This is a really good, proper masala chai. It's heavy on the clove, which I like, but I know that's not for everyone. Would like a little sweetness or creaminess to balance the intensity of the cloves and ginger, but a little cream or honey or something could help that.

I love the spices in this tea. They taste like you make Chai with the frsh spices you just chopped.

Very spicy! I enjoy this a lot in the mornings with some milk and sugar. Personally I think it isn't rich or 'full' enough without the milk, its kind of harsh tasting. But adding the smallest bit of milk and simple syrup really helps.

This tea is good, but we like the Raja better for making Chai syrup for our lattes.

This is such a delicious and fall spiced Chai. So tasty!

A fairly typical appearance for a chai. Brews a fairly light color even using a heavy hand for the amount of tea. The flavor is mild for a chai, but what is there is pleasant. An addition of milk and sugar are of course needed for any chai IMHO. Ultimately I feel like this need a spice or two to punch it up and a stronger base tea. I little ginger and/or anise would be a fitting addition to get that punch. I'll definitely drink the rest of my sample, but doubt I'll reorder in the future.

I've bought this tea for my dad multiple times now. He loves it and goes through it quickly despite not previously drinking tea often. He has asked for it for Christmas again!
★★★★★
I really did like this tea and would definitely re-order if it wasn't for the high caffeine content.
★★★★★
all the right spice notes I'm looking for in a good chai. I cut it with the Tumeric chai blend for a little more anti-inflammatory action.
My go-to for after lunch!

By itself I was unable to get the taste that I had recently experienced when travelling in India and enjoying masala chai here. I added some plain black tea and enjoyed that a lot.

Pretty basic and straightforward chai. Not my ultimate favorite but still satisfies on gross, cold rainy fall days.
★★★★★
such a great chai. i like to steep it for the full 10 minutes with 1 1/2 of the recommended spoonful.
★★★★★
Hands down my absolute favorite chai! I love mixing it with other chais too! One tsp of masala with a tsp of the Thai chai is freaking delicious!

This is a very ginger-forward chai, with a small bite of clove balancing out the ginger warmth. It has a heady scent and a strong flavor.
The cardamom and cinnamon are not particularly present. If you want those flavors in your chai, then this tea is not for you; however, if you like a strong ginger tea, this is well worth a try.

To me this tastes like what you would expect a chai tea to taste like. I didn't find anything particularly special about it. If you are looking for a standard chai, I think this one fits. As an update to this review, if I add a little zero calorie sweetener and a little cream, it rivals anything you might get at a fancy coffee shop. Saves me a bundle to make my own!

If your after that chai flavor look no further this is definitely the tea you crave

Great 'standard' masala chai; I use more than what is recommended when adding milk and a sweetener.
★★★★★
I brew this for 8 minutes and it is perfect. Less than 8 minutes and it's not strong enough for me. My spouse really likes it too.
★★★★★
I only used one teaspoon in my cup. I guess maybe next time I’ll try two as instructed. Cloves are front and center with this blend. I like it better than the Raja chai I sampled this morning.

Strong and full of spice, great for fall and warming up when it's cool out. I enjoyed the lingering taste of cinnamon and the other spices in the back of the mouth after each sip. I get the impression that this is what real chai is meant to be--worlds better than teabags from the supermarket. Great with milk and sugar, and probably also good without if you don't brew it as long.

I use lots for extra richness!! It’s great with milk, as I usually drink it, but also iced or by itself. A must-have in your tea collection.

Fantastic Chai that I usually make every morning with a splash of soy milk. It is also excellent as a cold brew.

This is a solid chai tea, nothing exceptional but worth the price. I prefer the chocolate chai pu erh but if chocolate isn't your thing id go for this tea

This was so warm and robust with all the spirit of an Autumn evening. I used both sugar and caramel creamer...and the flavor was superb!

My go-to chai, but what keeps it from 5 stars is that it's a little too clove-heavy. If only I could tweak the recipe a little!

Nice and spicy. A good balance of flavors. I drink this iced as well as
hot. I add milk if I drink it hot
★★★★★
Much better than I was anticipating. Tastes on it's own or with milk. I like to double up to two teaspoons, though that might be too spicy for some tastes. I may also try to brew it in half milk half water for a more authentic chai preparation.
★★★★★
Good standard chai. Good blend of tea and spice that went well with milk and sugar. Black, felt a little astringent, but not overly so. For personal taste choices, I add a few clove buds to my future baskets.
