This isn't very chocolate-y in my opinion, but the spice is nice. Maybe a hint of chocolate, but no more.
Exotic Masala Chai flavors from India paired with dark chocolate. Soothing cocoa, zesty warmth, seamless texture.

This isn't very chocolate-y in my opinion, but the spice is nice. Maybe a hint of chocolate, but no more.
A little too bitter for my tastes, be careful not to add to much tea.
Use half water, half milk, and you've got a magnificent substitute for hot chocolate.
The chocolate goes well with the cinnamon and other chai spices.
The order messed up and I received the Chocolate Chip by mistake, but it was an okay mistake with me. The Chocolate Chip is excellent, can't wait to taste the chai!
It tastes good, but I felt that it had a little too much 'nuttyness'. If you want a chocolate tea, I'd recommend Chocolate Chip instead. Overall it was good though.
A very strange mix of either not enough spice or not enough chocolate. I found it an amazing dessert tea however and it would make a special brew to end a wonderful dinner. For breakfast however it was a bit too much, or not enough.
I'm not normally a fan of cholate in my tea, but this is a great balance of rich flavor and spice which enhances both.
This was also outstanding. I found the regular Chai was too heavily flavored--like it truely needed to be brewed in milk--no water. But this chocolate chai was fine with regular old water, and a splash of milk. It smells good from the beginning to end. I will buy this one again for sure.
This tea smells fantastic but the flavor was so light, I had a hard time getting any chocolatey or spicey notes from it at all. I tried brewing it as I would a strong black tea, and I also tried cooking it in milk as is traditionally done in India, but to no avail. Perhaps I recieved a stale batch?
Not a huge amount of chocolate flavor, so you might want to skip it if that's all you're looking for, but you'd be seriously missing out. That's what makes this tea so great--no one flavor takes center stage, but they all blend together perfectly. A little sweet, a little spicy, warm, smooth, almost decadent... One cup and it's already one of my favorite teas.
The chocolate flavor is actually a bit detrimental to the flavor of the spices. It isn't bad, but I recommend skipping this one and going for the Thai Chai or the Masala Chai.
This is really yummy--the chocolate is subtle, and it's just a pleasant cup of chai tea! I could easily see this being a great 'gateway tea' for non-tea drinkers!
I loved Celestial Seasonings Caramel Enchantment Chocolate Chai and when they stopped making it (Celestial Seasonings always stop making anything I like) I was bereft. But it turned out all right because Adagio's Chocolate Chai is even better. The only way to improve chocolate is with the right spices and Adagio gets it right. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this one. The chocolate adds depth to a spice blend that usually has higher notes. I enjoyed it iced too.
This tasted a lot better than the regular chocolate flavored tea.
I loved this. I added some cream and sugar. My husband is not a tea drinker and he even liked it.
The best Chai ever. I love the mix of spices and the chocolate.Tasty with a little cream and sugar or top it off with a little steamed milk. Yummy!
Before I ordered it, I didn't think the spices of a chai tea would work well with chocolate, but I was so very wrong. Chocolate chai is absolutely amazing. The flavour simply blows my mind. If you are skeptical, I advise you to order a sample and try it out.
Loved this one Great taste to it. I added just a dash of Sun Crystals, adds just a little sweetness to it. I added some Carmel to it for something different very nice combo! I would get again!!
The chocolate taste was kind of hard for me to find in this tea. I took some advice from another review and added a spoonfull of Hot Chocolate mix, and it made the day so much better.
Not being the biggest fan of chocolate I was unsure if I wanted to try this but I am glad I did. The chocolate flavor is very subtle and adds a sweetness to the chai. I just got a sample this time, but we will be reordering.
This tea has a chocolate overtone that is rather mild and is overpowered by the cinnamon. In fact, the cinnamon came on so strongly, I couldn't identify any other flavors. Sorry. Not one of my favorites.
This is pretty much my favorite cold weather tea. It's chocolatey and wonderful, and my favorite thing to do with it is to put a scoop of hot chocolate mix and some milk into my mug, then use the tea to dissolve the hot chocolate. ENTIRELY decadent, but so nice on a snowy morning.
I liked this one, but not quite chocolate enough and not quite chai enough.
Chocolate is my favorite thing so this was the best
not the same blend of spices that I'm used to in a chai but good nonetheless. Definitely benefited from adding milk or sweetened condensed milk (a la Thai tea)
Also a good/but different chai blend. Not my favorite but fine...
My kids loved this as much as I did. Adding sweet cream to this was a good choice as well, made it creamy.
very nice balanced combination, spicy and sweet, with a hint of chai, very good!
It was yummy and chai-riffic. Went well with my half and half sandwhich cookies.
I love chocolate. I love chai. This tea blends them almost perfectly! I love my chais to be VERY spicy and this one just misses the mark. But, I would definately suggest it if you like chais and would like a playful version.
YUM! Love the scent and the taste. I tried this both ways, with water, and with warmed milk. If you like chai I think you'll like this, very flavorful, and not too chocola"tea". The scent was more powerful, I thought, when made with water.
I loved this. When you're craving something sweet and hot to drink, but you don't want the density of a hot chocolate this is just perfect.
The chai is delicious, though it could use more chocolate. I like this as a post-meal tea. I'd recommend putting some milk in it, as it brings the chai flavor out.
Very good chai with a hint of chocolate on the finish. The tea smells and tastes perfect. I usually take it with no milk or sugar.
It was not as spicy as I like my chai. I think they made it more chocolate than chai but both are too mild in flavor
Delicious, though not especially chocolatey. I detected maybe a faint touch of cocoa among the spices, but not much. Still, it's smooth, sweet and a little spicy, just the way I like my chai. I would like to try some other Adagio chais before declaring this my go-to flavor, however.
A favorite here at our house - just the perfect amount of chocolately flavor mixed with a good quality commercial chai.
Very delicious. Has a nice refreshing flavor. I recommend!
Amazing. I got a sample the first time and had to order a full tin within a week. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate-flavored teas, but this one is exceptional.
Yum! This is one of the best teas. Best when you add milk.
Something about the other flavors added to this chai make a great alternative to the basic masala chai. I find it much more of an everyday blend than most plain masala chais.
Delicious, warming and festive...but be careful of oversteeping as it gets bitter fast.
Not exactly what I was hoping for, but would make a great blending tea.
This is a great winter tea. It has all the masala chai spices up front with a smooth chocolaty finish.
Meh, didn't taste like chocolate. It was good, but not really memorable.
I have really enjoyed this tea, it's smooth and sweet a good dessert tea.
Really spicy mix, tastes like cinnamon and chocolate. (Kind of like a cinnamon tootsie roll.) Really really good.
This tea was just ok. It didn't have a very good chocolate flavor, just a lot of spice.
