This is my new go-to Chai tea. Rich flavor, with warm spices. I will be enjoying it all through the chilly seasons.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

This is my new go-to Chai tea. Rich flavor, with warm spices. I will be enjoying it all through the chilly seasons.
Couldn’t get into this tea without sweetening - smell was lovely but taste wasn’t there for me
The smell in itself makes you stop to appreciate it. The best chai I’ve had.
Very lovely smell when opened and very pleasant taste.
I love this chai. I only get it to add to some of my teas that have chai in it and it makes it a little spicier and I love it!
Very lovely tea with a good spice flavor. Absolutely my favorite chai tea
I'm not a huge Chai person due to most being far too heavy with the pepper/ginger. This one is different! Yes, it's a bit spicy, but not overwhelming and, with added milk (2%), it is just right! Now I feel a bit more confident in naming one of my triplet kittens 'Chai Latte'! (All my cats have tea names.) I'm quite happy with this Chai tea and will continue to have it on my future orders.
Delicious classic chai taste, opening the bag hits you with a wonderful smell
Chai anything usually is a big win for me. This is definitely a huge win for me!! Solid for a hot or cold day, unless you don’t like a warming tea in the summer. Lol
A great chai paired with a little cream and some vanilla honey. Warms you up, the mix of black tea, cinnamon and spices puts a smile on your face.
A good chai. Cinnamon doesn't overpower. However, the spice flavor is quite strong so I like to mix this with Assam.
The best masala chai I've ever had. I enjoy it alone, but it's also excellent with some warm milk added.
Masala Chai is everything I want in a cup of tea—comforting, bold, and full of rich, warming spices. The blend of black tea withspices is perfectly balanced. It’s strong without being overpowering, and the spices are vibrant but not too sharp. Highly recommend if you love spiced teas or want something that feels both invigorating and soothing.
Really enjoyed just sitting and smelling this tea. Made me wish for cooler weather and a blanket to snuggle into. Preferred it hot and a touch on the sweet side.
I blend Raja Oolong Chai with Samurai Mate and Masala Chai to create a fabulous hot tea. This has easily replaced my old Teavana favorite.
This is my go to Chai. Balanced spiciness and very smooth. I look forward to it every morning!
Nothing to say but good things about this tea. I love, love, love it. I love Chai teas is my go to and this one is one of my favorites
go to for midafternoon slows, I rotate it with earl grey and top with a bit of oat milk as well as some turneric/ginger powder (golden milk)
Looking for a replacement for Teavanna's Samurai Chai Mate. Getting closer! This is a magnificent chai, definitely recommend!!!
I previously was disappointed by the weak flavor when compared to the strong aroma of the unbrewed tea, but then I got a really good quality teapot and let the tea sit for a long time directly in the water (without a tea bag or strainer). You get a real spicy punch, with a warm underbelly of cardamom, rounded off nicely with a black tea. Perfectly pairs with French Vanilla creamer (which I never put in coffee or any other tea but works a dream here).
Very rich flavor of cloves and cinnamon with a nice black tea background. I personally love the flavor of chai and this is a great basic chai tea!
Wow! That's a spicy chai! The tea uses whole spices. You can see the cardamom, clove sticks and cinnamon slivers. Those WHOLE spices really deliver a lovely spicy chai perfect for those cold mornings. I think I'm going to have to keep this one stocked in my pantry year-round. Great balance, great nostalgic flavor.
Full, flavorful, delicious. A highly recommended tea. The spices are bold without being too forward.
This is my favorite Chai that I have ever had. It has set the bar so high I don’t order Chai at restaurants anymore because it doesn’t come close to this.
I gave it an honest try- twice. But it seems anything with a black tea base is too harsh for me to enjoy 😔
This is my morning go to. The spices lift my spirit. I like to add almond milk and honey. This is a great tea to mix with others.
This chai is the best I've ever purchased. I originally bought the sampler pack of the chais to determine which one I like best, and this one rose above the rest. If you purchase it, you will not be disappointed.
This is a perfect chai tea. I grew up drinking chai and this brings me right back to that. I love it with and without cream
This reminds me of fall and halloween, and I will be so stuocked up on this come this fall it's so good!
A beautiful orange gold in the glass, the scent of it announces that it is spicy! An in-your-face kind of tea, it is spicy and delightful. This would be a great tea to have if you have been outside in the cold and have come inside to warm up. 212F . Five minutes.
Emily (36):As someone who doesn't like Chai, I actually enjoyed drinking thus! A little honey and milk made it perfect.
Evie (9): It reminds me of Fall and Cider! I love the spices! Very yummy.
CommuniTEA sample: 7 min @ 212 F, second cup for 10 min @ 212 F. This is a pretty nice, traditional Chai blend. It's sweet and spicy, with the ginger being the element that I noticed the strongest in it. The Ceylon base does contribute a little bit of that brightness, where some blends might include citrus rind, this one doesn't really need to! It also does add a little bit of dryness that lingers on the tongue. I like adding a couple of grams of crystal rock sugar and some milk or cream to help round out the tea!
Love warm spice teas. I especially love the comfort that comes from cinnamon and autumn flavors in tea. This one does all of that. Sometimes I like to add milk and sweetener to masala chai, but today I went no additions to my cup. I think if you wanted to go a cold route the addition of milk and sugar would give an almost dessert like vibe to your drink. Would totally recommend, but also I understand many do not like their tea with so much spice. For me, spice is nice. 212° 10 min
possibly the best masala Chai I have had... I may need to taste them side by side to be sure. This has the right blend of spice and sweet, without the peppery undertones some have that overpower. Definitely deserves a dab of sweetness and a cream of choice.
This chai is very cardamom forward and the other spices are a lot more subtle. It's nice, it's just not It.
I prefer a chai that punches me in the face with its spiciness.
Steep for 7-10 minutes?! That's the longest I've ever steeped anything! That said... it totally was not over brewed, was delightfully 'zesty' and 'warm' and with a hint of Christmas flavors... this was a GREAT chai, and I've be happy with a cup any day!
This is a nice, spicy chai to savor. The intensity of the flavors is just right. I’m not a huge chai fan, but for those who love the style, this will be right up your alley. Happy Sipping!
UPDATE: Over the years, I've become more partial to a chai. I've become more of a black tea fan and always love lots of spices in my brew. This one is brimming with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger goodness. It's a basic, workhorse chai but it satisfies! Happy Sipping!
Lovely, warm and spicy. Perfect with sweetener and a splash of milk. Better than a Starbucks chai, that's for sure.
A strong spicy chai. I make it with all milk instead of water so the spices are not overwhelming.
April 25: still a perfect chai :)
Dec ‘24: yep, a classic. Perfect balance. I do recommend steeping longish, and sweetener.
a perfect chai. I steeped a little over 1 tsp for 7 min (also good longer). so delicious with a little bit of milk and sugar.
A decent, strong chai masala when steeped as directed. Clove and cardamom are predominant, with cinnamon and ginger coming in second. Flavor blends well and has a clean, slightly spicy finish. I’m not a regular chai drinker, but I do like this one. I could see enjoying it on a cold autumn day.
I LOVE this tea. I didn't think I liked chai until I tried Adagio's. Grocery store brands always gave me a sore throat (I think it's the fake cinnamon flavoring they use--cinnamon gum does the same to me). I also found many varieties so over-flavored, they were on the bitter side.
But this chai is blissful. It's nice and spicy, but it's not overwhelming or fake-tasting—nor does it give me a sore throat. It tastes exactly like what I'd always hoped chai could be. I absolutely recommend it.
I like this, but I would prefer if it had a bit more of a nuance undertone. I feel like it’s a basic chai.
This is a very nice basic chai that can stand up to sweetener and cream. Very similar to what I make from scratch.
Spicy, aromatic, warm, and comforting. Everything a great chai should be.
One of my 'must haves' , helps with allergy symptoms! Even though it has caffeine, it's very effective for those who suffer during allergy season.
Love me a good chai and this blend is no exception. I love this beverage mid day to give me that little needed boost. Smells Divine!
Great chai blend. I cannot stand star anise or fennel but this blend doesn't have them, thank goodness. Has a permanent place on my tea shelf!
Lots of ginger and warm baking spices. I use 2 tsp for every 10 oz so it makes it pretty strong and then add sugar and a splash of half and half
Absolutely love this tea, full body, rich bold taste, and the fragrance was dancing
