I really did like this tea and would definitely re-order if it wasn't for the high caffeine content.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

I really did like this tea and would definitely re-order if it wasn't for the high caffeine content.
all the right spice notes I'm looking for in a good chai. I cut it with the Tumeric chai blend for a little more anti-inflammatory action.
My go-to for after lunch!
By itself I was unable to get the taste that I had recently experienced when travelling in India and enjoying masala chai here. I added some plain black tea and enjoyed that a lot.
Pretty basic and straightforward chai. Not my ultimate favorite but still satisfies on gross, cold rainy fall days.
such a great chai. i like to steep it for the full 10 minutes with 1 1/2 of the recommended spoonful.
Hands down my absolute favorite chai! I love mixing it with other chais too! One tsp of masala with a tsp of the Thai chai is freaking delicious!
This is a very ginger-forward chai, with a small bite of clove balancing out the ginger warmth. It has a heady scent and a strong flavor.
The cardamom and cinnamon are not particularly present. If you want those flavors in your chai, then this tea is not for you; however, if you like a strong ginger tea, this is well worth a try.
This tea remains one of my favorites. It is even better with a little bit of cream. No sugar required!
So delicious! Love how adagio has so many great tea options at great prices. Love this tea
To me this tastes like what you would expect a chai tea to taste like. I didn't find anything particularly special about it. If you are looking for a standard chai, I think this one fits. As an update to this review, if I add a little zero calorie sweetener and a little cream, it rivals anything you might get at a fancy coffee shop. Saves me a bundle to make my own!
If your after that chai flavor look no further this is definitely the tea you crave
Love this tea! Spicy, flavorful, and warm. I love it with a splash of milk and honey but it is delicious plain as well
Great 'standard' masala chai; I use more than what is recommended when adding milk and a sweetener.
I brew this for 8 minutes and it is perfect. Less than 8 minutes and it's not strong enough for me. My spouse really likes it too.
I only used one teaspoon in my cup. I guess maybe next time I’ll try two as instructed. Cloves are front and center with this blend. I like it better than the Raja chai I sampled this morning.
This is one of my favorite tea’s. I enjoy this with a splash of almond cream - it’s delicious!
Strong and full of spice, great for fall and warming up when it's cool out. I enjoyed the lingering taste of cinnamon and the other spices in the back of the mouth after each sip. I get the impression that this is what real chai is meant to be--worlds better than teabags from the supermarket. Great with milk and sugar, and probably also good without if you don't brew it as long.
Delicious black tea with exotic spice flavors, interesting taste
Very nice spicy tea for a change of pace, a little bit of cream tops it off nicely.
Amazing flavor. I love chia teas so much and this just hits the spot.
I use lots for extra richness!! It’s great with milk, as I usually drink it, but also iced or by itself. A must-have in your tea collection.
Fantastic Chai that I usually make every morning with a splash of soy milk. It is also excellent as a cold brew.
This tea is true to the chai flavors that enthusiasts will expect. Spicy without being overwhelming.
This tea was good but gave me heartburn.. Could be the cloves that’s in it.. But it tasted good..
Masala Chai is my absolute favorite flavor I've ordered over the last 10 years. Amazing flavor, and aroma. Makes you feel all warm inside..
So good, so good, this is so stupid good. Hot or cold, this is my favorite tea!
It’s a solid masala chai with a nice mix of spices.
So delicious. It's like tasting all the warmth of a fall day. If you like masala tea from anywhere else, this will become your new favorite version. Just a heads up, it is very strong black pepper taste.
I mix some of the fiery cinnamon spice tea for a bit more spice
This tea has a really nice strong flavor without being bitter. I would recommend adding honey and a bit of milk to it.
Wow! I have had a lot of Chai tea in my life, and I have to say this one ranks as one of the best ever, the spices are perfectly balanced and the tea is smooth and delicious, this will be a forever staple in my tea space
love this tea!! it’s great with some frothed oatmilk, mixed with white chai, or mixed with assam melody.
This is a solid chai tea, nothing exceptional but worth the price. I prefer the chocolate chai pu erh but if chocolate isn't your thing id go for this tea
This was so warm and robust with all the spirit of an Autumn evening. I used both sugar and caramel creamer...and the flavor was superb!
My go-to chai, but what keeps it from 5 stars is that it's a little too clove-heavy. If only I could tweak the recipe a little!
This is one of my favorite chais ever! I love the spicy-ness and the warmth. I like making a chai tea latte with it using milk and honey. truly one of my faves!
I love chai teas. This one was perfect. I steeped it a little longer and made it with 1/2 the water. Then added some steamed milk.
I love this chai tea. I've bought it multiple times. It's amazing hot with sugar and milk, as well as iced, also with sugar and milk. I steep it for the full 10 minutes to get all the amazing spice flavors in my tea.
Nice and spicy. A good balance of flavors. I drink this iced as well as
hot. I add milk if I drink it hot
Much better than I was anticipating. Tastes on it's own or with milk. I like to double up to two teaspoons, though that might be too spicy for some tastes. I may also try to brew it in half milk half water for a more authentic chai preparation.
Good standard chai. Good blend of tea and spice that went well with milk and sugar. Black, felt a little astringent, but not overly so. For personal taste choices, I add a few clove buds to my future baskets.
An absolute delight. I've always been a fan of chai teas but this one is my favorite. Great on its own or with a splash of coconut milk and a drizzle of honey.
Love how smooth this is. I love drink it once a week!
Masala chai is the tea portal to a peaceful moment in your day/night. The spices compliment each other to create a moment to appreciate whatever is going on in your day.
If you like latte, add a bit of warm cream or half and half. No sweetner necessary. Prepare to relax.
It’s a classic rich and flavors to make a chai latte, you can feel the cinnamon flavor and the cloves but also in water is good too
Yum yum yum, you can't go wrong with a spicy chai! This tea packs a punch and delivers all the delicious chai notes you could want.
Delicious chai. I love the spices. Delicious as a latte hot or iced. I will definitely repurchase. Highly recommend.
This tea falls in my top three! Its notes are well balanced between the black tea, spices, and the heat of the ginger. One of the most authentic tasting masala chai teas I've found.
The tea was smooth and balanced. It wasn’t bitter or too spicy. The teabags are convenient for easy prep.
Really delicious classic chai. Great in homemade chai tea lattes and as a normal brewed tea. Will be buying again
