This tea has a nice flavor, but it is a bit weak for our tastes. We have to use several extra spoonfuls for each pot.
This is an excellent chai. It's not as spicy as some that I have tried, but it has a lovely, warm pop to it, and lots of spices. I added a generous amount of honey and milk to this tea.

An excellent standard chai. Clove is decidedly the dominant note, with enough of it to numb the tongue slightly. Pleasant enough on its own, but smoother with a bit of sweetener and milk (I use plain, unsweetened almond milk with a touch of honey).

Severely heavy on clove. Had to drown it in honey to make it drinkable. Would not repeat.
I compared this tea with authentic masala my friend brought from India and can confirm, it's pretty similar. Therefore I like it the same as original Indian masala.

This is my favorite chai on the entire site! With some soy creamer, this is truly the drink of the gods. It's so good, rebrews well, and always brings a little happiness to my mornings.

This was ok but it was too spicy for me. My tongue actually felt a little numb or 'burned' by the spiciness. I add an equal part of milk and it helped but I prefer a much milder chai. I also added 2 teaspoons of sugar. The flavor is good just a little much on the spicy side. Maybe next time I will steep it a shorter time and see if that help tame down the 'heat'. I wouldn't order this again. I'm still in search of that perfect chai. My Mom would bring me an amazing vanilla chai latte from the coffee shop she worked at in New York. Well, I guess the quest continues...
Warm and spicy with a beautiful color to the end result of brewing. The scent itself make you envision a marketplace in India. Clove and cinnamon were the dominant notes, with a very smooth black tea in the background.
I am very impressed by this chai tea. I was looking for one similar to the kind served in Indian restaurants I have been to and this is just way better than what I have had.
I generally do not drink chai teas, but this is a good tea with milk and sugar added. It is spiced enough to make a good chai tea, but the spices are not overwhelming.

This tea is delicious! Spicy and good, just like chai should be. Served with milk and honey, and WOW! Yummy.
This masala chai is OK. Maybe I haven't figured out how to fix it right. Steeping it in water makes it too spicy and not creamy enough (even with added cream). steeping it in hot milk makes it too weak. I will have to continue to experiment with it to see if I can make the perfect chai with this tea.
I really liked the ginger and clove in this. It made for a great cup of tea!
I love this tea. When I first opened the bag and smelled it, the clove scent was very strong, but once it was brewed, it was perfect. I used a little milk and some sweetener and it was amazing even though I may have (accidentally,of course) let it steep too long. It didn't get bitter and still tasted amazing.
I like a really strong chai and was hoping this would hit the mark. It's good but it's missing that hit of black pepper that would really take it over the top.
Chais and I do not tend to get along, usually. They tend to be far too spicy for my tastes. I have had masala chais before that weren't so strong, more on the brown-sugar and spices side rather than the clear-out-your-sinuses side. This masala is unique. It's neither very sweet nor very spicy. It's definitely a bitter tea, and since I like my teas sweet, it took a fair amount of sugar to ease the strength. For those who like bitter-strong teas, this one should be on your list to try, but if you prefer sweet-strong blends, you may want to try a different chai.
This is some tasty stuff, especially for the evening.
I've tried at least half a dozen chai teas, and this is one of my favorites. It's got a wonderful, spicey, rich flavor. I, however, only used one scoop for 8 oz of hot water instead of the recommended two, and it was perfect.
My wife and I absolutely love this tea. It is a great wind down tea good for the evening.
I LOVE chai.
It did take me a while to figure out how much tea I'll need, and how much sugar and milk I'll need to add to make the perfect cuppa for myself. Once I figured that out, oh CHAI. This one is great and chai is just great over all :)
I love chai tea in particular so I am pretty picky when it comes to chai. This was a good traditional chai. but I was expecting more of a punch, more cardamom would have made it more of my ideal chai but by far waaaay better than a silly tea bag from the supermarket - tasted much fresher as most loose teas do. It wasn't as dark as my typical chai but that's ok too.

This is a very good blend, though not enough ginger for my taste. That will not stop me from purchasing this again. This tea is perfect with sugar, some warmed milk and a bit of pumpkin pie spice blend sprinkled on top.
This is the best chai I've ever been able to just brew at home. I've tried other chais, but none of them have ever come close. I definitely recommend this with milk and honey.
Everything a good spicy chai should be. If you haven't tried a latte with this mix, you're missing out.

Good tea. Not too spicy. A lot better than competitor's chai teas. Not too peppery and a nice smooth exotic taste.
Mmmmmm.. Chai is my absolute favorite and this tea did not disappoint. Perfect blend of spices. Love this on its own or mixed with rooibos, and I tried it mixed with the lemongrass tea today and it was amazing! Definitely ordering the 16oz next time.
Great tea! Has a nice spicy flavor that's not overpowering. If you're a huge fan of chair like me, you definitely need to get this one!
This is also another one of my sample purchases. The description of what it contains sounds great. However on brewing it the taste was ok but the after taste of ginger root and clove was overpowering.
Bought a sample of this to test against another Chai (to see which one I preferred). Masala Chai won, hands down. If you LOVE cinnamon, like I do, then this is the one for you. Warm, and spicy, and cinnamon-y. Yum... but not too spicy or cinnamon-y to allow the other spices like the ginger and the cardamom to sneak through. Very good, with or without milk/sugar. Stands on it's own just perfectly.
Tasty and spicy, but a bit fiddly to balance with milk and honey to get the perfect cup. I've yet to try brewing with hot milk because I don't have any sachets or a tea ball. I'm strictly a tea pot kind of girl.
This looseleaf take on a tea I usually find in the form of a pre-mixed sugar syrup or bagged tea is the nicest I've had. The black tea is a wake up call, and the spices add a beautiful sharpness and light amount of smoke to it. It's the chai you always wanted but can't find without the sugary nonsense!
