To me, the spice was a little overwhelming. I was hoping for a slightly stronger chocolate taste. Still a very good tea, though.
The 'chai' part of this tea was good, but it was lacking in the 'chocolate' part. I even went back and re-brewed more after my first sip because it wasn't as deep a chocolate flavor as I would have liked. But taking that into consideration, the spice was just right and with a mixture of some other teas it would probably be upgraded from 'ok' to 'good' or 'great'. But on its own
I wasn't even able to finish the cup. Just not to my liking.
I was not impressed with this one. I loved the masala chai (the best one I've ever had) so I thought I would like this one. The combination of chai and chocolate didn't seem to work as well as I expected.
This chai was a really pleasant surprise of flavors for me. The flavor of chocolate is most prominent, the fairly mild spices are second and the tea flavor is just barely discernible in the background. Nice to share with friends after a meal.
It was ordered for a friend of mine, as per her given terms: The tea is really good. It's not too strong on the cinnamon taste, but there's no chocolate taste to it whatsoever.

I thought it would taste a bit more chocolatey than this, but I did enjoy it. With a bit of milk and a touch of agave, it was a wonderful dessert treat!
I'm a huge fan of the chocolate chai. I got it in the chai assortment and was too pleased not to purchase a full bag of chai. I really enjoy this tea with honey and mixed 50/50 with milk, so I tend to make it stronger than recommended on the package so that it's still spicy with milk.
I first tried this in the Chai sampler, it was my favorite one, i finished it the next day after opening it so i bought a big bag. I add condensed milk and it is the perfect combination.
I am not usually a fan of chai, wanted to try this, and wasn't so bad.
This was actually not as strong as I was expecting, but it was sweet, warm, and comforting--definitely more appropriate for winter than summer (time of review). I appreciated the ginger and cinnamon flavors that made for a well-rounded cup.
This tea makes the best iced chai. I enjoyed it unsweetened but it did need 2 tsps of tea to be strong enough. Highly recommend!
This tastes amazing!I brewed it for 3 minutes in 4/5 mug of water, then added a generous splash of milk. It isn't as spicy as many chai are, which I liked, and the chocolate and milk make it a very comforting and tasty drink!
I love this chai tea. It is an excellent flavor of chocolate mixed with wonderful chai spices, so it is perfect as a more adult chocolate flavor. It was not a big hit with my children

I liked the first sampler of this that we got several months back... I think the formula may have changed, because I was not a fan the second time around. I'll stick to the Masala, or steam some milk with cocoa on my own.
I get a unplesant taste with this tea. It looks like everyone liked it more with milk. The spices were too strong for me.
This is the first time I tried something like this and at first I just brewed with water. The chocolate was a light taste and quite enjoyable. When I was half done, I added in some milk and it smoothed out the flavor very much.
This chia tea was very good.and smelled awsome.anyone who is looking for a chia tea I would recomend you get this one.

I was a little disappointed in this chai. It is more like a cinnamon black tea than a classic chai, but it has its own charm. I think of it more as a 'mexican chocolate' flavored drink. It's very reminiscent of the Abuelita-brand baking chocolate, which I like, but I was expecting a lighter chocolate taste. Overall, I was very impressed by just how powerful the dark chocolate flavor was! Order if you REALLY want chocolate and cinnamon and you will not be disappointed!
This does not taste like chocolate. It's a cinnamon nutmeg mix and is disgusting.
A a lover of both Chocolate and Chai I have to say this was a bit disappointing. It really didn't have much in the way of chocolate flavor, and the chai flavor left much to be desired. IT wasn't terrible, but it wasn't really great either.

I had high hopes for this tea. It smells spicy as chai should, with tones of chocolate. But once in my cup, plain or with my favorite dairy product, it just didn't give me that oomph that I usually get and expect from chai.
I have tried other chocolate chais before and they didn't grab me like this one did. It is rich without being too harsh, and with a little local honey and a splash of milk or half and half it is delicious. However, I did try it as is and it is just as delish.

Not as strong as I expected so I went with 3 teaspoons per cup. Nice, fun tea. Extra sugar, real cream and shared a cup with a friend.
Nice color and body, but a tad heavy on the cinnamon for my taste. Would prefer a bit more of a classic chai profile w/ ginger, cardamon, black pepper, star anise, nutmeg, clove. This is just cinnamon, ginger, chocolate. Chocolate flavor, and aroma is very nice, though.

I wasn't a huge fan of this. I thought it tasted like a Tootsie Roll. I prefer the Spice Apple and Rooibos Vanilla Chai to this.

I don't know if I over brewed this tea or did not brew it enough but all I could taste was a flat chocolate and not enough chai. I enjoyed it but not the best chocolate chai I have had.

The spicy scent of this one is so rich sometimes I'm quite happy enough simply to open the bag and take a deep breath. That said, the taste itself is quite lovely, like hot chocolate with a bit of a kick. I wish the chai were a bit stronger, but I think that might just be me.
Lovely chocolate chai taste. Of course add a bit of sugar and milk for a delicious cup of tea. One of my favorites.
Not my favorite. Very strong flavor and not very chocolatey. Adding milk and sugar helps but it still is very strong.
