A classic chai flavor, spicy and warm and delicious. Perfect with a good dose of milk and some honey!
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

A classic chai flavor, spicy and warm and delicious. Perfect with a good dose of milk and some honey!
what a treat ...a real CHAI tea unlike anything I have tasted from the general public coffee houses. LOVE IT!
The spice to this tea is nice. It seems like a good tea to have with some whipped cream on top, especially with winter on its way.
This is everything you want in a chai. It's warm and sweet and spicy. I brew it very strong and add low fat coconut milk for a great latte. Add some vanilla black tea for something extra rich.
This is one of my favorite Chai's. I made it with Almond Milk and it was very good.
I was very surprised by this tea! I had had a lot of disappointment with brewing pre-made chai tea, loose leaf or otherwise, so when I got a sample of this masala chai, I was expecting it to be too weak. I was surprised by how full the flavor was with this one! It tastes just as good as anything you can get at a coffee house. I'll be buying a full size bag.
One of my favorite teas of all time. Good brewed the old-fashioned way with water, or brewed in milk with your preferred sweetener. I like honey in mine when I'm under the weather, makes me feel much better.
Classic chai tea. I steep it, following the package time and temp, in almond milk for a special treat. Great spicy kick on a chilly fall day.
What you would expect when you hear Chai. Steep in boiling water 4-5 minutes, add a splash of milk and spoonful of honey and it's great!
I have really been enjoying this. With whole cloves and lots of cinnamon, this is a chai for people who love spice.
Okay, hands down perfect tea. I don't think I'll be trying anything else as this is just.. the best. It's just so good, add a little cream and this is the perfect tea. And it works as a potpourri as well. I take the used tea and put it in a pot on the back burner with some water on simmer and the whole house smells amazing.
The tea is delicious with some milk and honey without being overpowered by it.
Pretty good. I'd prefer a spicier chai, but I think that's just me.
Robust tea with a good spice profile. Solid flavors and real pick-me-up in the morning. I add a few orange peel slivers into the infusion, which adds to the overall character. Nice alternative to coffee if you'd like to change things up in the morning.
This is a really good classic chai, but it works best mixed with another tea IMHO
Goes great with milk (or almond milk if you're dairy-free). Also it definitely has a strong caffeine kick... I like to brew it extra strong and drink it in the morning. Usually I dont keep track of the time I steep it maybe around 10-15 minutes, which hasn't affected the flavor.
Delicious! I received a chocolate chai sample before and didn't really notice much chocolate taste, but this is just plain tasty with some honey.
It's a little to spicey for my taste !! If you like more kick then this is for you !!!
I went in expecting so much from this tea because it smelled divine. Once I actually tasted it though, it didn't taste like anything special. Not that it was bad, just your average chai tea.
This tea really gets my motor running. It's excellent with or without milk and honey. I can see myself buying lots of it. Currently my first cup in the morning.
I love trying every chai blend that adagio creates, and this is my all time favorite! Brewed with a dash of warm milk and honey, its spiced, toasty heaven in a cup.
Oh, Masala Chai... I love this tea. I just don't love THIS version. All I could taste was clove, clove, clove, clove and cinnamon. I was missing the cardamon and peppery flavors. On the bright side, I've been mixing a little with other teas to get the clove/cinnamon spice flavor. However, I do not think I would ever drink this tea alone.
Very astringent and left a bad mouthfeel. Tasted kind of like boiled treebark with spices. I am beginning to realize that I don't want flavors added to tea. I realize that this is one of my personal idiosynchrasies and will bear this in mind as I resupply.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I don't like it with milk/sugar. Love it without though, so... still a winner! :D
I blend this with rooibos chai for a half-caf version of a chai latte in the afternoons. Gives me that 'real tea' experience and keeps me from being up all night.
A perfect blend of spices. Not too spicy, but not too weak. Excellent with cream and honey.
I really enjoy the chai teas for the cinnamon flavors. This mixes well with the blood orange tea
Woah...just woah. This is the pinnacle of chai teas. Beautifully bodied, but not over-spiced. Add some warm milk and sugar, and you have the perfect chai. No need to drink those heartbreaking tea-in-a-box lattes from coffee shops anymore. Step your game up
In my opinion, the best of the chais on Adagio. Nice strong spicy flavor, and doesn't oversteep as easily as some store-bought chais I've tried. It's good plain or with milk and/or sugar.
I brewed this at 7 mins and then at 4 mins. It is too spice-filled for me either way even with milk and sugar. However, it is very cool to watch it brewing. The cloves float to the top and the aroma is divine.
A very nice basic chai tea. It's great on its own or blended with other teas.
This stuff is DELICIOUS! I had never had cloves in my tea before, and even though its strange at first, its awesome. This is an excellent 'warm your bones' tea. Actually, I finished off the rest of a mint tea by putting it with this. It gave it an interesting layer. I would definitely mix the two again.
Awesome with some honey and milk! This is a really flavorful chai--I love it to spice up my mornings
I love the underlying mellowness of the tea that is paired with the spice. It's definitely one of my favorite teas to drink. If I were to recommend a chai for someone to start with, I would put Masala Chai as a number one pick.
A very solid masala chai blend...not the best I've ever had, but definitely satisfactory.
Great tea. Depending seemingly on you mood you either get huge clove or huge cinnamon nose from this.
This is an awesome chai because while it's not as -strong- in the sense of a full-bodied black tea as I'd expect, the flavor packs a bunch--drink this, and you will be feeling the after-tingle of ginger on your tongue for quite some time. Fantastic with milk and honey, or without. Any way you brew it, it's a win-win, just make sure to err on the longer side of the steeping time. Not as satisfactory if you're in a rush.
Classic chai flavor: warm and spicy. This is best served with milk and sweetener of some sort for best effect. It also take mixing with other complementary flavored teas well.
My Favorite out of all the chai tea's I've tried from this site. Def. has all the spicy flavor I love.
Best Indian aroma tea :) very happy. The spice mix was perfect.
I had never really had chai before, so I don't really have much to compare this one to, but I liked it. Sweet and spicy, very much a fall or winter drink with a bit of sugar and a splash of milk, I think.
This was a lovely tea! The spice wasn't too overwhelming, and it warmed me up nicely.
It was absolutely amazing. I had both the loose leaf and the teabag. It is really spicy! No one spice is overpowering though. Absolutely the best Masala Chai I've had.
I like the strong cinnamon flavor in this tea. I am a big fan of chai teas since I now know how to brew them. Add boiling water for two minutes, then pour in nearly boiling vanilla soy milk for another three minutes. Add a touch of honey to your cup. Yum!
Very tasty chai blend. The flavor is just right although there seem to be more spices than black tea. Besides drinking it plain, I have also brewed it into apple cider for a nice spiced hot cider.
Good old fashioned caffienated spicy chai. Great by itself, or as a base note for blends.
The smell is lovely! I got four resteeps off of this one without losing any of the strength, and I could've gone for a fifth. It's a nice, spicy chai.
I really enjoy how diverse Chai can be, and how every recipe is unique. I am a fan of Chai and this tea is very satisfying.
It's a nice Masala Chai. I always drink my tea unsweetened, and so this one left a little something to be desired--I thought it would have a stronger cinnamon flavor to it, but it's still enjoyable nonetheless.
A reordering of this tea is a cause for celebration in my home. Without a doubt everyone's fav! Wonderfully spiced without being too heavy. Great with either milk or straight sugar - prefer it with sugar alone personally.
