This is a well-rounded chai! A hearty black tea, perfectly tempered with warm spices. It is great either hot or iced.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

This is a well-rounded chai! A hearty black tea, perfectly tempered with warm spices. It is great either hot or iced.
Yummy Chai blend. Less potent on the spicy notes but an easy respectful chai beverage none the less. Tasty with added sweetener and milk too!
This tea is wonderfully spicy with a strong chai flavor. I think it tastes best with milk and sugar. I was able to steep this tea a second time and it still had good flavor.
Love this chai with honey and milk, or sweetened condensed milk. It’s the real deal! It definitely works best following the ratio suggested of 2 tsp per cup if you are adding milk. But If you like your chai black, I’ve found it’s pretty intense at that ratio and I can get away with about half that.
Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong spice fragrance of cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom noticed from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190° F, in notice honey tea notes with ginger from my cup. When I take a sip, ginger takes the spotlight with the backup of mixed spices. The finish is all ginger with a slight ginger bite left lingering on the palate in addition to the black tea tannins.
I love my masala chai mixed with other flavors. I use milk and sweetener to bring out all the flavors and tone down the strength of the spices. : Temp 212 : 12 oz cup : 2 tsp of sweetener and steep 5 milk (hot-warm) before boil
If you are a spice nut and love lots of chai, then this is for you. This Chai is the power house of chais, nothing is spicier. (in my opinion) Masala chai is great to blend with and goes well with lots of milk and sweetener. Great chai for blending with other flavors. I use masala chai in my fandoms 'A Chai For Any Seasons'
Spicy blend chai is the perfect winter drink! Neat or with a splash of whole milk and raw sugar..yumm
Exactly what I wanted in a chai. It's a great spiced, warming tea that helps me focus. The spice does cut down on the ceylon bitterness as well. I like making it half-strength with no creamer and full strength with creamer over ice.
This is a nice chai. I was hesitant at first when the package directed brewing for 7-10 minutes at 212, but neither the black tea nor the spices are overwhelming plain. Adding 15 g sugar did intensify the spice and, in my opinion, offset the balance of this tea, and it took 40ml of milk to make it smooth and palatable again. So, in my opinion, this tea is good plain, and stands up as a latte better than most, but I wouldn't recommend it with sweetener alone unless you really love strong spice taste.
If you love intense chai tea this is your blend. I had to rate this low as the spice is way to intense for my taste and I couldn't even drink the sample.
This tea has a respectable chai flavor without being overwhelming. It's quite lovely hot with a little bit of truvia. It has enough punch, that it would probably make a very tasty latte.
I love this tea! Warm, relaxing and spicy...the aroma is amazing and the taste is even better!! I add a dollop of my fav sugar free dark chocolate syrup and a bit of non-dairy creamer (Can't have milk) and I'm in heaven!
I'm not sure exactly what is in this that makes me dislike it so much
I'm a huge fan of the Raja Oolong Chai. When the company was temporarily out, I figured I'd order this. I found it extremely bitter and even with honey couldn't choke down a full cup. Even steeping for only a minute or using less tea couldn't get over the taste for me. I ended up giving away a big bag to a neighbor. You may love it, but if you tried the Raja Oolong first, don't assume they will taste similar.
A lovely chai, the remainder was lacking a bit, so I added a few peppercorns and a cardamom pod.
Really like this tea. Add a little Scottish breakfast 1 to 3 ratio to add an extra kick! Add a little milk and honey for a perfect post work treat!
This is quite a robust Chai compared to many I have tried. Chai also puts me in a holiday mood so is great for the Christmas season.
This is exactly what I want when I'm craving a cup of chai. Perfect blend of spices. I usually add a small amount of soy creamer, or if I'm feeling really wild, I will steam some almond milk to make a latte.
I gave this as a gift to a chai lover, and it was a big hit. They will be ordering more. I have bought this again and again for them, and the smile they give never disappoints, just like the tea.
I would not order this tea from anywhere else but adagio. It has the perfect combination of all the spices to make this tea my every morning favorite above all other teas. HOWEVER, I only order loose tea since the tea bags have very small portion and it takes two tea bags rather than one only. Shrinkflation?
Seriously solid chai. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had.
Sorry to say that I'm not really a fan of this chai. Something about it is off-putting; comes on too strong and a bit bitter.
A really nice chai with prominent cardamom and ginger. I can't go wrong serving this to guests because it's spicy but not 'too' spicy. I drink this when I want caffeine and have had too many cups of coffee already...
not a fan of the artificial cinnamon scent. willing stay away from spiced teas from now
I’m not an expert on masala chai but as a casual tea drinker, this satisfied my craving. Normally had this in some restaurants and this comes close. Like adding milk and making masala chai milk tea @adagioteas
This is a good basic chai blend. It needs a bit more cinnamon for my taste.
My all time favorite! I had searched for a chai tea that matched what I had had when visiting India and finally found it! Love it!!
I bought 3 oz of this for my wife and a few days later went to have it for the second time but found it was gone already. Bold flavors and clearly good enough to be daily tea.
As a chai tea drinker, I love this tea! A classic blend of spices that helps to start the day or kick start an afternoon!
This is a flavorful tea, but not really one for me. It does blend well with other teas, which is how I typically enjoy it. With high caffeine, more of a morning blend for myself. @adagioteas
I love Chai tea and this is a great one will reorder and consider get a monthly box with this Chai in it
This is the best Chai tea I have had in a very long time. It does not taste watered down like other chai tea. The spices are warming without being over powering.
I love this tea cold brewed. Just set some loose in a jar of water in the fridge over night and drink it cold. Super refreshing! I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to brew it hot.
One of my favorites! Have to keep coming back to it.
This is my favorite Adagio tea, and I own a LOT of Adagio teas. It's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, perfect with a little milk
Delicious warm and comforting flavor! Great for winter time.
A great chai! We don't tend to steep for the full 7-9 mins though.
I was impressed with the flavor and quality of this tea. I loved all the spices. It's wonderful for cold weather.
I really liked this tea, I used almond milk in it and it tasted great
This is a good, solid chai tea. Chais can be a bit heavy for me, so I will cut them with one of the standard black teas. Nice overall.
I really like this one. It is a nice, spicy chai! I brew it a little longer than recommended.
This is a spicy, fragrant tea. The clove spices provide a warmth, perfect for an autumn day.
This is a great mix for a chai latte. I steep mine in a mix of almond milk and water, then add sugar. I've loved it every time.
My family always knows when I make this tea. It make my house smell amazing. It’s one of are favorites!!! @adagioteas
This tea is great, I love chai with a lot of spice/flavor and this is perfect! I steep it for 10-11 minutes when I add cream to it
I've been drinking this a lot lately. It's one of my Adagio go tos.
Delicious! If you are a fan of a warm, strong chai tea then this is for you. Enjoyed with some raw honey. This will definitely be a frequent reorder for us.
We had this while camping over the weekend and it was excellent! The perfect amount of spices to tea and it did not require any additional sweetener. I will be getting this again!
I have been looking for the perfect tea combo to recreate my favorite old Teavana blend. 2 parts of Raja Oolong Chai mixed with 2 parts Samurai Mate and 1 part Masala Chai is the money combo. Spicy, warm, and delicious with a touch of tropical sweetness from the Samurai Mate. Super delicious even though I am still trying to get my full taste back from having covid a few months ago.
