This is by far my favorite Chai. It's wonderfully spicy without being overpowering, and the chocolate flavor rounds it out nicely.

I think this might just be my favorite chai. It's smooth but still wonderfully spicy-- Definitely going to be a go-to tea for just about any occasion.

Meh, not bad, not great. The chocolate flavor is very light-- I'll stick with the masala chai.

★★★★☆

Not too bad, a bit more cinnamon than I care for though

★★★★☆

I ordered this as a sample and I like it. I'm not totally in love with it, but I did enjoy it. I taste more cinnamon than chocolate. I'm trying to switch from drinking coffee to tea in the morning. When I drink my morning coffee, I usually put cinnamon in it. So this was nice to substitute for my morning coffee. When I start making blends, I think I will make a chocolate chai but add more chocolate in the mix.

★★★★★

Completely delightful! The chocolate and spices are a wonderful blend! I served this to company over the holidays and they all enjoyed it.

★★★★★

This is amazing! The perfect dessert tea! I just wish it didn't take 2 scoops, I can see myself going through this really fast. I'm really really trying to figure out what it reminds me of. German chocolate cake and something else, I can't quite put my finger on it. It kind of reminds me of German chocolate cake flavored ice cream from Cold Stone creamery I think, which is also my favorite. I also got reminded of the smell inside Cracker Barrel restaurants a bit. I think it was the cinnamon and chocolate scent/flavors that made me reminisce of that.

★★★★☆

A great tea that is sweet but not too sweet. I like to drink the sweeter teas in the afternoon as a snack.

I can't handle these flavors anymore. My wife still likes them, and if their your bag, then this one's better than most.

★★☆☆☆

I don't like it because the chocolate flavor tastes like chocolate flavoring, not actual chocolate, and the spices aren't very strong. It's quite muddy tasting. Ew.

★★★★★

I ordered 26 different sample packs a few days after christmas, and this was by far my favorite of the flavored teas. It stands on its own black, and is even better with 1/3tsp of chocolate tea for a stronger taste.

This was a delicious chai and I find it amazing with milk and sugar. I do wish there was a stronger chocolate flavor to it, but I guess it was only meant to be an afterthought. It would have been amazing if it had chocolate chips in it. My only quibble with this is that the ginger became very strong and overbearing once it cooled a bit.

★★★★☆

This tea most definitely has a LOT of spice to it! It's almost a kick to your tastebuds if you let it sit too long. I really like it with sugar...without sugar...with cream...without cream... this is just an all around good tea. :)

★★★★☆

This is a nice mellow chai with a deep earthy flavor rather than an overly sweet chocolate.

★★★☆☆

I am a huge fan of chai teas, this one is only ok. It was kind of bitter tasting after awhile.

★★★★☆

Delicious, chocolaty and spicy! Not overpowering and would be good mixing with other scents.

★★★☆☆

Not as chocolately as you'd like, but that's because it's a tea! Still, leaves a little to be desired.

★★★★★

I've always liked chai, but this chocolate chai adds a really cool flavor that I hadn't tried before and really adds to the cinnamon flavor. I drink it with soy (or milk) and a little bit of honey for sweetness. I highly recommend this to lovers of chai

★★★☆☆

I've learned long ago that you can't judge a tea by its smell when you first open it and this chocolate chai definitely proves it. I've tried making it several different ways but though the smell when you first open the bag is very strongly a chocolate smell, the tea itself never really reaches that potential. A good tea, but a bit off and weak for me.

★★★★★

Yes yes yes yes. I liked it so much I got some for my mom. And she doesn't like chai. So now I have two!

★★★★☆

Yep, tastes like chocolate. I prefer the regular chai, but this is pretty good too.

★★★★☆

It smells really good, like cookies or cake.

As to the taste, it was just cinnamon and ginger, no chocolate. Reminded me more of gingerbread than anything else. I added a little shaved chocolate to the mix to give it a bit more chocolate taste.

★★★★☆

This is a pretty good chai. but doesn't quite stack up to another choco chai I've had in the past in terms of rich flavor.

★★★☆☆

Alright tea, has an odd sort of taste that isn't quite chocolate.

★★★★☆

I didn't like the chocolate notes at first. It smelled too sweet, but this tea definitely grew on me.

★★★★★

This is a great tea to drink on a cold winter morning! The sweetness of the cocoa and the spiciness of the chai work very well together.

★★★☆☆

This wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. I wanted it to be much more spicey.

★★★★☆

Spicy without being overwhelming. The chocolate flavor really came through. The smell is the most delicious part.

★★★★★

Great for the holiday season when you can't decide if you want tea or hot chocolate.

★★★★☆

Pretty spicy, but a great warm up tea in winter. Mellows out nicely with some milk if it's too strong for you. I brew my tea pretty weak and I found it still had a nice kick.

★★★★☆

Good combo of flavors. Not the top of my list but I'm more of a black tea man more than one that likes chai.

I am loving this tea. I got it as a sample with my order. I've never liked regular chai tea, but this sounded so good, I decided to try it. The spices are amazing and the chocolate is subtle until you add some sugar and milk, and then it pops right out at you and mixes with the spices so awesomely. I will definitely be buying more of this.

I like Chocolate Chai but am not in love with it. I guess I'm just used to stronger chai's.

★★★☆☆

Tastes a little weak. I want to make it into chocolate though.

The chocolate flavour was nice, but mild. Not spicy enough for my taste.

★★★★★

This review is for my boyfriend since we just use this account for both of us. He LOVED this tea. He's a fan of chocolate tea in general, but this one really did it for him.

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite. I'm really picky when it comes to chai teas, and this one was a little too cinnamony for me.

★★★★☆

I opted to try out the Chocolate Chai since I loved the Spiced Apple Chai but was sadly disappointed by the lack of chocolate flavor and the bitterness of the tea (but putting some cream and sugar fixed that). This is my first time brewing it so I'm hoping that a second brewing (and using some chocolate milk like someone suggested) might bring some better results.

All in all it's a good chai with a lot of spice, I just think I had an overzealous expectation.

I don't think I steeped it long enough, as the three minutes suggested on the pouch left the chai with a very watered down taste. As such, I didn't taste any sort of chocolate flavours in the chai, and was somewhat disappointed by it. However, I'm willing to give it a second go to make sure that it was merely the brewing time and not the tea.

I'm not really a fan so I'm glad I just got the sample size. I couldn't really taste any chocolate at all. The cocomint tea is a much better chocolate tasting tea if any one is looking.

this one wasnt strong enough for me.. also i barely tasted chocolate.

★★★★☆

This is only my first cup, and I think I overbrewed it (yay, multitasking!). It's tasty, but I don't taste a lot of chocolate in it. If I'm paying attention, I can find a little hint of it in there.

★★★★★

This is a very good chocolate Chai!
Chocolate flavored Ceylon black tea is intermixed with cardamom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon. Soothing spicy cocoa notes and a warming quality make this a soft chocolaty textured tea. I always put at least 1/2 milk and 1/2 water and sugar to taste in any Chai i drink.

★★★☆☆

This chai was not exceptionally flavorful despite the powerful aromatics of the dried tea. Chocolate flavors were subtle (probably more so than I would prefer) and likely needs to be made with more tea than is recommended on the packaging.

A gift for a friend. I'm actually quite jealous, I want to try this myself!

★★★★★

A very nice chai. Excellent with some raw honey and half

★★★★☆

This was my first loose tea experience. I enjoyed the flavor very much. In fact, I didn't even put the cup down, but held it in my hands and just sipped until it was gone.

★★★★★

Really delicious! I like drinking my tea without anything added, and this is just perfect!

★★★★☆

Good spice but chocolate flavor a bit thin. Would prefer more full-bodied flavor.

★★★★★

This blend smells amazing both in the pouch and when brewed. Better yet, I don't feel like it needs any additions, unlike other chai blends I've tried, to not be unbearably spicy or bitter.
