I discovered I love chai, but not chai that's entirely loaded with ginger. I know this is a staple of chai, but for some reason, every version of this I've ever had is just too gingery for my taste. So if you like heavy-ginger teas, you'll probably like this one!

This is great for when I want a spicy tea without the sweetness. I like this tea a lot in blends, but it is also fantastic on its own. The flavor is strong enough but doesn't punch you in the face. It is delicious with a little milk.

Love this chai! The apple is my favorite, but this one is also quite nice, just a tad spicier and not as sweet as the apple.

This is a very good basic chai. I like it best brewed in vanilla almond milk instead of water.
Okay, so I ordered this because everyone I know always is raving about chai, and starbucks' soy chai latte, so I thought I'd give this a try. The tea smells delicious when opening the packet. I was so excited to try it I had to right away. So I brewed up 8 ounces of tea and then put in about 4 or 5 pieces of amber rock sugar then about 4 oz of milk... I tried it and it was gross. I think if I didn't add the milk I would have loved it. I couldn't drink it so I tossed it down the drain and re did it. I brewed 6 oz of the chai (with a huge teaspoon this time)... then I only add a splash of whole milk and it is delicious! I think I might have found my new morning cuppa. This also tastes delicious with Adagio's vanilla chai cookies!
I just started drinking tea so i really did not know what to expect. I would have to say that this tea is pretty good
I did not like the over all flavor of the tea.or the spiciness
When I get it right, it's amazing. But I have so much trouble getting it there, it's more hassle than it's worth, which is a pity since the perfect times were amazing.
this was ok, but it was a little bitter and not as spicy as I like. IT wasn't bad, just wasn't what I was looking for in a chai.
The flavors are bright and clean in this tea. I've had more complex chai's, but this is a pretty good basic and you could jazz it up with saffron, anise, or fresh ginger if you wanted a more interesting tea.
Not sure what I expected when I got this sample, but it is a delightfully spicy mix, perfect for countering winter storms.
Update on original review: This is my husband's favorite tea. I will enjoy it with him once in a while, but the spices don't always sit well with my tummy. After steeping, I add a teaspoon of honey and a bit of cream. He loves it!

Somewhat spicy, very rich. I use cream for this, or half and half. It's a good tea for a kick in the rear for energy.

This is my favorite chai from Adagio for sure. It's got a warm taste that just feels like curling up in front of a fire on a cold day.

Pretty boring compared to the masala I got from the Savannah Tea Room. Added a few peppercorns and it was still bland - tried boiling several heaping tablespoons in a pot for about ten minutes, then adding hot almond milk and a little heavy cream and what I got was boring, slightly flavored almond milk. Not really a good chai at all.
I like this chai a lot. I like it black and with honey and milk.
This was given to me as a gift. I have never had chai tea before and it took me a few times to get it right. Its very strong and really spicy it will leave a warm feeling in your mouth. Its a very different experience. Give it a shot its perfect for winter!

Its hard to find a truly good masala chai out there, however this is just that. A perfect blend of spice and zest that tastes great with just a splash of warm milk.

This is a classic chai that tastes particularly great when brewed with honey and milk. It is impossible to go wrong with masala chai!
This is a good, solid chai, and one of the best I've had from a ready-mixed tea rather than a homemade multi-day-brewed concentrate. It's got nice spice that doesn't disappear with sugar and milk, and you can steep it a little longer to draw those notes out without worrying about the tea getting too bitter.
Love this tea! It's even more seasonally fragrant than the spiced apple chai and rooibos vanilla chai put together! The hint of sweetness is also a plus
Not great, but just ok, very average chai. Could have a bit more bite.
A very gentle tea. I enjoyed it, but perhaps I didn't steep long enough -- it wasn't as strong as I expected.
