with coconut milk. I've tried it sweetened with amber crystals and with a few drops of stevia. Both are good, but if you don't like your chai sweet, this blend doesn't need it because the cinnamon and clove add a hint of sweetness.
This is a really wonderful chai. It has a warm, cozy taste that has all the spiced flavour you could want from a chai without being too strong. I even accidentally left it steeping for some time past my first cup, and it did not get bitter. Tastes marvelous with milk and sugar.

Really nice smell. You can definitely tell there's some spice to this tea. As a person who loves chai, this was pretty good. I can definitely see a smidge of milk going with this as needed, though I like my cuppa plain.
One of my favorite Adagio teas. The best chai, by far. In fact, I can't go back to grocery store chai. I think the real spices in the tea, such as cloves and cinnamon, really make this tea far superior, rather than just the spice oils in regular market tea. Well worth the price and wait. Awesome
This is a beautiful tea to look at and to drink. I love seeing the blend of spices (whole cloves!) in this tea. Nice warm comforting taste with just the right spiciness. This will be a regular for me.
The flavors are good and the smell is AMAZING but unfortunately the spices are not as much as I would like in a chai tea. I used some pure honey in mine and a bit of sugar. I actually enjoyed it more when I steeped it for I believe a bit less time. Very good!

This is heavy on the cloves, which I really like, but the spices don't actually overwhelm the flavor of the tea. I like this best when made with milk and honey or brown sugar.
This tea smells heavily of cinnamon. Like, cinnamon broom at Christmas level. I used the suggested heaping teaspoons and added a couple oz of almond milk. Overall, pretty good. Spicy in a way that differs from the masala chai I usually drink. I like it. I love seeing whole cloves in tea. Makes my day.
