★★★☆☆

A wonderful, traditional chai. Great with sugar and milk/milk substitute. Tasty hot or iced.

I've masala from scratch, and this is way more convenient. Don't forget to add cream after steeping, or it will taste watery and bitter.

★★★☆☆

This chai blend tends towards a spicier bite than some other blends. I prefer a smoother spice. If you like a strong spice then you will like this blend.

★★★★★

This tea is great with dessert or after a greasy meal. It seems to cleanse the palate and ease digestion. It is so tasty that I want to have another cup. I know the spices are good for me too.

I tried all the Chai teas. This one was very good! I loved it so much! I will be purchasing this again.

★★★★★

Robust, mellow flavor. Long steep doesn't make it bitter. Love mine Indian style, with sugar and milk.

Just delicious! I really enjoy it with a touch of maple syrup and splash of creamer.

One of my favorite teas. Definitely my favorite chai tea. It has a good flavor with a lot of character

While it is not my favourite tea, I still enjoyed it.

Love this chai. It has a great smell and an even better taste. I like to make my own Chai tea lattes with oat milk. Yummy!

You can’t beat this chai tea. It’s the epitome of chai tea. What everyone thinks of when they imagine it. Rich, strong, spicy. All the things. Brew extra strong to make your own lattes. Add rose syrup and steamed milk for an amazing experience.

This was my first experience with chai and I’ve discovered I like chai… a lot!

★★★★★

LOVE this chai. Perfectly spicy and makes a great chai latte. The suggested steeping time is longer than other chais I've tried (7-10 min instead of 5). I don't always steep it this long but it always turns out good.

★★★☆☆

It was okay the flavor was really weak but it might be because I steep mine in cold water.

★★★★★

Great blend, good amount of spice. My husband loves this one.

★☆☆☆☆

Had no flavors besides a small hint of black tea. I purchased a box after trying samples, which had strong flavors but I was fooled. Samples tasted great and not sure why these boxes of tea weren't the same quality. Disappointed.

★★★☆☆

The flavor of this masala chai is on the strong side. A bit too much cardamon perhaps can be overpowering. I have decided to mix a bit of this chai with my other teas in order to get the chair boost but not in an overpowering way. Fundamentally, a good tea, but a bit beyond my expectations.

★★★★★

Definitely a fan of this one. The cloves remind me of the holidays. Like Christmas in a cup!

I lived in Nepal for 6 months and opening this bag of tea smelled just like being back in the country! It hits the flavor combo perfectly for a Nepali/Indian taste. It has a big punch of spice- typical of the Asian forms of Chai. Steep it for the amount of time suggested and then drizzle some cream or milk to smooth it out. Add some sugar to really bring out the flavor. Thank you for bringing back memories!

★★★★★

I really enjoy this one blended. I hated it at first, but in mixes, it’s pretty great! It’s very strong, maybe once you’re acquainted with the intense flavor you’ll enjoy it more on its own. I mix with Irish Breakfast and Raja Oolong Chai and I think I’ll purchase more when I run out.

This was surprisingly good I didn’t think I would like it being spiced but I was wrong. Not only was is very good it mixed well with honey making a tea unlike any I’ve tried but still good. The many spices work well together.

★★★★★

I use one tea spoon for a 10-12oz cup. It's just mesmerizing. No bitterness; all flavors blend smoothly. My go to chai for either drinking standalone or with mixing with milk.

I really enjoy this blend. I have a friend who comes and we brew a pot of this and enjoy every drop. Follow instructions on package for a great cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Zesty and spicy chai! Not quite my favorite chai, but pretty close.

This tea was nice but it didn’t have the spice that I typically enjoy from a masala chai.

Delicious, not earthy like some masala chais are. Cardamom is the most present spice. This tea mixes really well with a lot of others.

A nice mild tea perfectly suitable for an introduction into chai blends. Adding a little extra cinnamon and sweetener can help to zazz it up a little.

A lovely standard chai. Tastes great on a chilly morning with a splash of oat milk!

As far as chais go, this one is a solid option. If you aren’t a big chai drinker (raises hand), the spices are still balanced enough to make a pleasant cup without overpowering the senses, which is appreciated!

One of my favorite chais out there, hands down. I love it as it's simple and it's super easy to make and just let it go.

UPDATE 2/15/2023: Today we are having this nice spicy tea again. I’m so glad that I read my previous review as well as the comments of others. This time I increased the temp to 200F and brewed it for 5 minutes. That ended up being perfect way to go. It gave me more of the spice flavor I was wanting last time. I don’t add anything to my tea - no milk or creamer, and no sweetener. I updated my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. It’s delicious and I highly recommend it.

Nice spicy drink although I wouldn’t have minded having even more spice flavors to it. Maybe I will use less water next time.

Masala Chai. I love chai, it's what got me into tea. This blend just doesn't make my taste buds dance. I tried it once before and didn't like it at all, but since I got a sample in my communiTEA I thought I'd give it another try.
This time I used 2 tsp of tea and 8 oz of water. I also added two additional green cardamom pods (from selefina) and smashed them in a mortar.
Let the tea seep for 7minutes. Added 2oz of vanilla soy milk and a tsp of honey. And still it was just ok.
I've found my best chai is a blend of my own with more cinnamon than clove, boiled on the stove and thoroughly aerated.
****After the tea was chilled, it was more enjoyable 4-stara

This was a good chai. It was a little strong for me but that was likely a steeping error on my part (I had to go attend to small children things and forgot that I made tea). But I added some milk and made a little tea latte. I think my husband would like it

★★★☆☆

Communitea: This is a little overspiced for me. I would try it again to see if it is an off day/batch.

For me this is a very spicy tea…..actually too spicy. But adding a dash of milk and honey mellowed it out and I ended up liking it. I have always taken my tea black but I’m learning some tea for me needs a little extra something.

This was great with cream and sugar. I brewed for full 10 mins to get it nice and strong and even got a second brew that I didn't add anything to and it was quite nice

★★★★★

This is a great chai blend. Out of the package, the spices hit you right away but are not overpowering. The spices are warming and the blend is awesome hot or cold.

★★★★★

This is as an excellent chai! I made it a latte. The spices are well proportioned.

CommuniTEA portion: 10 minute steep at 195. As someone who used to drink exclusively chai tea, I think I wore my tastebuds out. But this sip was outstanding. The balance and depth of the spices really paired well with the base black. Drank it plain but clearly would make a great latte. Thumbs up!

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with the spicy aromas of clove and ginger. I steeped it for about 5 minutes. This Masala Chai is filled with delicious, spicy flavor. I particularly enjoyed the notes of cardamom. A wonderful chai to enjoy year round!

To be fair, I'm not a big fan of chai tea because most have an overload of cardamom and clove. The tea smelled divine after brewing, but I cheated and added a splash of almond milk to my cup and turned it into a chai tea latte, (which apparently people are willing to pay over $6 for at SB's!) The milk mellowed out the ginger and cinnamon, and made the tea far more tolerable. Not a bad tea, but not something I would drink everyday.

Masala Chai is spicy and warm, a great chai full of strong flavor. I like to mellow most of my chai teas out with some sweetened condensed milk and this one is especially good that way, melding the flavors together into a warm smooth zing.

Mmmm spicy! First, I couldn’t stop sniffing this before I brewed it. So aromatic! I steeped it for 10 minutes, and it was very strong, in a good way. So much ginger that it burns a bit, but in a good way! I had a few sips plain, then added a splash of milk. The milk smoothed it out a bit but still let all the boldness through.

★★★★★

A lovely chai..classic!..Great to have in the stash to have for days of needed warmth or to share in tea-time with friends who have a hankerin' for basic chai... with less flair than the myraid of other Adagio chai options.

I'm a huge chai fan. This one is nice and spicy, just the way I like it! My cup tasted a bit light on the black tea end, but it could have just been my sample packet.

While not my favorite chai out there this was still very tasty.

Update: I much prefer this chai in Mai Chai which is an amazing blend..
