This is a yummy tea! Nice and spicy, lovely with a splash of milk. It's a nice tea to wake up with in the morning!
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

This is a yummy tea! Nice and spicy, lovely with a splash of milk. It's a nice tea to wake up with in the morning!
Loved it! Perfectly blended spices pair wonderfully with Adagio's Cerylon tea. This chai will go perfectly with a bit of honey and milk of your choice. It is a little forward with the cardamom, but I'm very happy with that! I'll definitely come back to this tea <3
A beautiful spiciness greets the nose from this morning's CT packet. Rich browns peep up from inside, and a pair of chunky cloves sitting on top promises a potent steep!
Steeping to a deep, earthy brown, this chai is rich in both warmth and flavor. The clove and cardamom spring to life and practically leap from the cup when at its hottest, but both find balance with the cinnamon as it begins to really shine and find its place as the cup cools to a more modest temp. A hint of ginger comes into play as well as things cool down, and I find that a touch of brown sugar gives it a bit more presence without oversweetening. Add oat milk to taste, and we have a wonderfully creamy cup of warm spice that is perfect for a chilly day!
(7min @ 212°F, w/brown sugar and oat milk)
CommuniTEA: This seemed to need a little extra help so I blended it with raja oolong chai. This really made an excellent blend. I enjoy chai but I am particular of all the flavors being full profile. I also added raw sugar to bring out some additional flavors. I am not sure I've ever met a single chai that I enjoy fully without blending with another chai.
I brewed at 212F for 8min and this tea tastes great. No bitterness just strong spices and some mild creaminess. Cinnamon stands out, but is hand in hand with ginger and clove for a balanced blend.
Ooooh man, I love this one! I’ve always loved chai blends but this one doesn’t need anything, no cream, no sweetener, nothing but the time it takes to steep.
This is a nice warming, wake me up tea, great for the morning. Love the cardamom and ginger. The cinnamon adds nice aroma as well as flavor and the cloves are not too strong in this tea. A very nicely balanced chai blend. Lots flavor from all of the spices, yet none of the spices overwhelms the blend. Really like this one.
I love the smell of the spices—enough to spend several moments inhaling deeply before steeping. I enjoy its fragrance after steeping too—and it’s taste.
Enjoyed this teas but wished it had a little more clove in it. I was drinking this from another provider and fully enjoyed it, but provider no longer in business. I will continue to drink this tea but will be adding additional clove.
I love masala chai tea in general and this was a good one, plenty of spice with smooth tea.
Soooo flavorful. It does become bitter if you forget about it while it's steeping, but that's my bad. Excellent with plant milk and honey
Meh. I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting more spice. I'm going to give it another try and brew it longer.
A perfect level of spicy. I find myself gravitating towards this every day. I brew this with no milk, and it's still extremely delicious.
I love Chai tea and this one is at the top of the list. I only steep mine for about three minutes because anything longer is a bit to bitter for me. Love it.
Much more spicy than sweet - perfect for a chai latte.
We drink this with cream and sugar and it is amazing!! @adagioteas
Nice chai blend. Robust and spicy with complex flavor on the palate. Have not tried with daily but would probably go well with some creamer.
Beautiful, layered spice, ginger & clove heavy, faves of mine. I always drink it with milk. Loved by my customers.
Lots of clove and spicy goodness. This needed a bit of milk and honey to tone down the bitterness.
This is the perfect masala chai. So spicy and fragrant. I like to mix it with sweetened oat milk for a non dairy latte!
Expert blend of spices and rich with boldness. Who could want more from a chai?
This is one of my favorite teas I ve ever had! Such a wonderful depth of flavor. The cinnamon is not overly strong (as I find it to be in many Chai varieties), and the cloves and cardamom are perfectly balanced. As a coffee drinker, I now will say I sometimes PREFER a mug of Masala Chai to a cup of coffee! @adagioteas
Wonderful! A classic staple. Warm, spicy, complex and complimentary flavors.
Chai is my favorite and this one is special. A delicious cup.
Very good sice blend in with a nice black tea. Will most definitely buy again.
I tried steeping this like regular tea but found it too weak. I ended up making it on the stovetop and holding it at a very low simmer for 10 minutes with in a mix of water and a bit of milk, and it came out very nicely
The chai flavor makes this tea good at anytime of the day.
I've been looking for a replacement for the Oprah chai that Teavana used to have, and this one is delicious.
This is a reliable, tasty basic chai that I like to have on hand whenever the craving sets in.
Delicious tea with taste and smell of cloves and other spices. My room smells like Christmas.
My 15-year-old daughter won't touch coffee, but she enjoys this for breakfast. As does my wife. When my best friend visits with his Chinese wife form Singapore, this is what we serve her.
I have bought this tea a few times and will continue to do so. I find it great on its own or mixed with others to create my own custom Chai teas.
I loved the smell of this tea, but the flavor was missing something may add milk next time.
If you like cloves, you will probably like the Masala Chai blend. My CommuniTea packet had 8 cloves buds in it. Not being a clove lover, I picked them all out but one. Steeped for only 3 minutes, but still found this chai to be too strong (for me) in spice flavor. A little sweetener helped, but I didn't go for a second steep. UPDATED: If you like an intensely strong, spicy chai, you will probably like the Masala Chai blend! It begs to have cream added for smoothness and sweetener to balance the spicy. Since I prefer a lighter chai and rarely add milk or cream, I picked out the 5 clove buds from my CommuniTEA sample, steeped 1 tsp per cup of water at 190°F for only 2 minutes, and sweetened with a little monk fruit sweetener. Delicious!
Classic Masala chai, nice level of spice balanced with a great black tea. Happy sipping!
Good chai. My CommuniTEA packet seemed extra heavy on the cloves.
Adagio's masala chai is a classic blend! Robust enough to combine with just about any other flavor, but also delicious and complex on its own.
A wonderful classic chai. Fantastic straight or with any additions. Even better as a latte. Recommended for cardamom fans.
I absolutely love chai teas. In any form. But this one is particularly nice! Would make a nice base for chai lattes <3
Love this chai! Wonderfully spicy but more cardamon forward than most.
If you are going to have a chai, why not go big? As the name states, this tea is full of spice. Great how the spices blend together with none overpowering the other.
This tea is good, but a little heavy on the clove.
Spicier than some of the other recent chai teas. I added a little milk. Not bad, but not a reorder for me.
This is a nice chai blend, but for my tastes it’s a little heavy on the ginger. Adding cream and sugar made it very tasty. Adagio offers such a varied selection of delicious chai blends. Keep sampling until you find the one you love!
All the flavors of spice that you want with the cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom if that’s what you want. Unfortunately it wasn’t for my.
I love a good spicy black tea. This chai had the perfect balance of spices. It was just what I needed on a cold winter morning.
A very nice Masala that holds true to the traditional spices. It is quite enjoyable and gives the perfect blend of spices. I do brew it a bit strong and put a splash of milk in it, but it is a great overall chai. Very good! @adagioteas
Rich, well balanced chai. Clove forward flavor with a strong cinnamon presence and hints of a complex variety of other spices.
Not my favorite of the various spiced tea blends. The flavors are all there, but this one just doesn't have quite enough depth and roundedness to it.
A very tasty spiced tea that tastes good by itself or as a tea latte.
