For my first taste of the Masala Chai, I was planning to have it with some milk and sugar. Sadly, there was no milk left in the fridge when it was time for me to add it to my brewed tea, but it turned out pretty good with just sugar. I cannot wait to try it again, but this time with milk. I have a feeling it will be awesome.
If you want a classic chai, this is it. It smells amazing out of the bag and the spices are warm and comforting but not overwhelming.
Good chai, but personally I like Christmas and Pu Erh Spice a bit better, as I think the flavors come out a little more in those.

This is so far my favorite Chai teas. It fulfills it's name, being a 'Spiced Tea.' When I think of Chai, I think of this tea.
This tea was gone in NO time! I have a cup after lunch every day and the spices are so warm and hearty they complete my meal and give refreshing aroma to the senses. This will be a staple in my tea chest.
This isn't my favorite chai. It has a nice smell and taste but nothing really made it stand out for me. It isn't spicy at all really and it doesn't have any flavors that make it stand out for me. I'll definitely get this again though so I can try blending it with other teas.
Not as complex as I had hoped it would be, but it's still a very pleasant chai. Sugar and milk make it way better.

it's got a good caffeine hit, but it's way way too clove heavy for my tastes, and this seems to mask most of the other spices apart from the ginger. It got slightly better with more milk, This is a real shame as I love chai. I think I'll try brewing it slightly weaker.
Probably will not re-purchase, and will play with the timings and amounts to suit me better.
What a nice, pleasant and delicious tea. When I don't really know what I want, I go for this tea. It's absolutely delicious.
I discovered I love chai, but not chai that's entirely loaded with ginger. I know this is a staple of chai, but for some reason, every version of this I've ever had is just too gingery for my taste. So if you like heavy-ginger teas, you'll probably like this one!

This is great for when I want a spicy tea without the sweetness. I like this tea a lot in blends, but it is also fantastic on its own. The flavor is strong enough but doesn't punch you in the face. It is delicious with a little milk.

Love this chai! The apple is my favorite, but this one is also quite nice, just a tad spicier and not as sweet as the apple.

Okay, so I ordered this because everyone I know always is raving about chai, and starbucks' soy chai latte, so I thought I'd give this a try. The tea smells delicious when opening the packet. I was so excited to try it I had to right away. So I brewed up 8 ounces of tea and then put in about 4 or 5 pieces of amber rock sugar then about 4 oz of milk... I tried it and it was gross. I think if I didn't add the milk I would have loved it. I couldn't drink it so I tossed it down the drain and re did it. I brewed 6 oz of the chai (with a huge teaspoon this time)... then I only add a splash of whole milk and it is delicious! I think I might have found my new morning cuppa. This also tastes delicious with Adagio's vanilla chai cookies!
I just started drinking tea so i really did not know what to expect. I would have to say that this tea is pretty good

When I get it right, it's amazing. But I have so much trouble getting it there, it's more hassle than it's worth, which is a pity since the perfect times were amazing.
this was ok, but it was a little bitter and not as spicy as I like. IT wasn't bad, just wasn't what I was looking for in a chai.
The flavors are bright and clean in this tea. I've had more complex chai's, but this is a pretty good basic and you could jazz it up with saffron, anise, or fresh ginger if you wanted a more interesting tea.
Not sure what I expected when I got this sample, but it is a delightfully spicy mix, perfect for countering winter storms.
Update on original review: This is my husband's favorite tea. I will enjoy it with him once in a while, but the spices don't always sit well with my tummy. After steeping, I add a teaspoon of honey and a bit of cream. He loves it!

Somewhat spicy, very rich. I use cream for this, or half and half. It's a good tea for a kick in the rear for energy.
