Smooth and fragrant with delicious warm notes. Decadent but refreshing. Perfect for new and experienced tea drinkers alike... A wonderful tea!
China green tea with a chakra warming spice combination. Clean, refreshing and fiery flavor, soothing finish. Ommm...

Smooth and fragrant with delicious warm notes. Decadent but refreshing. Perfect for new and experienced tea drinkers alike... A wonderful tea!
This is sort of an odd combo, to me. It's fine, and I was curious to try it, but I'd rather get my green tea and chai separately, as it turns out.
Really nice flavor - typically brew a bit longer than the three minutes to hung out more of the flavor.
New favorite! This was a packet from the Communitea box recently, and I liked it enough to order some more.
The aroma of cloves and cinnamon was present upon opening the packet. I had 3 cloves in my packet - I attract them. I brewed at 175 for 3 minutes. It was a nice spicy tea - the cloves didn’t overpower as they sometimes do. Green is still not my favorite but this was good. 4/25/2023 CT.
The chai spice was perfect strength and a nice blend but I don't think I like chai spice with green tea.
Nice chai flavor when plain but it didn't hold up to cream. It would probably need to be double strength to retain the spice flavor. Either way, I prefer the robustness of black chai.
CommuniTEA portion: 180 for 3 minutes. Wonderful chai. Not overly spicy with enjoyable green. 💚
Chai lite? this was a really great chai and a bit on the lighter side with the green tea. a very nice cuppa this evening.
I feel like the green tea was weak and a bit overspiced in my CommuniTea packet. I would try again.
A nice, mild chai without anything being 'too much' or 'not enough'. It really does fit squarely in the middle. The chai is light but present, with nice notes of ginger and cardamom; the orange is the lightest, but came out more when it was lukewarm.
[175°F, 3.5 minutes]
As a latte, it's pleasant. I used oatmilk and blended it with a touch more cinnamon and ground ginger. A good tea to start the day off evenly.
Nice tea flavor with the chai. I am not always a fan.
While hot this seemed like a lightly flavored chai. Once it fully cooled to room temp the spiciness of the chai came through nicely. This makes me think it would taste better cold brewed. I steeped using 180 F water x 3 min, no sweetener.
This was a light version of chai. The smell was delicious but the taste was more subtle. Not watered down like but just not as pronounced as when in black tea. I do prefer the black teas with more chai but I'm glad I was able to experience this one.
Out of the packet, the chai spices were warm and spicy as expected from a good chai. After brewing, the flavors were still great and the green tea flavor wasn’t prominent – showcasing the spices. Nice that it has moderate caffeine.
A light chai flavor. The spices blend well and don't overwhelm the green tea.
I enjoyed this tea both hot and cold. Flavors seemed mild to me. I didn't add any creamer to either drink. I will be enjoying this in the future.
A green chai? Very light, with just a hint of the warm spices I would expect. I'd up the ratio of spices but the overall flavor is good.
This wouldn’t be my number one option to go to for a chai, but it is a fun twist on chai.
This is an excellent tea and an instant favorite. I'm not usually the biggest chai fan, but the spices really work with the green tea and aren't overwhelming the way that black chai can be. I drank it plain without sugar or milk and steeped at 100 degrees celsius for approximately five minutes. I will definitely be ordering more of this!
The perfect blend of clove, ginger and cardamom. I typically add milk to black chai tea but this green chai was a milder version that I enjoyed without milk.
This is a good chai tea for lightweights like me...and it's green! Yes!! Actually I really enjoy this tea because it's not grassy, not too spicy and it is fantastic blended with other green teas to kick the flavors up a notch. You hardcore chai lovers should stick to the black teas. I think this one may be too mild for you.
My CT packet didn't have quite 2 tsp, so I used about 6 oz of water, brewed up real nice. First sip light and spicy, added some honey and it was sweet and spicy, added some soy milk and it was a full tea. In my early tea days, I tried Stash's green chai - gross btw - this is that but WAY better.
No grassy taste, just a nice spicy cup of tea. I’m always surprised when I like a green tea as the green teas I started out on tasted so much like drinking a cup of grass. This one’s a winner for me.
Green tea is my favorite beverage so I am getting a kick out of this tea. Have not had a green chai before. Tastes like Adagio's standard chai spicing, just a touch lighter and a slightly herbal taste. will have to try cooking with this but may be my new standard straightforward chai.
Green Chai was surprising to me. The spice level was not too much and it didn't taste grassy. I didn't mind drinking my cup but I would not purchase.
I like the subtlety the green tea brings to this chai blend. It's smooth and the spice is very prominent without being overwhelming. I appreciate that since I tend to drink my chai without doctoring it.
I love this chai! The spices are so flavorful and blend perfectly with the green tea!
In the bag: Half the blend is roughly chopped dark green leaves of tea. Several big hunks of orange rind. Several chips of cinnamon bark. A few clove buds.
On the nose (pre-steep): Smells just like a classic black chai.
On the nose (post-steep): Aromas of cinnamon and clove have reduced. Accent of grass.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Earthy spices like cinnamon on the tip of my tongue. Grass on the back. A lingering zing. No astringency.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Chai flavors are stronger and are blocking out the grassy notes.
Opinion: A pleasant tea, but if I'm in the mood for chai I would stick with a more traditional version. I don't think green tea is a good pairing.
Preparation: First steep 4 min, second steep 8 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
This was exactly what I needed today for my cold. I didn’t want the caffeine of black tea, so green tea was perfect. The spices managed to cut through my diminished sense of taste and smell. And the ginger and other beneficial ingredients really seemed to help with my cold symptoms. I happily drank this straight, but it was also good with a splash of vanilla creamer on the resteep. Highly recommend!
Update: This one is kinda meh for springtime. Definitely a fall tea!
I tried all the Chai teas. This one was very good! I loved it so much! I will be purchasing this again
Very tasty combination of greens and spices. Green Tea, Cinnamon, Orange, Ginger, Cardamom; they all blend without a planty taste.
This is an excellent Chai. It has the right amount of flavor and spice and is slightly different from a more traditional black tea chai without being so unusual it's unsettling.
I’ve always been a big fan of chai and this tea does not disappoint.
You know, green and chai don't sound like they go together, but this tea was actually very good. I wouldn't give it a full five stars, but it was an interesting experience.
Best Chai Tea I have every tasted! Smooth and delicious! F you enjoy a hot cup of chai-this is for you.
It’s amazing how the chai flavor translates so nicely to green tea! It’s all the chai deliciousness without the intense caffeine!
This is by far my favorite tea!!! Smells wonderful and tastes so great! On time delivery and great service!
Nice combination of green tea with the Chai flavor, perfect for a gentle lift in the afternoon with spicy flavor
This was an awesome chai. somewhat mild, but allows each flavor to be fully experienced. A good alternative to black
Not bad, but not a favorite. Green tea seems to make chai somewhat harsher tasting.
Love all things chai. Buying a larger quantity because I think I’m addicted
I like it my tea. It has a great taste. It is very easy to prepare
I really like this, its a crisp taste... to me anyways
I love all chais but this is particularly delicious
The aroma from the bag almost had hints of something that made me think of eggnog, but the aroma and taste is just chai. Perfect for when I want a cup of chai but want something with less caffeine than the black tea version.
Very nice, not too overwhelming, next time I will have to add a splash of milk.
Growing up in the Middle East, I've had a lot of spice tea. I purchased this tea not to drink as a chai but simply as a spiced tea, and it was beautiful. The aroma of the entire house when this tea was steeping was hypnotizing, the spices are mellow yet flavourful and do not bite. The green tea was a great carrier for the spices and was not grassy, which is definitely a plus for me. I love the traditional chai with black tea, but I could not find the courage to add milk to this tea blend. I enjoy my teas sweetened into oblivion, but I found that this blend did not need much at all.
love the flavor and how it compliments the black tea
Perfect blend of green tea and spice. If you love both green teas and chai, this is a must try!
