Fantastic chai. Comes off as may be strong when you first open the pouch, but not so once you brew it.

★★★★☆

This tea is very good, especially when some cream is added. I have been searching for a really spicy chai, and this doesn't quite do it for me. As a tea, it's delicious, but if you're looking for a really spicy chai, this isn't it.

★★★☆☆

I expected a much stronger flavor from this chai, it could be that I'm not brewing it correctly though.

★★★★★

Nice and Spicy!! Only downside is it takes a bit longer to brew, and the smell makes it so hard to wait!

★★★★☆

I hate to rate this one bad, because it is more my taste than anything. It is a really spiced tea. I am thinking of using it as mulling spices in a jar of cider. The clove and cinnamon would be perfect. As for a tea by itself, it is not my thing.

It's great. I bought the sample package and I don't want to use too much of it, so my tea isn't as strong as I usually take it. But it's still delicious. I'm definitely going to be ordering much more next time!

The sample size definitely doesn't give you enough tea for 10 cups. If you follow the measurements on the package, you'll have enough tea for about 3 cups...

★★★☆☆

The flavors are too strong for me. Not my favorite.

★★★★★

Very nice and spicy, but not so much as to be overwhelming, would go great with milk!

★★★★☆

The tea is good, not my favorite spiced tea but certainly up there. Has a good spice without being spicy or overbearing.

★★★★★

I first tried this tea just black, nothing added, just brewed in hot water. I loved it and drank my cup pretty fast. The spiciness was perfectly balanced and great for warming me up on such a cold morning. I got on and read some more reviews on it and people suggested brewing in milk on the stove so later that day I used up the rest of my sample bag to share it with my family. I brewed in half milk, half water in a pan on the stove, and let everyone add their own honey or sugar. Oh my, it was so wonderful. I'm new to trying out different teas and this one is by far my absolute favorite of the ones I've tried so far, even with nothing added to it.

★★★★★

As always, the top of the food chain when it comes to true 'chai tea'. A wonderful blend of spices where the cinnamon really makes this blend work.

★★★★☆

Very good, I wish the spice was a bit stronger. I think I'll have to brew 3 teaspoons to a cup next time.

I purchased this for something a little different. It was quite good, but, despite trying many different steep times, temperature, amount of tea, cream/no cream, sugar/no sugar, I never got it to turn out just how I like it. The flavor always seemed to fall slightly flat and I cannot point out exactly what seemed missing. I may get another sample of this in the future to further test it.

★★★★☆

Brewed like tea, this was pretty good. I really want to try brewing it in milk next. The spices are balanced nicely.

★★★★★

I love this tea! Must add a splash of milk or cream to really bring out the flavors. Normally I have this on the weekends and a plain black tea during the week at work. Allows for a bit of variety in my mornings.

great aroma, great taste. no better way to start the day. Order it by the pound. Trust me.

★★★★☆

Really bold flavors with this one. Milk or Cream required to not be overpowered by the cloves and other flavors. Will buy again.

★★★★★

Phenomenal! This was a fantastic buy, I will most definitely be purchasing again.

This tea is pretty good, smells nice in the bag and has a good flavor, but it is even better blended with vanilla teas. Honeybush Vanilla is my best suggestion to blend with this.

★★★★★

This tea was originally part of my chai sampler, and I've ordered it again. It is a very good tea.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea to have when I am stressing over school and work and papers and general things that must get done. This is one of those teas tastes exactly as splendid as it smells.

★★★★★

Yummy chai...I gotta get me another cup! It is definitely a winner!

★★★★☆

So very amazing. A lovely full spicy flavor that makes it a perfect breakfast tea!!

I usually like making my own chai, but this is delicious!

★★★★★

Robust chai flavor. Perfect for a cold day or early morning latte.

★★★★☆

A great chai tea. If you like chai, this is perfect for a cold day.

★★★★★

This is by far my favorite 'pre-made' loose leaf chai. It also makes a great latte with skim milk and honey.

★★★★★

a nice and spicy chai. great with cream and sugar.

Nice spice with a strong flavor of cloves. Overall a good chai!

★★★★★

I love chai tea and this one is one of my favorite. It has more of a kick to than the ones you get from a supermarket.

★★★★★

This chai is great! I'm really glad I went ahead and bought a whole pound of it. I was surprised to find how many whole cloves are in this, but they taste great in chai so I'm not complaining. The spices in this chai become somewhat overwhelming if steeped too long, but really only if I forget about it for more than 8 or 10 minutes.

This is my go-to tea when I'm on the run to school. Its a great spicy tea that helps to really wake you up in the morning. It still manages to taste good even when you forget about it for a bit longer then intended.

As with most chai I add a little honey and milk to my cup. This blend is full of flavor and is great hot or chilled.

Chai tea was my introduction to the tea world! Suffering from an extreme case of strep throat, I gave up my assured hatred of tea for the warmth and soothing comfort it gave my throat. After awhile I began to have a taste for all kinds of teas that remind me of the spicy taste of chai. Spiced teas have always hit the spot for me with its blend of so many different kinds. I sometimes love to put milk in it, add whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon over the top. Perfect.

This is my 'go to' every morning iced tea blend.

★★★★★

I love the spice of this tea. Just smelling the dry tea reminds me of the Far East. Drinking it is even better. And this tea is one I blend with Thai Chai, honeybush hazelnut and lemon grass to make my custom blend - Mucci's Mix!

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite Adagio tea and has become by every morning treat. Spicy enough with a unique flavor. My only qualm is that Adagio recommends using two teaspoons which makes the bag go way too fast.

★★★★★

This is a wonderfully spiced tea. I drink it with cream or soy milk depending on my mood and it's simply delightful. Very rich and warm flavor.

★★★★★

By far the best chai I've ever made at home. Full flavored but not bitter or astringent, with great harmony across the various spices' contributions.

★★☆☆☆

Not spicy enough for me. I stopped drinking Teavana's Maharaja Chai/Samurai Chai Tea Blend because it has artificial flavor. still looking for something that lives up to that bold flavor.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas of all time. I cannot rave enough about the flavor, the balance, the warmth, and the depth of this blend. Adagio knows how to do it right.

★★★★☆

Seems to be a very bold chai spice. It is a very warming tea, for those of you with acid reflux I would not drink this. For most people its good to have on occasion but not a daily tea to drink.

★☆☆☆☆

Not my cup of tea. I didnt like the small at all. So i gave the sample bag to a friend, and they loved it. So maybe its just me. :)

★★★★★

This is my favorite chai tea so far. The spices create a comforting smell, and this is my go-to-tea for relaxing or warming up first thing in the morning.

★★★★★

this is a delightful chai. while i did enjoy the spiced apple chai more, this is great for when you just want a simple cup of spiced tea.

★★★★☆

Very spicy. This tea has the unique distinction of being rather agreeable to two people with completely opposite tastes.

★★★☆☆

It's nice, but not earth-shattering. A little sweetener helps bring out the spicy notes. I'm still searching for my chai holy grail.

For years this was my go-to tea. I adored it, probably lived off it at times. However, something changed between my last bag and my most recent order.

The previous bag was spine tinglingly spicy. When I opened it, ginger and cloves flooded your senses. A seven minute brew (half milk, half water) yielded a sublime morning wake up call.

The new bag smells sweet in comparison. It's almost like someone drenched the leaves in honey before they dried them. The ginger scent I adored is barely present. Simply put, it smelled wrong, but I still tried it.

This tea is not nearly as spicy as it was a few months ago. It also has an odd aftertaste. I hesitate to say this, but the aftertaste reminds me of the time I accidentally sprayed counter cleaner on my tea cup. Not pleasant.

It's still drinkable, but what was a 'great' tea is now merely okay.

This is the perfect tea for a cold Oregon morning. Add a little milk and it's good to go.

★★★★☆

It was lovely but a bit strong. For me, the clove was overpowering even after I added a bit of honey but I'm sensitive.
