This is a wonderful sweetly spiced tea! A lot of chocolate teas can have an artificial flavor to them, but I think the chai spices help mask that and really help to give a chocolate flavor that works well! This is one of my favorites, I need to get a bigger bag!

This tea smells like chocolate, cinnamon, and ginger. After steeping, it tastes mostly of cinnamon with a little bit of ginger. I do like cinnamon and ginger teas. It’s a good tea for a cold day.

Before I discovered Adagio, Good Earth’s chocolate chai was my favorite tea. This one is very tasty. I have my bag of cacao nibs, and I’m thinking about adding an extra scoop.

I like the chocolate chai but it is better mixed with other chocolate teas or other flavored black teas.

This was my first experience with this black tea and it really delivered the FLAVOR. I’m trying to cut back on sweets and this chocolatey tasting tea really helps. Love it!

I make chocolate chai with milk as a stovetop tea instead of with water. I think that, even though the result is heavier and has a lot more calories, this is best enjoyed in that style of preparation. I also add a little sugar and a couple of cinnamon chips, but that's for my flavor preferences. When I make it this way the result is nothing less than comfort food. On bad days, it's the perfect pick-me-up.

A very delicious alternative chai option. I'm still a beginner when it comes to making chai, but this is one I really enjoyed.

This is a lovely, rich chai delight. I love as an afternoon relaxer, or on the weekend mornings with a warm bagel

Wasn't sure I would like a Chocolate Chai. But I was pleasantly surprised. A mellow flavor. I love the loose leaf teas so I can brew stronger or weaker to my taste. I love trying the sample size.

I don’t know why but this tea is actually flavorless to me, it smells lovely but I don’t taste chocolate or cinnamon at all. For a chai I’m definitely disappointed. Maybe I just don’t know what quality chai is, definitely look at other reviews. I doubt I’ll be finishing my bag though.

I am new to chai teas. Maybe I just don't like chai? Chocolate was not enough to make me want it. UPDATE: it's growing on me. increased rating to 4 stars. good for those days when I have nausea but need to caffeinate.

★★★★★

Deep chocolate flavor mixed with the spice of chai. what more could you want

★★★★★

This tea is a nice sweet flavor with a spicy after taste. Great for early morning caffeine with a jolt of energy from the spices. Neither flavor is over powering.

★★★★☆

Great dessert tea when you are craving something on the sweet side.

★★★★☆

Good Chai yea but can't really taste the chocolate notes in it

★★★★★

It’s got chocolate! It’s got chai! What’s not to love?! I highly recommend this one!

Didn't very much care for it, the chai flavor did not mesh well with the cocoa flavors. It tasted the way cinnamon spice Febreeze smells if you can understand that. (Cold brewed for 10 hours)

★★★☆☆

I don't taste much of the chocolate flavor. It does have a stronger cinnamon flavor than the masala chai, which I prefer.

One of the best teas I've had in a long time. The Chai is perfectly complemented by the subtle dark chocolate.

I enjoyed it, it's not my absolute favorite but it's not bad at all. Could probably use some cream perhaps.

★★★☆☆

I don't like this nearly as much as the Chocolate Chai Pu-erh. The chocolate flavor doesn't come through as much. Although if you like teas on the spicier side, this may be the one for you.

★★★★☆

This was a nice treat! Not something I could drink daily but a nice change from the usual for me.

I love chai, and yet I'm not a big fan of cardamom. This blend therefore is just about perfect. The chocolate adds extra flavor (that's not overpowering), so it's not just cinnamon/ginger black tea, and I toss a few clove buds into my strainer when I steep this tea.

A wonderful chocolate-y flavor. Great for a mid-afternoon pick me up!

★★★★☆

Overall a warm and spicy tea, but the chocolate flavor falls a little flat,

It’s delicious, but the spices of the chai weren’t as strong as I personally prefer.

If chai weren't in the name, you wouldn't know it was chai. Heavy on it chocolate and hardly any spice. Very disappointing. Brewed per package recommendation.

I enjoyed this Chocolate Chai. It s a perfect dessert tea!

One of my favorite teas. I love it with and without cream.

★★★★★

Reminiscent of Mexican hot chocolate, this tasty blend is full of creamy chocolate flavors with a ginger and cinnamon bite. As with all chais, add some sweetener and cream to bring out the spice flavors to their fullest. I would not recommend this to someone looking for a more authentic chai, but this is one of my favorites!

A gentle spice blend with lots of chocolate flavor.

Love Chai. Love chocolate. Perfect combo with a little cream!

★★★★★

Absolutely delicious. No need for creamer, milk, or sugar. Perfect way to start your morning. I worried about buying a chai because others in the past were super disappointing. However, this was delicious.

A chocolatey good chai! I like to over brew it so I can add a lot of milk and sweetener

Flavorless, maybe a little hint of cinnamon. I was really hoping for a spicy chocolate chai, but detect absolutely no chocolate flavor at all.

My Favorite morning tea., I add a little Chocolate Honey. I’ve upped my order to a 14oz bag.

The first time I heard of chocolate tea, I thought it would be disgusting but it was actually a nice finish to dinner instead of dessert. I love Masala Chai so I thought I would give this a try. It smells chocolate-y but the chocolate flavor is mild. I like to add a teaspoon of the rock sugar crystals and that seems to increase the flavor a little bit. I don t have any issues with drinking caffeine late in the day so I often have a cup of this at night to help quench my chocolate craving. @adagioteas

The cocoa is a great addition to a pretty classic chai black tea. I also really like it mixed with the Samurai Maté for an extra kick in the morning.

As others have noted, it has a more dominant chocolate flavor than the chocolate chai pu erh. It's okay, but with so many other chai flavors to choose from, this one tends to get left behind.

★★★★★

I love this one. It's the perfect blend of all the chai spices.

★★★★★

I ordered this chai by mistake a few months ago! I love it more than the plain chai! It’s now on auto-delivery. The chocolate is really just a pleasant backnote in my cup. I enjoy warm to hot tea these days, so I make sure to steep a little extra strong so when I add milk, it’s still hot. Beautiful creamy chai without extra sugars & chemicals. Yum!
