Of all the teas gifted to me for Christmas, the chocolate chai is my hands down favorite. This tea is the perfect blend of spice and subtle chocolate that leaves me sipping with glee. This tea is the mainstay of every order I place. All other flavors are secondary.
I love this tea! I can taste the chocolate but it isn't in any way overpowering. Sweet and soothing, perfect for after dinner.
Love it. I got the sampler for my mother she loves chai tea and she is hooked on this one. We add soy milk (the real soy milk not the stuff with extra yucky stuff added to it)to it oh and unrefined sugar. Yum
I didn't know how much milk to add. It felt like there should be milk.
This is a strange one. I like it, but I liked it just a little better when I added cloves. It's a stronger chai flavor than chocolate. The chocolate notes are subtle.

Instead of chocolate chai, it's really cinnamon chai with a hint of chocolate. I thought the cinnamon was a little overpowering, so I used cream and sugar to tone it down. Not my favorite, but I'll definitely finish the sample.
This is by far my favorite tea. Doesn't have a strong chocolate taste, but it gives it a dark richness...and, paired with the chai - WOW! I like steamed coconut milk or almond milk with this one.
I don't know what I thought this would taste like. But it tasted a little bitter, so I didn't steep it as long, and then added some cream and sugar. It helped a bit. I probably wouldn't order this again.

I like this tea mixed with cream black tea. I use a teaspoon and a half of chocolate chai and a teaspoon of cream. Yum!

This tea was not amazing, but still good. I don't think I'm a fan of spicy chocolate, so this mixture wasn't my favorite. The tea itself was good, it's definitely worth a try. I'd suggest ordering a sample to begin with.

I purchased this tea after tasting another brand and being quite dissatisfied. However, from the moment I opened the packet, I was already more impressed with this tea than the previous product I had sampled from another company. The spices are evident in the aroma in both the leaves and brew. The ginger and cinnamon create a unique pairing, and even without the presense of other traditional chai spices, I am very satisfied and will purchase again. Many comment on the lack of chocolate flavor, however, I believe that is because the tea does not contain the type of chocolate flavor they are anticipating. I am so glad I tried this tea. I was iffy, because while I love chai, I wasn't sure about the chocolate aspect. I was wrong. This tea is smooth, and tasty, with just the right hint of spice. I have two coworkers hooked on this tea. I hide it in my desk, and they still try to ferret it out.

I had heard good things about this tea, but the smell on opening the bag was not at all appealing. I gave it a shot and made it anyway, but the smell of it just killed the experience altogether and despite an OK taste, I couldn't enjoy this tea. Just not my taste, I guess.

While I enjoy this tea - it is not great. I found I needed to use 2-3 tablespoons of tea per 8 oz cup in order to enjoy the chocolate flavor. It is nice with a bit of sweetner and some milk. I will buy it again as a nice alternative to my other favorite flavored teas

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this tea. It's ok for a black tea but not much chocolate flavor. I feel it needs more spice to be considered a chai also. I will try adding some chocolate flavor and see if that helps, but I was hoping this tea would be good on its own.
I am a huge chocolate and chai person. This tea was wonderful especially with a little honey and milk. If you have a hard time with black teas on your stomach - honey and milk/light cream will do the trick and gives you the latte style
This was a decent chai, but it didn't taste very chocolate-like. It definitely had a great chocolate aroma in the bag and after steeping, so I was disappointed when tasting it -- it's kinda like one of those scratch-and-sniff stickers -- all smell, no taste.
I couldn't taste the chocolate. I could smell it, and I tried brewing at different strengths a few times. But I never could get it right.
The first thing one can detect when opening the package is cinnamon but other flavors can be detected after actually drinking a cup. There is a definite chocolate finish, something which I did not expect to be distinguishable
This tea is fun -- like a spicy cup of hot cocoa! Doesn't have that weird, overpowering 'fake chocolate' taste like many chocolate teas do. Plus, it's perfect for cool autumn nights!
There isn't much of a spicy flavor, but some sugar and milk (or half and half works fine) brings out the chocolatey taste. It seems like it has more caffeine than other black teas I've tried.

This tea is delicious -- I drink it with a little bit of soy milk and a pinch of sugar in the raw for dessert. The hint of chocolate makes it sweet but not overpowering, and it's the probably the healthiest chocolate-flavored substance you can buy :)
I'm a total chocoholic! This chai chocolate flavor is so warm and a perfect treat to have at the end of the day! Very soothing and the aroma -- especially if you're a chocolate lover -- is captivating as if you had a piece of dark chocolate at your side. Definitely a fave!
