A good tea for a morning cup. I'm discovering that I enjoy spiced teas, and this is a classic. Very strong, but the cinnamon and cloves let me enjoy it with no sweetener.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

A good tea for a morning cup. I'm discovering that I enjoy spiced teas, and this is a classic. Very strong, but the cinnamon and cloves let me enjoy it with no sweetener.
I love this one and the thai chai so much! Wonderful taste and finish! You really can't go wrong with the chais from adagio! Second steep is just as good as the first. I add a little creamer and some coconut Torani syrup and it is so good!
Very flavorful and nice with cream and cinnamon. A bit of an acquired taste but nice nonetheless.. :)
Best Chai tea out there! It has so much more flavor compared to the store bought varieties.
Our current favorite chai! We've tried MANY brands but this one is the best of the bunch. We drink tons.
This is an amazing taste. I have so many ideas on mixes to make with it next time.
I love a good chai and this one is great with milk and sugar. Try it as a tea latte and you will be in heaven!
I first had this tea over 15 years ago. Back then Adagio supplied the tea for a nerdy tea sampler on ThinkGeek.com (now sadly defunct) where it was presented as “Pirate Chai.” I loved it so much I tracked it down, which is how I found Adagio to begin with. Still drinking it all these years later.
Not strong or punchy enough for my taste. The base was okay but it wasn't a chai.
Amazing, I don’t even usually like chai, I will be purchasing this again
Excellent! Makes a great chai concentrate for chai lattes. After brewing I add sugar and vanilla to my taste. It is the best.
This tea has a wonderful flavor! It's strong but not too strong.. I will be ordering more. Honestly it was a sample so I just put some water in the microwave heated it let it steep 4 minutes added some honey and milk. It's so good I'm very happy with this product. Thank you
Lovely chai flavor that is great plain or as a latte. So far this chai is one I just don’t get tired of drinking. I pick this most mornings to start my day.
Perfect balance of black tea and spice. Perfect for an afternoon cup of tea in both warm and cold weather.
It's a classic. Just a enough spice for a great morning wake-up or an afternoon pick-me-up. It's one of my favorites.
Nice, flavorful chai tea with a spicy aroma and warming taste. Good cold too.
I prefer the raja oolong chai, this one is good, but I like a nice strong black tea flavor along with my spices. This tea is more of a mellow tea flavor, if that's your thing then this is the tea for you.
This is easily my favorite chai. It’s perfectly spicy
I wanted to like this tea more. Love chai and it’s probably the flavor I drink the most, but this has a strange aftertaste that made this meh.
A super delightful chai. The cloves were super strong and blended well
Classic, nicely spiced, I love making Chai tea lattes at home. Now I just need an espresso maker to make dirty ones
This is a pretty good chai, very flavorful I added some mexican cone sugar for extra flavor and sweetness and it was heavenly.
I used 2 teaspoons of the Chai Tea with Sweet and Low. Great taste of spices and its smells good. I got the 3 oz pouch to last of some time.
My go-to order. I always have this chai on hand. Love it!
This smells amazing and had a nice little kick to it. I added unsweetened soymilk and some agave to mine, I'm sure some maple syrup would also taste nice. A great tea for Autumn and Winter, very cozy.
A classic masala chai, fragrant and delicious with wonderful spices. Got this in the CommuniTEA and couldn't be happier! Highly recommended!
This was a great tea today. I enjoyed the warm spice blend
Masala Chai is one of my favorite chai teas, This blend hosts a flavorful, spicy, aromatics party in your cup or mug. Today I added a splash of cream. This is an excellent chai.
I had been hesitant to try this tea because I was worried I wouldn't like the spice blend. But it was nicely mixed and the smell and taste were delicious! Brewed at 212 for 10 minutes with one packet of Splenda.
A perfect traditional blend! Deep, spicy, and smooth! I love mine black, but a dash of steamed milk is a dream too!
A nice spicy tea that hits the spot on a cold morning.
Nice and spicy. It’s great for warming me up on a cold winter day. I love to mix it with other teas.
A really lovely chai :) me and my roommate have it most mornings, with whole milk and brown sugar, warm and spicy and perfect for late fall/winter
I don't like it, it's very clove heavy. It's difficult to make out any other flavors. The clove is overpowering. It's not my preferred mix of spices for chai.
A fantastic black base for making a chai at home. Spicy but not too overwhelming.
I love blending and cooking with this chai. It has a terrific base flavor. It's a bit too much for me by itself, but I still love it because of how blendable it is. Yes, I just made up a new word...:D
If you're into chai, this is a pretty good mix. I'm more of a plain tea guy so I couldn't really get into it.
Chai is wonderful. Spicy without being too over the top, Great as a morning pick-me-up and equally good in the afternoon.
This chai is too clove heavy, can’t taste anything but clove. I really enjoy chai teas and was hoping to like this one. Disappointed. I used one pack stevia in a 12 oz mug.
This is my favorite chai from Adagio. I love a traditional spicy black chai in the morning and this is it.
This is a very nice, quick alternative to a stovetop masala chai. Excellent flavor with sugar and milk. My only complaint is that it can be very clove-heavy. I have to make sure there are no more than 5-6 in my teaspoon otherwise it's too much for me.
Tried it as a sample, but went by directions and it seemed a bit weak. Tired the rest with a double steep time, and OMG delicious. It's now my staple Chai.
Great black tea with a warm selection of spices. The cloves can be a bit numbing and the cardamom aromatic.
It’s sure a masala chai! I don’t have much to say beyond that; if you like masala chai you’ll like this. I give it four stars simply because I couldn’t taste quite as much of the tea or cinnamon as I personally prefer, but I suspect most people will like this fine.
This is a very good cup of tea! Not overly spicy but still flavorful. I definitely recommend this blend!
A nice blend of spices that produce a traditional Indian Chai. Just add warm milk and sweetener, or black for more robust taste
what a delicious chai blend! it warmed me from the inside, delightfully spicy. perfect with a splash of oat creamer
This is hands down my favorite chai. I've served it to friends and every one takes a photo of the bag so they can run home and order some!
This chai has a good mix of spices that give it a nice, robust flavor. I was pleasantly surprised as I have found many blends to be weak in flavor and I had taken to mixing my own. I won't have to do that now that I've found this tea.
A nice flavor I must say! Rich and intricate. However personally not my favorite type of chai. Was missing some of that peppery smoothness of other blends. This one is heavy on the clove and ginger, so if those are your favorite flavors, give it a go!
